The Deporter in Chief

No, I’m not talking about the evil xenophobic Donald J. Trump. I’m talking about his predecessor, Barack Obama. Obama deported more people than all 20th century presidents combined. In fact, The Donald has a lot of work to do just to match Obama’s record.

So that begs the question where were all these protesters from 2009 – 2016?  These folks in the street crying for justice for illegal aliens sat on their hands while Obama kicked out Mexican after Mexican after Mexican.

It’s no wonder our country has lost its stature. We are currently led by a joke and we have a citizenry of hypocrites.

And another thing … if I hear one more time that Trump is anti-immigrant I’m gonna shoot the TV. He’s anti ILLEGAL immigrant. Do we protest the prosecution of rapists saying “the state is against men who just want to have intercourse”? Have we lost the ability to discern legal from illegal? One of the very few things the reality TV president has right is that we either have borders or we don’t. If we have a border, then there’s a legal way to cross it and an illegal way. The two should not be conflated. The day Trump says he wants to end all immigration, I’ll write another post apologizing for this one. Until then folks need to just shut up.

What do you think? The bar is open.

  1. This current president is costing taxpayers WAY MORE than the last one did. If he was a democrat (as his record indicates), the conservo-bots would be all over it. As of yet, crickets…

He is also doing an excellent job uniting the indigenous peoples against him and the rest of the treaty breakers

The revolution will not be televised.

  2. On one hand I want to applaud your post on the other hand I’m exasperated by the acceptance of stat padding conducted by DHS over the past eight years.
ICE is an insane waste of money in many ways. Like other big government entities they expend considerable resources and achieve minimal results. When they do actually mount up some clout they actually end up clogging the system, falsify their numbers and solve nothing.
Barack Obama’s increased “interior removal” numbers, falsely reported by the media as deportations, rests in the hands of of an expanded program under the auspices of CBP. CBP makes arrests and turns the folks over to ICE. ICE then usually within 48 hours administratively removes them and counts them as “removals” aka “deportations”

“The statistics are actually a little deceptive because what we’ve been doing is, with the stronger border enforcement, we’ve been apprehending folks at the borders and sending them back. That is counted as a deportation, even though they may have only been held for a day or 48 hours, sent back – that’s counted as a deportation.”

    Barack Obama 2011
Now one thing Obama can legitimately take credit for, with wary caution btw, is the ever awesome roller coaster of “safe communities”. In communities which ironically are not necessarily places that are blue i.e. sanctuary shitties the locals are racking up referrals that ICE acts upon as time, resources and $$ allows. Ultimately that does positively impact the removal numbers with he politically yummy focus on crimigrants that are also dangerous felons.
Now the other hand. Bless you for realizing the media which in the matter at hand are decidedly white whiney liberals are absolute hypocrites. They have slyly decided not to cover the Obama years “reporter in Chief” stuff for three reasons imo. First is they don’t want to tarnish their boy. Second they don’t want to provide fodder to the right who would enjoy fly over America and urban whites viewing non English speaking anti American protests replete with inflammatory Spanish babbling and AZTLAN flags. Third is the fact that the media doesn’t care about ANY PEOPLE OF COLOR until those people are useable for their agenda as seen by BLM,and Trump travel ban stuff.

  3. Have we lost the ability to discern legal from illegal?
That’s ALL ON YOU AND YOURS with a slight assist from the most idiotic sub-group of Libertarians.
The lib/prog mind police have written the book on Orwellian word play and never gave a damn about the unintended consequences. Sadly they were very clear on their intended consequences.

  4. TV must have been off for an hour or so…..

    😆 😆

Hey Poolman? Can you ask your poor “indigenous people” to at least pick up their trash after the firewater pow wow? The “holy” burial ground excuse might play a little better if they weren’t trashing out the cemetery.

  5. Obama changed his position on illegal immigration to set up the fight we are having right now. He could have taken that stance and forced those policies from the start…but he didn’t. Every single thing the man has ever done was for political, not humanitarian, purposes.

The only people Barack Obama cares about have (D) after their name.

  6. You mean the winners.

I guess it all depends on what you mean by winners. I already know who wins in the end.

If you mean those who steal and cheat to win, then yeah, the winners. Your team.

  7. The “holy” burial ground excuse might play a little better if they weren’t trashing out the cemetery.

Obviously you have no idea what actually took place and what is actually still taking place there.

    Not surprised. Ignorance is bliss…

  8. Public lands trashed no tribal land impact.
Standing Rock a solid lie pumped up by folks like AZ Pools.
As for winners. Personally my family had no role in the western indian tribal to do’s. That I’m a citizen of the USA I guess I can be called a beneficiary of Manifest Destiny. Nowhere near as much as you though.

  9. The guy who digs pools in Arizona for a living thinks he isn’t on the side that kicked the shit out of the previous inhabitants of Arizona,

  10. What do you think? The bar is open.

    a) i think you refuse to recognize how invested your party is in illegal immigration, as it continues to supply a base of voters for the DemCong Party. The last thing they want is anything to disrupt that dependence train. Because of this, the lefties in the media (but I repeat myself) are more than willing to tie themselves up in rhetorical knots to avoid stating the obvious when referring to them.

    b) I also think that manure was slipped into that bong Peace Pipe that Poolman has been smoking.

  11. The “holy” burial ground excuse might play a little better if they weren’t trashing out the cemetery.

I hate it when I laugh at Tex’s snark but that was funny.

  12. The guy who digs pools in Arizona for a living thinks he isn’t on the side that kicked the shit out of the previous inhabitants of Arizona

Poolman, not to pile on but surely you see the mixture of irony and hypocrisy in your position.

  13. i think you refuse to recognize how invested your party is in illegal immigration, as it continues to supply a base of voters for the DemCong Party.

I think you’re close but no cigar unless I’m not understanding you.

Net Mexican influx is down. More leaving than coming since our economy went in the crapper. AND all these illegals voting is an assertion without a shred of proof (sorry Donald).

But you’re close. The deliberate conflation of illegal with legal is designed to please the bleeding hearts of the base and keep THEM voting for the “DemCong” party.

  14. AND all these illegals voting is an assertion without a shred of proof (sorry Donald).

    Motor. Voter.

Are you aware that in many states, the DMV isn’t allowed to determine your citizenship? But they are required to sign you up to vote, relying only on the self-reporting of the person there in front of them.

In addition, most states cannot go through and verify the status of voters on their rolls…even when its possible, state laws often prevent it.

  15. He just told you many states automatically register people to vote while also preventing verification of status before and after being registered.

In other words…proof is virtually, and in many cases legally impossible.

But then, you knew that. Which is why you are opposed to any measures to address it.

  16. Huck the only thing I oppose is the suppression of legal voting. And since nothing made by man is perfect I can sleep easy with a 1% error rate, which is what I guess real voter fraud amounts to.

  17. Hey Tex, two out of three ain’t bad and that Muslim one was sheer genius.

You need to follow Asra Nomani. She’s an outspoken Muslim calling for a reformation. She opposed Ellison’s candidacy for DNC head on the grounds he was an apologist for radical Islam.

    She voted for Trump. 😀😀😀😀

  18. “I can sleep easy with a 1% error rate, which is what I guess real voter fraud amounts to.”

And what are you basing that figure on? It has already been noted that status verification before and after registration is illegal in many places, so you’re pulling numbers out of your ass.

Also…there were around 130,000,000 votes cast in the last election. So you figure there were 1.3 million illegal votes and you’re cool with that.

You read it right here, folks.

  19. The guy who digs pools in Arizona for a living thinks he isn’t on the side that kicked the shit out of the previous inhabitants of Arizona,

What ‘side’ kicked the shit out of the previous inhabitants of Arizona? What lines are you drawing? What side is your state on? So that’s your side too? Strawman.

Poolman, not to pile on but surely you see the mixture of irony and hypocrisy in your position.

I don’t think so. Arizona has a huge indigenous presence. I may have been born a yank, but my two oldest grandsons are 50 percent native american. We border the biggest and second biggest of the native nations. I work with plenty of natives.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Navajo_Nation

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tohono_O'odham_Nation

  20. I also think that manure was slipped into that bong Peace Pipe that Poolman has been smoking.

No. That’s in the compost pile. I think this stuff is called Akorn.

  21. So you figure there were 1.3 million illegal votes and you’re cool with that.

Do you or do you not believe that 0% voter fraud is impossible? If you believe it cannot be completely eliminated, what % can you sleep with?

  22. Charles Blow is a race pimp and asshole and untalented one at that. I would have slid to the other side of the table after asking where the bathroom was so I could wash my hands of his filthy stench.

The ultimate affirmative action journalist. Fuck him…

  23. “Do you or do you not believe that 0% voter fraud is impossible?”

I believe that there are a lot of numbers between 0 and 1, and I’m not comfortable with any of them when it comes to illegal voting.

“What ‘side’ kicked the shit out of the previous inhabitants of Arizona? What lines are you drawing? What side is your state on? So that’s your side too?”

I never said it wasn’t my side. You’re the one trying to deflect, not me.

“but my two oldest grandsons are 50 percent native american.”

So? That speaks to your kids, not you. The fact is you would be building above ground pools on the East Coast if it weren’t for the expansion of the “side” you are trying so desperately to deny you’re a part of. Your self-loathing is glaring.

Re: that Blow video…she should have asked him “is it because I’m white?” BOOM!

  24. The fact is you would be building above ground pools on the East Coast if it weren’t for the expansion of the “side” you are trying so desperately to deny you’re a part of.

The fact? Not hardly. If I never left the east coast, I doubt I would have gotten into the swimming pool business. At 18 when I did, I lived in El Paso, Texas. ‘The pass’ to the north.

What ‘side’ am I on? It sounds like you are accusing me of white privilege or racism or just being born in america. Like somehow I conspired and conquered and own something that belonged to others. Is that it? Are you saying because I was born half white (or all white if you consider Italians white) I am on the side of white people? Or that/this government? Is this a racist or a white privilege or a patriotic charge? We all live on top of those that came before us. My beef is with those presently stomping out the living.

  25. #OscarsSoUnseen

I guess I’m out of touch. I don’t follow the Oscars, and in fact would rather have Poolman corn cob me than watch them, but I don’t think I’ve seen but one Oscar nominated for best picture, and that was Redbox for $1.63.

I sincerely hope it’s a 3½ hour Trump bash so we can ensure an even Redder America in less than two years.

  26. I believe that there are a lot of numbers between 0 and 1, and I’m not comfortable with any of them when it comes to illegal voting.

Well I’ll tell you what I believe. The franchise is so precious that I would allow ten men to illegally vote before I would deny a legal vote to anyone.

The burden of proof that there is a substantial problem is on you. You need to PROVE your case before the right to vote is taken from the worthy.

  27. I sincerely hope it’s a 3½ hour Trump bash so we can ensure an even Redder America in less than two years.

A few jokes. I’ve been in and out of the WC all night so I may have missed the heavy snark.

  28. “The franchise is so precious that I would allow ten men to illegally vote before I would deny a legal vote to anyone.”

And you can’t prove that any of the proposed measures to address the problem would deny a single vote.

What classifies as a substantial problem? You’ve already conceded you wouldn’t lose sleep over 1.3 million illegal votes, for christ’s sake.

Big Chief Poolcohantas has already bored me.

  29. And you can’t prove that any of the proposed measures to address the problem would deny a single vote.

Any? You’re really putting yourself out there. Any? How about not allowing voting on the days when churches are most likely to help blacks get to the polls? That’s one example.

  30. LOL The dumbasses couldn’t even get the Best Picture of the night right. And these are our betters.

I lied. I actually saw Arrival at the matinee. I guess I’ve seen two of them. Fun popcorn movie. But if Arrival was one of the year’s best, Hollywood is even more wooden than I originally believed. Plus I found that the cute actress is a moonbat. Have to write her off too to RedBox.

  31. I believe this is one of yours:

Nope. I’ve never been a fan. First every time I see him I’m distracted by the fact a gay man’s last name is “blow”.

Second, gay or not, he’s a drama queen.

On a side note, I coulda sworn I saw Chuck Shumer yelling “dump Trump”. How fucking disappointing. I actually thought he might provide some mature leadership and make us forget the embarrassment named Harry Reid.

  32. Although I still think Ted Cruz trolls the idiot Left better than anybody I’ve ever read, Trump becomes more appealing day by day. What’s not to like? 😆

  33. Rutherford I cannot fathom how you can justify your voter equation. One of the biggest and bipartisan acknowledged types of voter “fraud” is vote mining. Such mining on the (D) side runs boldly counter to your argument about a church or other GOTV entity getting someone to somewhere on a singular Tuesday.
There isn’t a black person in America who can’t get their vote cast if they are willing to put forth the minimal effort and stand with the minimal amount of honesty.
The flip side is that almost everywhere in the USA somebody can and does “legitimately” show up at the polls and cast a vote that for all intents and purposes is illegal. The various state level officials don’t “catch it” because they look for it. This was supported by MI having to stop the Stein recount due to various discrepancies found with the cast ballots. HAD THERE NOT BEEN A RECOUNT THE SECRETARY OF STATE FOR MICHIGAN WOULD’VE TESTIFIED ALL DAY LONG THT THERE WAS NO VOTER FRAUD IN THE STATE.

  34. Just in case anybody cares the map I provided earlier was sourced from a pro-tribe entity.
Standing Rock was all a lie brought forth by the native Americans, the greens and idiots.
That said the pipeline is the least bad idea for transporting the devils excrement. Its still bad and comes with the curse that everyone needs to stay vigilant but since renewables are an absolute fallacy we need the curse.

  35. That “Devil’s Excrement” is the life blood of the very industrial revolution that turned the lights on. That comment was “uneconomical.” 😐

I continue to be bewildered that people fail to understand the devil’s excrement produces 71% of the energy needs of the U.S.. – and that doesn’t even include every polyethylene, polypropylene, polystyrene and polyvinyl chloride, nor the polymers.

There’s a reason every American President was willing to make war over the devil’s excrement. 😉

  36. “Any? You’re really putting yourself out there. Any? How about not allowing voting on the days when churches are most likely to help blacks get to the polls? That’s one example.”

What was the proposed anti-voting fraud measure that led to that outcome?

On a related note, the DNC required identification for voters in their election for party chair. I guess the prospect of fraud only matters in certain elections.

  37. What was the proposed anti-voting fraud measure that led to that outcome?

The reduction of days allowed for folks to vote. I don’t have time right now but Google it. As soon as the Fed voter protection law was not renewed, several Southern states started restricting access to the polls.

On a related note, the DNC required identification for voters in their election for party chair. I guess the prospect of fraud only matters in certain elections.

That’s silly and you know it. Folks voting in the DNC election are well heeled enough not to need protection. The voting protections are needed by the poor, the disabled and the elderly.

  38. Trumps Perez tweet is unPresidential.

Trumps entire Twitter account is unpresidential. He needs to stick to @POTUS.

Fox News Sunday interviewed the guy Trump dictates his tweets to. I haven’t watched it yet.

  39. Nah, it was more mockery of America, Alfie. Were you an Obama lemming, it might have been aimed at you, but fortunately for us and YOU, you’re far from an Obama barking seal.

    Say like…oh…

    Rutherford. 😛

  40. “That’s silly and you know it. Folks voting in the DNC election are well heeled enough not to need protection. The voting protections are needed by the poor, the disabled and the elderly.”

Huh? Do I need to read this in a mirror to understand it or something?

  41. @ Rutherford as I understand it the three states that did the most tinkering are: OH, FL & NC.
Ohio is kind of unique since their 2004 onwards elections were tainted by 2004’s shambles of stocking polling stations properly. 08 & 12 saw improvements but the numbers are skewed by Obama being on the ballot.
FL seems to be most roundly called out on its “rebalancing ” of polling stations per precint per population thing. Manatee County cut 30+ locations for example. However the move was always subject to review and funds were meant to support early voting initiatives. I think we need to accept that fairness swings both ways. Although minority or other disenfranchised areas deserve support it shouldn’t be disproportionate. FL btw has experienced a a stability in its black vote turnout that other states haven’t. Which seems to tun counter to the following.
NC is seemingly your best case for charges of suppression. A number of successful lawsuits in the 4th Circuit seem to support claims that some degree of malicious intent occurred. This is sad since the initial actions of the state legislature were right imo.
NC is held up as some kind of case study regards its turnout ceiling of black voters. I don’t understand the stuff I’ve read on that. Seems like biased fuzzy math to me.

I’m an early voting convert. I’m still against same day registration and I’m iffy on provisional ballots. I’m against motor voter registration** and I think absentee ballots should be better secured.
All things considered and available I simply can’t accept your position on voter suppression especially regards serving as a justification for failing to prevent fraud.

** I actually have a deeper position on the RMV’s (DMV) role that impacts this

  42. On the dnc angle those mother €#<%ers make the Electoral College Popular Vote divide look like a picnic. In MA they routinely shut down primaries even though the candidates are clearly eligible 😆

  43. “I thought you used a mirror to clarify everything you read.”

Okaaaay. So the well-heeled need “less protection” by way of checking i.d. before casting a ballot in the primaries, rather than more “protections” by requiring no proof of identity. Perfectly logical.

There again it makes more sense for 10 invalid votes to affect the outcome of an election than not accepting one valid vote that might affect the outcome of an election. 🙄

  44. ” I don’t have time right now but Google it.”

Well, then when you have time to support your own claims then we can continue the discussion.

  45. Mmmm W piped in on the importance of a free press. LOL Trump is such an idiot that even the heretofore silent W decided to speak out.

I guaran-fucking-tee you every president living and dead is hanging his head in embarrassment over Trump.

  46. W needs to shut the fuck up and paint something. He was silent, as was a vast majority of the country, when Obama was wire-tapping the phones of journalists…and their parents!…and threatening espionage charges against them.

Obama called Fox News a bunch of liars for 8 full years. He was on the verge of excluding FNC from briefings, until the other networks had a snit and he backed off. The only cries heard from the country were in agreement, mocking referring to them as “Faux News”. Trump calls them all liars for a month and excludes some from a fucking informal gaggle and suddenly we’re 1 step away from Nazi Germany.

Trump hasn’t even yet dreamed of going after the press the ways Obama did in reality.

  47. Damn, I never realized tonight that Bill Ney the Unscience Guy is most likely mentally ill, a jackboot, and a very, very angry man. He just tacitly threatened Tucker Carlson. 😆 😆

What an a_hole. The Left is cracking. You guys are going to have to see this interview.

  48. Bill Paxton was one of the few good guys in Hollywood. I loved his acting in several movies, in various roles. He was hilarious in True Lies, great in Apollo 13, memorable in Aliens. I even remember him as a punk in the first Terminator.

He will definitely be missed. Talented guy…and never fully appreciated, in my opinion.

  49. I guaran-fucking-tee you every president living and dead is hanging his head in embarrassment over Trump.

Oh, please!!!! From an Obama toady, nonetheless. Everyone of you slacked jawed loons, moonbats and troglodytes that tooted the Obamessiah horn in 2008 don’t even have the sense to zip your lips and feel shame.

Look at the stinking pile of shit the idiot Obama left. What a travesty…

  50. Tex I can think of at least one president who would view Obama as the ultimate expression of his legacy – Abraham Lincoln.

I cannot think of a single president who would tolerate Trump for a nanosecond.

Sheeeeeut, Harry Truman and Andrew Jackson would fight over who got to kick Trump’s ass first.

  51. Tex I can think of at least one president who would view Obama as the ultimate expression of his legacy – Abraham Lincoln

Lincoln would have wept for the country. What Lincoln had devoted his life to with the guilt of 600,000 of his brothers lost, the Deceiver Obama had tried to tear apart by race and identity politic. Obama is the slave master, the General of the now Black Confederate Army.

And you think some Divider like Obama would have appealed to Lincoln? Surely you jest?

  52. You’re wrong on Andrew Jackson. Perhaps you meant Johnson.

No, I know my Jackson from my Johnson 😊. I wasn’t making a political statement. Jackson didn’t suffer fools gladly and Trump is a fool.

And yes Teddy would have hit Trump with the big stick.

  53. And you think some Divider like Obama would have appealed to Lincoln? Surely you jest?

I “know” you so well I could have written that myself. In fact when I made the comment I saw your retort coming from a mile away.

    And don’t call me Shirley.

  54. LOL. Tex, I watched the Bill Nye piece with Tucker. Anyone that looks to Nye for “scientific” facts is a total fucking idiot. The guys is a complete hack.

The Tucker Carlson routine will undoubtedly get old, and probably pretty fast. But for now, I am going to tune in as much as possible. It is entertaining as shit. I love how unprepared most of these liberal idiots are. They step into the ring, fists balled, with nothing more than fuzzy platitudes. It’s like a drunk redneck asks his buddy to hold his beer while stepping into the ring with the bear.

  55. Rutherford I was thinking aling reality lines. Lincoln quite probably would’ve gotten a hoot out if Obama getting elected but also be horrified by his role in division and malice etc. Abe would nit like Trump.
Andrew Jackson was a fiery nationalist and would’ve found Trump a kindred spirit. TR would likely have a coin toss moment on Trumps morality but would agree with his nationalism American assertiveness and would have a knowing chuckle with Donald as they compared notes on what others felt about them all the way up to taking residence @1600 Penn.
Grover Cleveland would’ve totally sympathized over fake news.
Get a fucking history book and stay away from Doris Goodwin. 😁

  56. Get a fucking history book and stay away from Doris Goodwin.

LOL I don’t read her and soured on her anyway when I heard she was a plagiarist. The reason she and Mike Barnicle still have any kind of platform is the lib media’s tolerance of their own’s trespasses.

  57. Andrew Jackson was a fiery nationalist and would’ve found Trump a kindred spirit.

Yes, the Jackson/Trump comparisons abound in the media. As far as I know, Jackson was not a rudderless poser. Trump is.

I repeat Andy would shoot Trump in that orange face of his, given the chance.

  58. “Ok gang, anyone wanna place bets on whether we’ll have a Dem version of “YOU LIE” tomorrow night?”

What I’ll bet is that the left will cheer loudly when it happens.

  59. Holy fuck. Have you seen that disrespectful Ho, Kellyanne Conway, with her feet on the couch?

In related news, Trump met with the leaders of historically black colleges and universities.

  60. I become less impressed with Amazon by the day.

Fortunately, I pay most of my bills online, so today I went out to pay the VISA bill, only to notice a $99 charge for Amazon Prime. WTF?

I quickly canceled it and supposedly they are going to “reimburse me” since I didn’t use it. Use it? I don’t even remember signing up for it, and I damn sure didn’t receive notification I had signed up for it less the advertisement says.

That’s damn near criminal in my estimation.

  61. In related news, Trump met with the leaders of historically black colleges and universities.

    RACIST – RACE BAITER!!!
Donald Trump doesn’t care about white people.

  62. Sorry Tex … you’re losing it. I’m a Prime member and you don’t enroll in that by accident.

BUT you are right that they don’t send a renewal warning.

I like it. Free shipping and access to free books and music. Only valuable to frequent Amazon shoppers.

  63. Revised Trump comment to Andrew Jackson:

“Hey Andy, if Rachel were still alive she’d let me grab her by the pussy. Don’t forget, your wife was a bigamist whore. And a 6 out of ten, by the way. Uglier than Rosie O’Donnell”.

I wanted to make the quote more historically accurate. 😀

  64. The idiots also included a woman who wasn’t dead in their Oscar tribute. And these court jesters think it appropriate to constantly tell us all what they think?

The left needs a good long stint in a rest home before they try and make a comeback.

  65. “Yup just like the right defended Joe Whatshisname back in the day.”

I have no problem with him being called out on the floor of Congress for lying if and when he lies.

Unlike you, I am not under some illusion that our leaders should be held up on a pedestal and treated like royalty. When they fuck up they deserve to be called fuck-ups…loudly and often.

  66. “Holy fuck. Have you seen that disrespectful Ho, Kellyanne Conway, with her feet on the couch?”

I get what you are saying…but what in holy hell was she doing?????

Damn….you know it’s bad when I’m cringing over a lack of professionalism. Someone send that chick to a 3 week mini bootcamp for some military bearing.

I’d consider firing her over that. Am I crazy?

  67. Sorry Tex … you’re losing it. I’m a Prime member and you don’t enroll in that by accident.

I know you believe Leftist organizations are flawless like Obama, but being I never received a notification, not a renewal dumbass because I never had it to begin with, I’m not sure you should stake your life on that bet now, would you?

  68. Got your response to Trumps speech all written up Rutherford?

Pull the string on his back and it’s already written. 😉

Trumps entire Twitter account is unpresidential. He needs to stick to @POTUS.
The leader of the free world should not be a troll.
As far as I know, Jackson was not a rudderless poser. Trump is.
    RACIST – RACE BAITER!!!
    Trump is a fool.

  69. “Can you imagine what Bill Clinton did on that couch?”

Nasty. I’d imagine a CSI black light would show the couch to be a Slick Willy created piece of modern art.

  70. But first and foremost I’m a proud Republican. Lol.

Wtf was up with the awkward diner and the geezer. I kept waiting for him to talk about gold coins or diabetes.

  71. I can’t stop belly laughing over the Democratic response. Wtf!!!!!!!!

The Democratic Party is so fucking panicked and weird right now. They put a Depends informercial on as this pathetic attempt to get white working stiffs (who everyone pretty much knows they despise) back on board.

    The was fucking comedy gold.

  72. I can’t believe I never tuned in one second to the SOTU. I was too busy watching college basketball and forgot all about it.

Understand the Trump speech was pretty well received and no Dimocrats turned into Satan during the presentation, though Nancy Pelosi appears to be suffering from acute sepsis and scaling.

  73. Wasn’t Obama the last Democrat to respond to a GOP president’s address to Congress? And this guy is the best they could find 8 years later?

They had the perfect stage to put forth a leader and this is who they get.

  74. “Speaking of entertainment, did you ever watch Hell or High Water?”

Still on my watch list, but I haven’t got to it yet. I’ve been utilizing NetFlix and Amazon more and…other forms of streaming…less. Mainly because I can watch those others from bed. 😀 Which is where I’m headed now. G’night folks.

  75. not a renewal dumbass because I never had it to begin with

You lost me. I didn’t get a renewal warning either and I DID enroll in Prime. I don’t think they send renewal warnings.

  76. RACIST – RACE BAITER!!!

That was sarcastic, ding dong. I even mocked Kanye West. Reread the comment.

FWIW, MSNBC is making an embarrassment of itself tonight. And to add insult to injury, their idea of incisive analysis is to have unfunny comedienne Kathy Griffin on s panel show.

  77. Wtf was up with the awkward diner and the geezer.

This is further evidence of the dissolution of the Dem party. They couldn’t even get a sitting politician to give the response. An ex-governor. Embarrassing as fuck. The party is in complete disarray. They were so damn sure Hillary would win that they are now lost and clueless.

  78. Don’t worry, Rutherford. You’re perfect candidate is hinting at saving the party. Oprah Winfrey is showing interest. I’m sure Oprah can put you over the top with steel workers and the like.

  79. Rutherford? You honestly believe most people in America today like the idea of gender neutral bathrooms in the stores and in their schools like former Dear Leader now Dunce Obama? Remember Target and their shared dressing rooms, which the Left cheered their progressiveness? 😆

While the market has exploded, Target’s stock price is down about 30% since the announcement. The rest of the retailers are sitting about even.

Hope & Change, my friend. Everything you Feel the Bern types touch turns to shit…

  80. “Trump’s speech gets a solid Rutherford Lawson B+.”

It was a homerun. Hit all the emotional buttons and lofty platitudes you libbies require to boot.

Great retort from the dems. 😆

    Sucks to be you.

  81. And best part? Watching Trump reminded me what a fuckwad Obama was. The absence of all the moral preening and being lectured like a six-year old was awesome.

A little worried Trump won’t stop the rising seas though. As I understand it from geniuses like “settled science Nye,” Manhattan is underwater and the rotting corpses of polar bears rolling onto the Indiana coastline have me really, really concerned.

  82. p.s. R, Bill Nye is a mechanical engineer and actor that was rejected by NASA. He’s no mathematician from Harvard that knows how to evaluate all of the data and separate it from the claims of teevee an agenda popularizer. 🙄

  83. I saw that too, Alfie. Grave disappointment. My favorite Disney movie to boot, with my favorite music. Even saw it on Broadway.

I should have known Disney would screw up Beauty with that put that sniveling, insufferable Harry Potter rube in place of Belle. What a sorry sack of chit.

  84. Everything’s out of the bag.
Disney has always had an agenda.
Mind controlled perversions ala britney and miley.

  85. I have been gone from here and most entertainment or news media for awhile.

I disagree with Poolman, because I do know “a thing or two,” and the disputed pipelines are near us. Why do the Sioux tribes get special dispensation any more than we do?

The Arikara Indians entered the area around 1500.Then, the Cheynne, Crow, Kiowa and Pawnee tribes took the land, and it became their sacred homeland.

The Sioux nation migrated slowly west and after they settled in Minnesota, they invaded the plains as Europeans later did. The Sioux showed little sympathy to the claims of their predecessors.

The Sioux resented Europeans because they believed they were behaving as whites did.

The Sioux, no more than whites have no realistic sacred ties to the Plains or Black Hills. What they own is a fantasy gained through conquest.

They are dupes of socialistic Ludites and they forfeited any sympathy I might hold for them by their despoiling what they claimed as sacred land. Besides leaving tons of trash, they polluted the local air with ceremonial fires. They also left pets behind. One was a mother dog.

Those people can take their claims and false protests and shove them in the nearest orfice.

  86. I like your latest rant, Rutherford.

I would call the picture of Rosie O
Donald reminiscent of a fat pig, but pigs don’t deserve to be in such vile company.

  87. My father and grand father were mechanical engineers and farmers. They knew more about farming than the science guy understands about climate.

  88. They had the perfect stage to put forth a leader and this is who they get.

    America’s Ex-Wife wasn’t sober.

Bernie was hosting a party at his third house afterward.

Lizzie Warren couldn’t make a buck from appropriating someone else’s heritage to do it,

Debbie Whatsherbutt didn’t want to eschew her Klan uniform for the evening,

Granny Rictus Pelosi just got a botox injection, so her face was a death mask.

  89. Amazon is a bull shit company. So much fake shit. It’s fucking China Town. We just got ripped off on garbage bags. Fake. And their “prime” isn’t much better when it comes to weeding out the Chinks.

Buy nothing substantial off Amazon. Trust no reviews.

  90. I disagree with Poolman, because I do know “a thing or two,” and the disputed pipelines are near us.

The problem with most people is they know a thing or two, but tend to miss the big picture.

It’s much bigger than an oil pipeline or two. It is bigger than broken treaties and disputed land or eminent domain. This latest stand and peaceful gathering has united peoples of all nations. It’s about protecting land and water and air. It’s about living in community. It’s about giving up on destructive practices that are proven unhealthy for all life and concentrating on nurturing the earth back to health.

The ways of capitalists and the disease of consumerism have proven to be unsustainable and cannot continue for much longer. The power structure knows that. Those who can live off grid will be better able to survive going forward.

  91. I got another movie to add to the worth the watch list if you’re a Netflix or Prime viewer, etc. etc.. etc…

I don’t know if your type of movie, Huck, because I don’t know your genre taste.

But Woman in Gold was quite good – based on a true story. Helen Mirren, as it seems as always, is fabulous in it.

  92. It’s fucking China Town. We just got ripped off on garbage bags. Fake. And their “prime” isn’t much better when it comes to weeding out the Chinks.

😆 😆 😆 Classic! Rabbit, if you’ll allow me, next time I’m up in Pittsburgh to see my daughter and have access to a car, I’m going to drive up to Detroit and take you out to eat and drink beer for a few laughs.

  93. Poolman, those protesters desecrated the land they claimed to protect. Some defended their protests as a way of preventing Canadians from extracting so much oil from the tar sands of Alberta.

They failed to understand that nothing but very low prices would stop the outflow of tar and oil. The company devised an alternative plan. They would build a pipe line across the Canadian Rockies to Vancouver. From there, ships would carry the oil to China.

The pipe line across sometimes geographically unstable mountains and ships carrying oil across a stormy ocean provided a greater environmental risk than the pipe line under flat geologically more stable land. The second pipeline will reduce the need for hauling oil in trucks and trains. That is also more dangerous than the pipeline.

The protesters were motivated by a faulty premise, and some of the leaders hid their true motives.

Jane Klebb for example represented herself as a non partisan farmer who’s motivation was to protect our environment. She is now Nebraska Democratic chair, and she is involved in outstate attempts to stop other oil transport.

  94. “This won’t go over well here at the bar.”

Yaaaaawn. NYT with more unnamed officials and “Trump associates” linked to speculation and conjecture and smear.

Let’s get back to more well-sourced stories of golden showers.

  95. “I’m going to drive up to Detroit and take you out to eat and drink beer for a few laughs.”

    Any time!

  96. Seen in comments…

    Now, let me be clear.

    -head turn

This is completely unacceptable, and not Who We Are.

    -head turn

You know, when I was on the campaign trail

    -head turn

    Folks used to ask me,

    -head turn

“Hey Barack, how’d you get so good at making speeches?”

    -head turn

    ** GUFFAW **

  97. You honestly believe most people in America today like the idea of gender neutral bathrooms in the stores and in their schools

You know the main reason I have a problem with gender neutral bathrooms in K – 12? Because I think it is a crime to lead any child who does not have a biological problem (i.e. an hermaphrodite) to believe they are in the “wrong” body. I say, “hey Billy, deal with the dick until you’re 18. Then you can do what you want. Now get out of that dress and put on a pair of pants.”

Seriously show me an 8 year old boy who thinks he’s a girl and I’ll show you a pair of fucked up parents and guidance counselors.

  98. A little worried Trump won’t stop the rising seas though.

No but now dead industries will “spring to life”. 🙄

You’re such a partisan hack you don’t even hear platitudes from your own side.

  99. Amazon is a bull shit company. …

While I find your assessment overstated, I must admit I’m seeing a lot of reports of “knockoffs” getting shipped. I suspect it happens more with the resellers and not Amazon itself. And the reviews represent a true cross section of opinion. In fact, the reason I say “trust no reviews” is because they will drive you crazy. One guy loves a product and another hates it. The reviews drive me into a state of analysis paralysis.

  100. Yaaaaawn. NYT with more unnamed officials and “Trump associates” linked to speculation …

Unless I posted the wrong article you missed my point. The part I didn’t think the bar would like was Obama staffers spreading Trump shit before leaving.

  101. “No but now dead industries will “spring to life”. 🙄

You’re such a partisan hack you don’t even hear platitudes from your own side.”

What? The seas didn’t rise. You’re such a partisan hack you don’t even hear compliments given to your side. 🙄

  102. Tex it’s pretty galling to see Donald accused of using the widow as a prop when EVERY president uses someone as a prop at these things. It’s become a tradition.

  103. So here’s the deal just in case you haven’t figured it out yet. The left and the left media will not stop until Trump is driven from office. I’m not saying they will succeed but that is their goal and they will be relentless.

    Buckle your seatbelt.

  104. Mmmmm doggie, looks like Jefferson Beauregard Sessions may be in hot water. I hope Mike Flynn cleared some space in that dog house for a roommate. 😳😳😳

  105. So R media sources are gearing up the Rooskies shit again after the speech. NYT now the Post.

So, here comes more fake news from the fake news sources themselves:

“The Washington Post reports that Sessions met Sergey Kislyak once at a Heritage Foundation event in July 2016, where other ambassadors were also present. It also reports that Sessions met with Kislyak in his Senate office in September, in his capacity on the Senate Armed Services Committee.

The hook on which the Post attempts to hang Sessions is that he did not disclose the meetings to the Senate when he was asked about “possible contacts between members of President Trump’s campaign and representatives of Moscow.” Sessions’s spokesperson at the Department of Justice, Sarah Isgur Flores, says his answer in January was truthful because he was asked about “the Trump campaign — not about meetings he took as a senator and a member of the Armed Services Committee.”

  106. Flynn and Sessions don’t compare imo. Flynn had obvious shadows if inappropriateness but was properly fired for his lying. Sessions is clean and if the democrats want to go there they’re in for a world of hurt down the road

  107. Al Frankin asked Sessions a direct question and Sessions responded with a direct answer. If he had any contact with Russians, he should have said so, even if it had nothing to do with the campaign.

Either Sessions was clean with a short term memory problem, or he was lying.

In either case, it looks bad to me. He should have known that even if he and a Russian were as little as a block apart, Democrats would have bludgened him and Trump.

  108. Rutherford, I am inflicting this Dutch band on you in reaction to your “relentless” comment and to the angry, hopeless harradens who wore white to Trump’s speech.

Progressive Washington DC, not, Tallin, Estonia is the “city without hope” and the “city without joy.” The progressives are slowly realizing they, not the singer are ideologically “homeless.”

  109. “Sessions is clean and if the democrats want to go there they’re in for a world of hurt down the road.”

I think you’re right. When you look at the context, this is just manufactured bullshit and I think everyone is getting pretty tired of the jihad waged by the lib media.

  110. “If he had any contact with Russians, he should have said so, even if it had nothing to do with the campaign.”

James, given the full context of the question and answer, I think that’s imposing too high of a standard on this one. This is all simulated outrage — clearly coordinated among the lib press too.

  111. R, this Sessions stuff is of the same quality as that NYT piece you posted. I’m guessing you saw too that Obama and his minions are basically admitting that they left the WH with the express purpose of creating media controversy for Trump. Obama’s such a douche.

  112. I cannot wait until Team Trump gets enough people in place to start looking at and releasing all of Obama’s dirty little secrets. Illegal discussions with Iran. Illegal gun running to Syrian terrorists. Illegal discussions in the Hillary Clinton investigation. All of it.

Let Obama and his live-in Iranian bitch come. He told the country he would be personally insulted if Hillary wasn’t elected and we see how that went.

I think people are going to continue to see this for what it is and the Democratic party will sink deeper into the abyss.

  113. I think it is time for Trump to launch that independent criminal investigation into the Hillary Clinton issue and again threaten to lock her up if it bears fruit. Democrats and the media want to run a distraction campaign…the Trump needs to be the one to control the distraction.

  114. Sessions should just say he was discussing yoga and grandkids with the Russian ambassador and be done with it. We already know those are acceptable topics during potentially illegal communications.

  115. Holy fuck. This Sessions thing is rven more pathetic than I originally surmised. Check out Ace if you want to see the actual question and answer. And while you’re at it, check out that bafoon Claire Mcmuffin.

This shit is Dan Ratheresque. Fucking clowns. 🤡

  116. Does the Democratic Party have a proposal or plan to what ails anything in the country, even one contrary to Trump’s ideas?

For the six weeks Trump has been President, I haven’t seen, heard or read one idea or policy proposed. It’s been one conspiratorial charge after another, Sessions only the latest target – or what ever Trump proposes, they’re against without even a proposed policy of their own.

I think Dimocrats in the Age of Obama have become Hollywood. They’ve been reduced to petty squabbling, rank politic, opening the wrong envelopes, and bad sequels. The entire party is apparently devoid of new ideas.

  117. “Does the Democratic Party have a proposal or plan to what ails anything in the country, even one contrary to Trump’s ideas?”

Sure they do, Tex. “Impeach Trump” That’s their proposed policy.

And they know they will never win enough elections to do it on their own, so their goal, now, is to turn Republicans.

  118. “Sessions should just say he was discussing yoga and grandkids with the Russian ambassador and be done with it.”

He should’ve just told him that he relayed the message that Trump would have more flexibility after the election.

  119. “No seat belts needed for a hay ride.”

Yeah. Hold on! The media might start attacking Trump in an effort to drive him from office.

  120. Any issues with double jeopardy if this were opened up again?

“Obama DOJ drops charges against alleged broker of Libyan weapons
Arms dealer had threatened to expose Hillary Clinton’s talks about arming anti-Qadhafi rebels.”

  121. Maybe threaten to reopen the charges and then offer the guy immunity for his testimony against Obama and Clinton, with the understanding that if he reneges on the deal it voids his immunity?

  122. I think that’s imposing too high of a standard on this one.

Yup. Beauregard is just a simple country lawyer. He’s not capable of very specific answers that will cover his ass down the road. 🙄

  123. Sessions should just say he was discussing yoga and grandkids …

The lib media beat you to it. The Lynch comparisons have already been made with calls for Sessions to recuse himself the way Lynch supposedly did.

I personally felt Lynch should have been fired.

  124. Check out Ace if you want to see the actual question and answer.

LOL You’re the clown. The “actual question and answer” is all over the internet. You hardly need to go to Ace. Franken’s question was specific, Session’s answer was Clintonesque in its wiggle room. But wiggle room can both cover you or condemn you depending on how your enemy plays it.

  125. Yes, el tigre, it is simulated outrage, but it is part of a plan to gradually weaken the Trump administration. They are throwing mud until something sticks.

On the surface, it looks bad, and every one in the administration must guard his/her verbal and political virtue with the determination of Ceaser’s wife.

Real outrage comes from the Russians. They know the Democratic press is trying to weaken Trump as they destroy any semblance of an impartial press. Some Russians sound like us on our good days.

  126. “Impeach Trump” That’s their proposed policy.

I don’t see where the left can be blamed as the originators of such lame tactics after 8 years of the right proposing “Impeach Barack Hussein Obama” as policy.

The difference this time around is neither side has moral ground to stand upon.

    “Catapult the propaganda”

  127. “Oh you mean the shit Christopher Stevens was involved in that probably got him killed?”

I mean all of it. Who discussed it with whom? How/when/where was it discussed? How was it paid for? How was it covered up?

    All of it.

The windsurfing ex-president and his live-in political advisor need to be put on the defensive.

  128. “I don’t see where the left can be blamed as the originators of such lame tactics”

And I don’t see where I claimed they originated it.

  129. Rand Paul being denied access to Republican ObamaCare repeal plan, which is being guarded by fucking armed guards.

I guess we won’t know what’s in the bill until we pass it.

    Fuck the GOP, too.

  130. @ Huck I’ve got a number of “fuck the GOP too” things cooking as well. I watched Cornyn take the corporate whores line on immigration to my shock and dismay and the health care repeal/replace thing is fraught with dishonesty. Add to that the lame “Well the democrats are dragging their feet and obstruction too” shit that the GOP dominated Congress is pinning their dishonesty and inadequacies hopes upon is also way grating.
    FUCK THE GOP indeed!

  131. McCaskill’s time is about up – even if she runs against Akins this time. Here’s guessing that hag won’t even run in 2018 to save face. Missourians disdain that witch…

    She’s gone. Good riddance.

  132. “LOL You’re the clown. The “actual question and answer” is all over the internet. You hardly need to go to Ace.”

    Do you have a point?

This shit is idiotic and so is your response to it. Rube.

  133. I would start killing people too, Alfie, but there are so many of them. The survivors would kill me.

The right had some basis for impeaching Obama and Hillary in several cases. Benghazi is just one. There is no reason for impeaching Trump yet because he has had no time to do anything.

Unlike Republicans, Democrats have little power to change the agenda short of various forms of intimidation and political stunts like attempted impeachment.

  134. Republicans in Congress are salivating as much as the dem scum over Sessions fake news.
We the People are being given a block of instruction on how much everyone inside the Beltway thinks we’re fucking retarded

  135. The entire party is apparently devoid of new ideas.

MSNBC’s Ali Velshi asked Dem Congresswoman Barbara Lee whether Dems would help fix Obamacare. She had no answer.

Nothing new here Tex. For the past 25 years all the opposition party does is oppose. They contribute NOTHING.

  136. On the surface, it looks bad, and every one in the administration must guard his/her verbal and political virtue with the determination of Ceaser’s wife.

One of a couple of smart things James has said today. James is a realist, not a GOP fanboy.

  137. “Is that Claire McCasshole thing for real??”

Yes, it’s real. The NYT had her quoted this morning and has since scrubbed it from the story without mentioning the deletion. It just disappeared down the memory hole.

  138. The lying the democrats and their allies are doing takes this to a whole different level.
Genuine opposition to policy is what our warped democracy is all about. Lying and scamming to prevent a functioning government is treason. #killthedemocrats

  139. I was just reviewing one of my early posts. Back in 07 Speaker Pelosi met with Syrias Assad to foster something other than that which the Bush Administration was running. Hypocrisy much?

  140. “On the surface, it looks bad, and every one in the administration must guard his/her verbal and political virtue with the determination of Ceaser’s wife.”

Bullshit. Tailoring language in fear of fake news stories? Nope. Not something that “must” be done.

Be virtuous. Bow to the left for fear of being labeled unvirtuous. . . by the left? Fuck that. Everyone around Trump is a target by the left because they are Trump, the ultimate target, by extension. The label is preordained, and the left just makes shit up to support it.

Seriously. Trump sure as fuck didn’t get elected by guarding his verbal and political virtue. It’s time to push back. Enough is enough.

  141. Rand Paul being denied access to Republican ObamaCare repeal plan, which is being guarded by fucking armed guards.

You sure this isn’t a variation on Geraldo Rivera and Al Capone’s vault?

  142. Met with Russian. Met with Ukrainian. Ceasefire agreement happened.
    Unfuckingbelievable

What’s unbelievable is that the man is doing a piss poor job of defending himself. Has Sessions uttered that timeline to anyone in the past 36 hours?

  143. Back in 07 Speaker Pelosi met with Syrias Assad to foster something other than that which the Bush Administration was running. Hypocrisy much?

I’m not tickled with Nancy’s call for resignation but how is your comment relevant? Did Nancy meet with Assad to get Obama elected?

  144. Tigre stop smoking the weed that Poolman sent you.

Real simple: DC reporters have a deep seated hatred for Trump combined with the desire to be the next Woodward/Bernstein. That’s a toxic brew. Call it fake till you turn blue. This Russian thing ain’t going away any time soon. The question that remains: how many more casualties? Will the Sessions recusal be enough? Or is he next to join Flynn?

Sheeeeut, all they have to do is follow the trail of the Russian ambassador to find out how many stupid Trump associates talked to him. That ambassador is like patient zero in an epidemic that takes everyone down. Every fucker that fat bastard talked to will be under a microscope.

  145. Nancy didn’t have the “right” to engage a foreign leader as she did.
On a more important note however is your apparent conversion to a believer the Russians helped get Trump elected 😕

  146. Although I find him a fumbler I think a lot of folks recognize truth is irrelevant to the dems and their fellow travelers. They are telling blatant lies when they know the truth.
    The comeuppance will be delicious.

  147. “What’s my response to it? I don’t even think you can articulate it.”

You’re right. I can’t. I’ll just quote it: “Mmmmm doggie, looks like Jefferson Beauregard Sessions may be in hot water. I hope Mike Flynn cleared some space in that dog house for a roommate.”

  148. “Tigre stop smoking the weed that Poolman sent you. . . ”

You think you’ve refuted something I’ve said.

    Go back and read, MENSA.

Then you can turn on your MSNBC and slide into your coma. I watched it yesterday morning, and this morning. I know exactly what you;re thinking: what the idiot’s channel tells you to think.

This is shit is stooooopid. But by all means, keep going full force — like Palin caused Gifford’s shooting full force. This dumb Rosskies McCarthyesque bullshit is fake news and it’s gonna backfire.

  149. Appear virtuous because your enemies will use and exaggerate any misdeed or misstatement, no matter how innocent. These people are political murderers who plan to destroy this administration with inuendo and false extrapolation before it begins.

Their plan is for peeling off the advisors one by one to cripple him. They still believe Trump is too stupid to operate without his trusted people.

The republicans cannot afford many mistakes like Sessions’. Democrats dating at least as far back as Ted Kennedy have done worse, but it doesn’t matter to the partisan press. We know what is happening, but most people are too ignorant with short memories to understand.

In time, the slow drip of various accusations will turn them against Trump, if this happens too many times. What I wrote was the truth, not bull shit.

  150. “Jeff Sessions and the Democrats’ Politburo Politics” by Roger Simon.

He and I independently reached the same conclusions.

This distraction will fade after distracting the administration until the next one and the next.

    Truth.

  151. James, I’m talking about kowtowing to the left. The laugh-out-loud Sessions “lie” is running 24 hours a day on MSNBC. Push. Back. On. The. Fake. News.

In the meantime, we can wait for R to defend his new position that the election was “hacked.” He’s armed with gallons of MSNBC and those really enlightening NYT and Post articles. I do not dispute that the libs and lib press won’t stop. They’re all in on this.

The weak-willed of course will accept such startling news as, “what could possible been discussed between a Russian ambassador and [anyone connected to Trump]” to conclude there has been an “election hack.” If that’s not the objective, I’d like to hear it. That’s all that’s being blasted on the usual fake news outlets. And R is my canary in the coal mine. The longer it goes, the more he’ll get swept into it.

    Sessions is a good man.

One need only read the exchange between Sessions and the SNL guy, then turn on MSNBC to see how friggin’ fake this is. But I agree. It won’t stop. They never stop.

James, if you haven’t watched, turn on MSNBC for 15 minutes. Once you’re done retching, see if you can find a need to kowtow to this stupidity.

  152. DC Urban Mons and Dads says Trump’s son spoke to a pro Russian gathering three weeks before the election.

A pro- Russian group organized the dinner in France. It is old news, but Junior’s trip, the fifty thousand dollars he was allegedly paid, and its motivations are waiting in the wings for after the Sessions effort plays out.

  153. “Every fucker that fat bastard talked to will be under a microscope.”

Name the dems who met with him then.

    MSNBC report on that yet?

  154. I watched the process in the service. If a superior wanted to get rid of or punish his men, he collected information no matter how innocent as he twisted interconnected stories to change them into punishment worthy offenses.

Session’s mistake was equivalent to an Airman’s being late to work or getting sun burned on a weekend fishing trip. The officer would create a damning pattern of behavior to achieve his goals.

Sometimes, he didn’t dislike his underlings. He merely needed men for special details, and fake punishment provided the instruments for usually nasty work.

Escape, as from Democrats laid in behaving like Ceasar’s wife.

  155. Oh for fucks sake yes the demcrats are going to jump on every mole and scream cancer. Nobody needs to make sure and throw some makup on every blemish before they leave the house.

    That is bullshit.

  156. “I’m not tickled with Nancy’s call for resignation but how is your comment relevant? Did Nancy meet with Assad to get Obama elected?”

Well, he did ignore his own red lines on the use of chemical weapons, didn’t he? Maybe that was the quid pro quo wink wink

    Prove it wasn’t.

  157. Tigre we don’t have cable, and I have never watched MSNBC except maybe on a restaurant TV. If I watched, I would probably not stop retching as you suggested. If you look at that stuff, you are a better man than I.

I am not suggesting kow towing. I am suggesting that the administration should be careful not to unwittingly help the enemy.

If someone is out to get you through trivial methods like gigging for failing to get a hair cut, you keep your hair short. That is not kow towing. It is saving your strength for later battles.

My superiors felt guilty after what nearly happened to me, and they indulged my later anger. When I shook my fist in a major’s face or pounded the NCOIC’s desk so hard, a cup of coffee tipped over, no one said a thing. I refused to cut my hair so our NCOIC warned me to stay in the hospital at noon, when NCOs prowled the base for members of details. They also hid me in the x-ray room when the colonel visited.

I could have been Hillary or another Democrat today. If you are not favored as I was you don’t give the enemy any more fuel for attack than you have to. Then, if they over react, you can make them look foolish.

  158. Next on the list is VP Mike Pence. Media mounting up attacks of “hypocrisy ” over him having used private email server as governor which was hacked.

  159. @ James not for nothing but you accept that the officer who is so small he needs to build his authority upon lies IS the democrats in this case right? As such the “airmen ” are better served frag’ging the motherfucker.
I never finished Julius Caesar so I’m having a hard time understanding your comment about his wife. Again, not for nothing, but I’m in no mood to have myself or my country sodomized by the Emporer.

  160. According to an old proverb, I think, Julius Caesar divorced his wife. Someone asked him why. She was suspected of doing something wrong, and Julius replied he could no longer associate with her. Even if she was innocent, the notoriaty would taint her and by extension, him.

The Democrats don’t give a damn about Trump’s underling’s miss deeds, and we know the Democrats have done as badly and worse.

Trump does frighten and anger them. They want to get rid of him by sequentially attacking single members of his administration until the scandals, infect Trump and destroy his credibility.

  161. Yes, Alfie, I agree the officer who built his authority upon lies is the Democrats.
Yes, the air men were better served by fragging. A friend tried with a pistol, but other friends subdued him and he spent some time on the mental ward.

A TSGT snapped, and four of us subdued him until he regained his composure. Another air man attacked the squadron commander with a broken beer bottle as he collected his mail late one night.

Killing your superior officer requires dispassionate planning if it is more than an isolated spasm of revenge as I described, and it actually protects the troops.

My trouble came from basically decent men who had reached their limit after repeatedly failing to stop the beasts who were victimizing air men they had sworn to protect. Their scheme to make me a victim with sufficient violence to bring heavier charges and jail time backfired because like a failed fragger they had not planned in enough detail. They converted me into what Democrats enjoy with half of the country and the press, because they felt guilty for nearly getting me killed. Like Democrats, I could do little wrong for the last of my tour.

As I left the base for America and civilian life, I wore my service ribbons backward as an act of defiance. The commander came to the hospital to say good bye and someone teased me about my ribbons. The commander laughed and said “I really don’t think he cares.”

Successfully plotting a murder is in some ways like organizing a new business.

I’m with you. If it comes to it, they will not take me alive, and I will send a few to the next world with me. It is not bluster. It is a fact. I don’t believe it will get that bad.

  162. “Name the dems who met with him then.

    MSNBC report on that yet?”

LOL. They’re not done offering a picture of the ambassador with spoke-like lines to pictures of republicans. You see, there’s no legitimate business to be conducted meeting with or speaking with an ambassador, so it must be “election hacking.” The grand conspiracy has occurred. Anything that doesn’t contradict it is more proof of its existence.

Heed R’s warnings and beware. You ignore the fake news at your peril!

  163. On a more important note however is your apparent conversion to a believer the Russians helped get Trump elected

Au contraire!!! I think Hillary was a lousy candidate. Wikileaks was the least of her problems. I’d put “deplorables” and failure to visit Wisconsin as high in the top ten reasons.

That said, I have no reason to doubt Russia engineered the Podesta leak. If multiple IC orgs say it, why should I doubt it?

Should Russia be trying to influence our election? Of course they should. I’m sure we pipe in on foreign elections all the time, not to mention our overt involvement in the overthrow of sovereign states.

The press wants two things: establish a connection between Trump campaign and Russian hacking and then establish the connection as criminal, leading to an attempt to impeach.

  164. You’re right. I can’t. I’ll just quote it:

That was humor dumbass. Would you not agree Sessions was in hot water or do recusals happen everyday?

  165. “That was humor dumbass. Would you not agree Sessions was in hot water or do recusals happen everyday?”

Hey shit head, yes they do. In the community, all the fucking time. DId you hear why he decided to recuse himself or were you still watching your MSNBC on TiVo for a second time?

Hot water because the lib media is pitching a fit? Yeah. Palin was in “hot water” when Giffords got shot too. Remember that one MENSA?

  166. Go back and read, MENSA.

LOL you’re a doofus. You (and possibly Alfie) are confusing my analysis with what keeps me up at night.

I don’t give a flying fuck about Russia. I’m just telling you the media is not gonna let the thing go and the administration is doing a terrible job of handling it.

  167. “I don’t give a flying fuck about Russia. I’m just telling you the media is not gonna let the thing go and the administration is doing a terrible job of handling it.”

There’s nothing to “handle.” Just your usual dumb MSNBC bullshit. We all better look the fuck out. 😆

Oh. And don’t go to Ace’s page. It has stuff from all over the internet.

    You guys are clowns.

  168. Appear virtuous because your enemies will use and exaggerate any misdeed or misstatement, no matter how innocent.

Don’t waste your breath James. El Tigre is addicted to fuck you swagger. That’s why he will never be a political operative. He thinks optics don’t matter (unless it’s lib optics).

  169. Well, he did ignore his own red lines on the use of chemical weapons, didn’t he? Maybe that was the quid pro quo wink wink
    Prove it wasn’t.

    Actually a very valid point.

  170. “Don’t waste your breath James. El Tigre is addicted to fuck you swagger. That’s why he will never be a political operative. He thinks optics don’t matter (unless it’s lib optics).”

    Quite the opposite, MENSA.

What you are seeing is the left coming apart at the seems, and Rutherford predictably thinking the right “optics” to correct that is what you are witnessing with Sessions and that mysterious figure the call. . . .dum, dum duuuuhhhmmm. . . ambassador.

Trump is winning and you critique the “optics” that make it so. 😆

    So dumb.

  171. James, all Anne Boleyn had to do was wink at another man (she was never actually unfaithful) plus not bear a son, and Henry cut her head off.

To paraphrase an old saying I heard growing up “avoid the appearance of evil”.

  172. Let the mocking begin!!!!!

    This is gonna get good.

R may lose his dignity but will surely have his “optics.”

  173. Hot water because the lib media is pitching a fit? Yeah. Palin was in “hot water” when Giffords got shot too. Remember that one MENSA?

I may save typing time and just keep posting that Bugs video.

Palin suffered NOTHING but a bit of bad press. US AG’s DONT recuse themselves every day of the week and as I recall Lynch’s recusal wasn’t enough to get you hard. You wanted resignation.

If recusal was a matter of course Sessions would have done it without media pressure.

    You’re a partisan maroon.

  174. Just your usual dumb MSNBC bullshit.

MSNBC ain’t the issue jackass. The NY Times and Washington Post are competing for the Pulitzer. Try reading what I write in the comments instead of spewing your simplified version of what you WANTED me to say.

  175. Trump is winning and you critique the “optics” that make it so. 😆
    So dumb.

LOL Holy shit. Do you know that sentence read just like one of his tweets?

    You’re too much.

The only thing you’re saying that makes the least bit of sense is the media (not just MSNBC but the whole fucking lib media establishment) may fail in taking Trump down.

But I’m 100% right that that is their mission for the next four years and they will be relentless.

  176. Lynch didnt recuse herself, dumbass.

Leftie’s like Lynch and Kagan and RBG don’t recuse themselves when they should but Sessions recusing himself was not the big win Rutherford thinks it was.

He doesn’t know what winning is any more than Clinton does.

  177. Au contraire!!! I think Hillary was a lousy candidate. Wikileaks was the least of her problems. I’d put “deplorables” and failure to visit Wisconsin as high in the top ten reasons.

She lost because even predictable DemCong voters knew they couldn’t trust her. The fact that she reminds America of all the traits they despise in their Ex-wives was just icing on the top.

  178. As for this Sessions thing, it’s a classic nothingburger, and no matter the garnish or the condiments the DemCong and the media put on it, it will STILL be a nothingburger.

I realized earlier this week that we cannot agree that we all want what is good for the Country because we can no longer agree on what IS good for the Country.

As long as the DemCong want to ignore reality, math, and history, we will be unable to come to consensus.

  179. R, how do you grade the “optics” of the left and its media?

They spend 75% of their time either lying or crying “wolf!” And you fail to understand that I am one of the few libs who will put it as high as 75%.

The press is catering to millions of people. You don’t get it. You think non-stop Trump watch would be occurring if it didn’t sell?

  180. As long as the DemCong want to ignore reality, math, and history, we will be unable to come to consensus.

Yeah it’s all the Dems fault. Great start toward solution building. 🙄

  181. “If recusal was a matter of course Sessions would have done it without media pressure.”

Yep. It figures you don’t understand recusal, what Sessions said, nor the fact that it represents no victory whatsoever to anyone with a brain, which excludes you.

And to prove the point, look out. . . here comes MENSA again:

“S AG’s DONT recuse themselves every day of the week and as I recall Lynch’s recusal wasn’t enough to get you hard. You wanted resignation.”

  182. Crickets, I tell you! Nothing but crickets from Rutherford and poolman about the Jew hating Bernie supporter anti-women left wing BLM fake news disgraced journalist arrested in connection with making threats of a “”Jewish Newtown.”

  183. “The press is catering to millions of people. You don’t get it. You think non-stop Trump watch would be occurring if it didn’t sell?”

Yes. Fake news caters to millions of libs. I hadn’t considered that. 🙄

  184. “Lynch didnt recuse herself, dumbass.

Leftie’s like Lynch and Kagan and RBG don’t recuse themselves when they should but Sessions recusing himself was not the big win Rutherford thinks it was.

He doesn’t know what winning is any more than Clinton does.”

I should’ve read through before jumping to the comments box. You stole my heat.

  185. “MSNBC ain’t the issue jackass. The NY Times and Washington Post are competing for the Pulitzer. Try reading what I write in the comments instead of spewing your simplified version of what you WANTED me to say.”

It’s YOUR problem. It’s your window on the world. You watch and repeat it to a nauseating extent.

The NYT and the Post are competing for the Obama Nobel Peace Prize of journalism.

Try reading what I write instead of spewing your simplified version of what you wanted me to say, dumbfuck.

  186. Yeah it’s all the Dems fault. Great start toward solution building. 🙄

When they quit proposing things they don’t have the authority to do, when they quit pretending that “self-identification” trumps biology, and when they finally figure out that communism and socialism eventually fail because you run out of other people’s money, then we might be able to have a discussion about “solution building”. Until then, they can engage in ground glass enemas for all I care.

  187. “Crickets, I tell you! Nothing but crickets from Rutherford and poolman about the Jew hating Bernie supporter anti-women left wing BLM fake news disgraced journalist arrested in connection with making threats of a “”Jewish Newtown.”

Muffy, I torture myself with NPR every morning.

A few days ago they blabbed on that while what Trump said in his speech was fine and dandy, they have concerns that when he met with some governors about this stuff he said we have to at least consider that some of these events are done by the left.

Governor So and So, in an interview, was beside himself over that comment, particularly with Jewish bomb threats.

I told myself in two days, Trump will be proven right again and NPR will be suddenly bored of this topic. Two days later….NPR wasn’t interested in this topic anymore.

  188. Session’s inadequate answer helped cause this, but if the Republicans are as determined as they should be they can blow this out of the water.

PJ media says Obama arranged the meeting between Sessions and the Russian ambassador. Several Democrats have also incriminated themselves by now.

Sessions could have avoided some of this had he been more honest, but if the Republicans play this right, it will be as though they trapped the Democrats.

  189. James…..if that PJ piece is legit this is going to be hilarious. As sure as the tide comes in….Rutherford will be spitting and studdering out some sort of mea culpa about how he got played AGAIN.

  190. Obama Engineered an Obama-Friendly Lawyer to Succeed Sessions In Case Sessions Had to Recuse Himself -Ace 7:22pm post

  191. I hope Trump boobie traps the entire Excutive Branch with moles, pro Trump spies, leakers and saboteurs for the next Dem administration.

    Lets get it on!

Rip the roof off this bitch.

Maybe the soft civil war will spill onto the streets too!

    Hope and Change!

  192. “Crickets, I tell you!”

I looked multiple times today and it was never a leading story on CNN.com. And they are twisting in knots trying to minimize it.

  193. Obama’s party loses the election.
Obama starts changing policies to shield potential leakers
Obama sets up potential for meeting between Sessions (and who knows who else) and Russians
Obama sets up lawyers to succeed Sessions (and who knows who else) when needed
Leaks spring up about meetings with Russians
    Sessions recuses himself

Please tell us all again who exactly are the losers in this optics game. Because this is starting to look pretty fucking bad for the cock sucker Obama.

Lock his ass up in the cell next to Hillary.

  194. Can an ex-president cite executive privilege?
Can a sitting president override a past claim of executive privilege?

    Burn this bitch down, Donnie!

  195. Tigre I’ll add another item to the liberal bad optics list: celebrities regarded as political experts. Two cases in point: Chris Matthews hosts a post-address panel show with Rob Reiner and Kathy fucking Griffin. Really?

Second case: tonight Bill Maher is interviewing CNN conservative Jeffrey Lord and making an ass of himself. Doesn’t understand the difference between an AOL server and a home brew basement server and thinks Russia hacked the election. A man who should have stuck to dick jokes thinks he’s a 21st century Lenny Bruce.

  196. Rutherford, this entire ordeal is bad liberal optics.

Mark my (and everyone else here) words..you guys will come out the losers by the end of this.

  197. Since the subject came up, I was a political operative for a couple of years.

I wouldn’t doubt it. In this thread alone you’ve shown more understanding of effective political communication than Tigre.

  198. Sessions could have avoided some of this had he been more honest, but if the Republicans play this right, it will be as though they trapped the Democrats.

But I doubt they will. Republicans and the Trump admin in particular prove incapable smart defense. The fault is a mixture of swagger and stupidity.

  199. Rutherford will be spitting and studdering out some sort of mea culpa

I’ll be doing nothing of the kind. You and Tigre have manufactured my position cos you just thrive on the fight. It’s all you come here for. I’m not defending the media. Stop fighting the argument you want me to make and read what I said.

Sessions gave Franken an answer that simultaneously empowers his friends and foes. Had his answer been more precise, his foes would have no ammo.

And AGAIN, the media which wants the end of Trump will pounce on any opening.

Let’s see if the GOP is smart enough to lay this on Obama and not let PJ Media do it for them. Have Paul Ryan say it on Face the Nation. FTN viewers don’t read PJMedia.

Now go back to arguing with yourself.

  200. Sessions was not being “dishonest.”

He was being imprecise in A SENATE HEARING.

I swear to fucking God – do you or don’t you rely on the English language in your profession??? Do you not look for openings in an opponents deposition? Seriously. DAMN!!!!

  201. Obama sets up potential for meeting between Sessions (and who knows who else) and Russians

OMFG You hate this man so much that you’re now saying he deliberately entrapped Sessions? Are you for real?

  202. “He was being imprecise in A SENATE HEARING.”

    LOL. Uh, yeah.

Oh, I see, you types that in ALL CAPS.

  203. “I’ll be doing nothing of the kind. You and Tigre have manufactured my position cos you just thrive on the fight. It’s all you come here for. I’m not defending the media. Stop fighting the argument you want me to make and read what I said.”

Just read it. Exactly as I remember. Touched off by calling the left assclowns, and mention that Ace had full quote and Mccaskill.

That touched off your stream of smug MSNBC-induced lectures to pretty much everyone about the horrors you uncovered in the fake news pieces.

No position but, “don’t go to Ace if the information is all over the internet,” and “I agree with James” all presented in juvenile logic of the wee-weed up Rutherford we are all familiar with.

    Heavy. Duty.

Sorry I insulted your friends. 😆

  204. If the Republicans had been as smart as Rutherford writes they should be, they could have collected the incriminating evidence of Obama’s role in this and the Democrats’ forgotten meetings with Russians.

Then, Sessions could have given his answer as Republicans waited for the fire storm. After a day, Republicans could have counter attacked for maximum effect.

  205. Trump moves to implement Putin agenda: Calls for 12th aircraft carrier, dramatic expansion of domestic energy production.

    It’s so OBVIOUS!!

  206. Damn Obama was dirty…I don’t mean like his wife, an animal. I mean a thuggish, jackbooted, vindictive, preening bastard. One wonders what Obama would have done with the military power had the military had an ounce worth of respect for Dear Leader.

  207. Sure, Obama is still the problem. 🙄 These supposed conservatives are projecting their continuing failures on his interference. Funny if they weren’t serious. The problem is the institutions established by both are corrupt and decaying. Trust any at your own peril. Literally.

In the case of medicine, a lot of information has emerged showing just how much corruption really goes on. The Editors-in-Chiefs of several major medical journals have been quite blunt, with perhaps one of the best examples coming from Dr. Richard Horton, the current Editor-in-Chief of The Lancet, who says, “The case against science is straightforward: much of the scientific literature, perhaps half, may simply be untrue.”

Dr. Marcia Angell, a physician and longtime Editor-in-Chief of the New England Medical Journal (NEMJ), also considered one of the most prestigious peer-reviewed medical journals in the world, alongside The Lancet, has said that “it is simply no longer possible to believe much of the clinical research that is published, or to rely on the judgment of trusted physicians or authoritative medical guidelines. I take no pleasure in this conclusion, which I reached slowly and reluctantly over my two decades as an editor of The New England Journal of Medicine.”

John Ioannidis, an epidemiologist at the Stanford University School of Medicine, published an article titled “Why Most Published Research Findings Are False,” which subsequently became the most widely accessed article in the history of the Public Library of Science (PLoS).

    Here is another great quote:

“The medical profession is being bought by the pharmaceutical industry, not only in terms of the practice of medicine, but also in terms of teaching and research. The academic institutions of this country are allowing themselves to be the paid agents of the pharmaceutical industry. I think it’s disgraceful.”

    – Arnold Seymour Relman (1923-2014), Harvard professor of medicine and former Editor-in-Chief of The New England Medical Journal

100,000 people in the United States die each year from the side effects of correctly used prescription drugs, noting that “it’s remarkable that nobody raises an eyebrow when we kill so many of our own citizens with drugs.”

    http://www.collective-evolution.com/2017/03/01/peer-reviewed-science-losing-credibility-as-large-amounts-of-research-shown-to-be-false/

  208. “But would we want to interrupt the left from its fine job of exposing itself?”

The left is exposing itself but what Trump understands is that the left cannot be allowed to freely control the narrative. Look no further than Ben Rhodes’ tweet in reply to Trump this morning. They cloak their lies so well they’ve got half the country fooled. More than that considering the stupid morons in the GOP driving the getaway car for them.

  209. Rutherford, it’s not about how much I hate Obama. It’s about how much he hates anyone that doesn’t think like he does. Which is 1/2 of the country.

He’s involved in this. I told you that from the start. And since I made that claim, we’ve found more to suggest he’s culpable than we have that says he isn’t. He isn’t smart enough to have engineered this himself. But he is the one who had the power to make it happen. I’m confident that will be exposed before this is over. We’re already seeing it.

  210. Lately hating Obama is just common good sense.

Seriously, “you just hate Obama” is a pathetic defense of a dirty politician. It’s no more substantive than calling you a racist.

For when you have nothing else.

  211. Like Huck, I and others have noticed that Obama and his brain trust are responsible for many of the administration’s troubles. Valery Jarret has moved in with the Obamas, and the ex pres has like out of power Europeans organized a shadow government.

Sami singer Sofia Jannok called him a foreign occupier, and she was right. He is a blight on our nation.

Obama and whomever is pulling his strings is using intimidation and false news worthy of Soviet Pravda to win what an election failed to deliver.

I don’t hate Obama. It is a waste of energy, but I know what he is.

  212. Lately hating Obama is just common good sense.

How is that? I seriously hope you aren’t in a position to influence children with your hate casting.

There are things to hate and people often do those things. Maybe it’s his role you hate. People may be the instrument, but they are not the source of evil just as they are not the source of good. Hate the crime not the criminal like hate the sin not the sinner.

People tend to put a face on what they hate. A scapegoat is a useful tool in society. I think that will be bobo’s role for some time going forward. He will always have his blind and a paid following, just as any other celebrity or vip in society. His presence provides the necessary political balance to icons of the right. The clinton is getting on in years.

  213. Just read it. Exactly as I remember.

Nah. Once my name appears in a comment the white noise starts in your head. You go into your MSNBC mantra zen zone and when you’re done “reading” you come out of it and write irrelevant snark.

It’s evident by how seldom you deal with what I actually said vs your paraphrase of what I said.

  214. If the Republicans had been as smart as Rutherford writes they should be …

In addition, James, Trump could have said to all staffers and former campaign operatives “I want a tick-tock of every interaction with Russian contacts on my desk by Monday for release to the Failing New York Times.”

When there’s nothing to hide, you go on the offensive and be as transparent as possible. The drip drip hurts. Yet they never learn. Always the drip drip. Hillary died of a thousand small cuts.

THEN after you do full disclosure you move on to pointing out the hypocrisy of your opponent.

If you do the second first, it just looks like a dodge. “I know you are but what am I?” “I’m rubber, you’re glue …”.

  215. Poolman, other than their being plain annoying, I find something sinister in the constant barrage of pharma ads on TV. As your long post suggests, the cart is leading the horse.

  216. Obama and whomever is pulling his strings is using intimidation and false news worthy of Soviet Pravda to win what an election failed to deliver.

Without arguing with the premise, that juxtaposition of Obama and Russia is irony at its best.

  217. ‘Nah. Once my name appears in a comment the white noise starts in your head. You go into your MSNBC mantra zen zone and when you’re done “reading” you come out of it and write irrelevant snark.” -R

“LOL You’re the clown. The “actual question and answer” is all over the internet.” -R

LOL. We now know you think the left will keep at it, and you agree with James.

    As I said.

    Thanks for your insight.

    Again, Heavy. Duty.

  218. Trump is a fucking master at this. He tweets what I believe he got from a Breitbart story and now everyone will chase this dog and forget about Sessions (he hopes).

I’ll find the story for you old Tigre. Heaven forbid you read any fake news. Breitbart RULES!!!

  219. After his stream of Obama=Nixon tweets, Trump tweets this. Yeah, we are in the best of hands.

  220. Ah Yes. MENSA answers a rhetorical question.

Thanks. I almost went to Ace without knowing the story was elsewhere. 😆

  221. Alfie, I wouldn’t want to be in your head right now. You seem conflicted as hell. One minute condemning the GOP, the next calling Dems fascist.
I’m not conflicted at all. I rightfully condemned the GOP earlier as it is ever more apparent that a number of them are more than willing to work against Trump and the American People let alone one another. Examples include tentacles of shit bagginess emanating from McCain,McConnell,Cornyn,Graham and Ryan. The “touched” include the policies from the Trump Administration on economic and border security points. Add Rand Paul getting worked on the healthcare issue. Ultimately I’m less than impressed on the GOP’s appreciation that the (D)’s are running roughshod over appointments.Obviously there is more.
As for the democrats I didn’t call them fascists.I said they are showing how fascism comes to America. The Republicans were obstructionists against a fully assembled and speedily approved Cabinet, more importantly they were ultimately obstructionists against policy. The Democrats are intentionally and maliciously putting democracy itself in the path of the their bulldozer. The Democrats are building an active shadow government that is operating counter to the expressed desire of We the People and the LAW. The ramifications are clear. FASCISM

  222. MENSA answers a rhetorical question.

I can see why you answered in the form of a question, Alex Trebek. Since there’s no airtight proof it ever happened.

  223. @ RUTHERFORD Do you believe there is evidence that there is definite shadowy dealings happening and that they began before the election?

  224. “I can see why you answered in the form of a question, Alex Trebek. Since there’s no airtight proof it ever happened.”

Oh. My mistake. Let me know when you and “airtight proof” make the introduction.

  225. Alfie I think this dumpster fire stretches far and deep.

My “positive” spin is that when Trump won an election no one thought he would win, the Obama admin went into a panic and secured as much dirt as they could. I rationalize this by thinking they did their patriotic duty to protect the country from a man with no business in the Oval. Quite frankly, this approach was tame considering some alternatives. I don’t lie when I say I watched the inauguration with the distinct possibility that a “patriotic” secret service agent would go rogue and kill the new POTUS on national TV – or even before the oath was finished.

My only gripe with Tigre is the wholesale acceptance that O tried to tap Trump. I want more proof. Just as we all need proof that Sessions took perfectly reasonable exchanges with the Russians and crossed the line into discussing Trumps candidacy.

  226. “I can see why you answered in the form of a question, Alex Trebek. Since there’s no airtight proof it ever happened.”

Who needs proof? Evidence is secondary to optics. You and James said so.

  227. Who cares where Trump got information from? There’s 8 years worth of stuff Obama didn’t know about until he read it in the papers.

  228. “I rationalize this by thinking they did their patriotic duty to protect the country from a man with no business in the Oval. Quite frankly, this approach was tame considering some alternatives.”

Rutherford told us long ago he was fine with Obama as a dictator because it is what we need.

  229. Evidence is secondary to optics. You and James said so.

This shouldn’t be a Rorschach test. Franken’s question was specific. Sessions should have repeated Franken’s words back to him and answered precisely about folks in the Trump campaign. Not only was he imprecise, he inserted himself into the answer when Franken actually didn’t ask about Sessions conduct specifically.

The more I see the tape, the more I think Sessions was being a casual, laid back, sloppy wise ass. Not a good idea if you might later get accused of perjury.

Hey Huck did you or anyone else notice Tigre never answered my question about exploiting holes in the opposition’s testimony? That’s cause the mofo doesn’t actually read the comment. It’s white noise and then regurgitate some stupidity about MSNBC.

  230. Rutherford told us long ago he was fine with Obama as a dictator because it is what we need.

I would remind you that extremism in the defense of liberty is no vice! And let me remind you also that moderation in the pursuit of justice is no virtue. – Barry Goldwater.

  231. So you find election results contrary to the idea of liberty and justice?

“This shouldn’t be a Rorschach test. Franken’s question was specific.”

Who cares about Franken? The topic my comment is part of is Trump’s accusation he was bugged. He doesn’t need proof, he just needs the accusation. If he can find a few unnamed sources to back it up, then we’ve got enough bad optics to think about full investigations.

I told you days ago things were headed in this direction.

  232. I took your earlier comment as mocking the optics observation, not supporting it.

To answer you specifically, yes both Trump and his enemies are throwing around suggestions to undermine the other.

The charge against Obama merits investigation not summary dismissal. Same goes for Trump campaign.

  233. The more I see the tape the more I find Sessions specifically and deliberately made it a point not to answer Frankens trap question in the affirmative.
franked wanted Sessions to implicate himself in the fake news Trump worked with Russian intelligence, fucking guy even quoted CNN false stories numerous times.
Should Sessions have volunteered information that he along with many Senators including those from across the aisle had met with the fat fuck the US IC deem a KGB recruiter? I say no! When questioned in the context that you’re a “surrogate” for a candidate you’re being dishonestly implicated in something. The actions of Jeff Sessions as a Senator was NOT THE QUESTION

  234. The IC being weaponized against the opposing political party is grotesque. The probable cause better be a shocker.

  235. I am mocking it.

I am showing how others can play this absurd game using your rules.

When optics replaces evidence, anyone and everyone can be a suspect for anything.

It’s not only democracy that is being killed here, it’s the idea of innocent until proven guilty.

On the plus side…Obama said he wanted to fundamentally transform America. And damned if he isn’t doing it.

  236. The actions of Jeff Sessions as a Senator was NOT THE QUESTION

You haven’t gone far enough. The actions of Jeff Sessions was NOT THE QUESTION. He unnecessary inserted himself in the answer.

  237. how you can spin Obama’s actions as “patriotic”. What he set into motion is TREASON

What actions are you taking about? Members of Obama’s various IC entities have every right to distribute intelligence among themselves so long as it remains secure. The goal was to disperse so there could not be one batch destroyable by the Trump admin. Not treason. Protecting evidence. Completely legit.

The wire tapping is a different kettle of fish.

  238. Huck please don’t get Pollyanna on me. Innocent until proven guilty is a legal concept. It has never reflected human reality. When the average dude gets arrested we assume he did the deed.

  239. “Hey Huck did you or anyone else notice Tigre never answered my question about exploiting holes in the opposition’s testimony? ”

Hey, “anyone else,” I’ve asked Rutherford 2 or 3 times how he rates the lefty media’s “optics” and he hasn;t answered it.

R, what the fuck is your question? It’s gibberish. Try again. Something about being imprecise versus “lying” or “dishonesty.” What’s your question in English? I’d guess it’s something about license to mischaracterize a response and the circumstances of the response as being something that we’re all supposed to get wee-weed up about, but you’ve said you’re not going there. So try again, and try answering my multiple requests for a response to a no-brainer if you have a point. So far, I all I know is saying that the whole question and answer was published at Ace is LOL because. . . something or another. . . MSNBC. . . duh.

  240. Not only did I answer you Tigre, I answered twice. Like I said, you don’t actually read what I write.

    Scroll up genius to:

  241. Tex, I did see your comment way up there about the movie. I watched a trailer and it looks interesting. I’m always looking to add to my movie list, even if it takes me a forever to watch them all. Thanks for the recommendation.

Have any of you watched the Hulu series, The Path, starring Aaron Paul from Breaking Bad? It’s in its 2nd season and I think they have the whole 1st season on Youtube. I’m thinking about giving it a watch.

I really like what these Internet-based companies are doing with finding quality original programming. Netflix has several original series I like a lot. I rarely watch traditional network TV anymore. It just doesn’t hit as hard as what I am growing to expect from my television viewing. They have far too many constraints and obligations that non-network programmers don’t have to deal with.

  242. “Not only did I answer you Tigre, I answered twice. Like I said, you don’t actually read what I write.”

    No you didn’t.

Please complete my sentence. We are talking about Sessions.

How about that nonsense you call a question? What are you asking????

    I’ll wait.

  243. The goal was to disperse so there could not be one batch destroyable by the Trump admin. Not treason. Protecting evidence. Completely legit.

Are you smoking some of that South Side Chi-town crack???
Dude its totally treasonous action of establishing a shadow government usurping the will of the People.
I’ve been reviewing a lot of history the past few weeks and I think it safe to say we’re bordering an unprecedented time in our nations existence. I’ve found a lot of interesting comparisons to a number of headline topics which is why I still go with “bordering”. That said Obama’s behind the scenes moves during the transition I think are over the border line.

  244. I have to say that Trump is being vindicated in a number of unexpected places on a number of policy points.
The left leaning architects and engineer guilds were adamant that none of their members should participate in the border wall. Well almost 200 companies have submitted proposals or letters of intent which is pretty amazing since the official call for bids has not been issued.
On NATO the Euroweenies are facing a major epiphany that the 2% GDP mandate isn’t an arms race or war mongering. Its the base one needs to maintain a remotely functioning military. The UK which spends the 2 have done so badly. For the next two years the RN will likely not be fully armed and when it finally deploys its new carrier it will not be properly staffed, armed or complemented. Germany is having a fit over how deep the earlier budget cuts have decimated its modest force capabilities. I dare say France,Spain and Italy are in similar straits although those countries have realigned their militaries to meet domestic needs better.
On crime and justice the refreshing take by both Trump and Sessions that focuses on black folks having the right to live with a sense of security has many folks trying to figure out a way to twist the truth. Go figure a big mouth from NYC and a guy from Alabama seemingly care more about blacks getting gunned down than Lynch,Obama & Holder ever did. lol
Some real good could be rolling out for America if we’d lose the fake.

  245. @ Tex I’m torn between whether the former Obamanites are evil scum determined to undermine America or just purely childish twats whining that every bit of their dog shit legacy is going to be exposed and eliminated.

  246. Pro- and Anti-Trump protesters clashed today in multiple cities as Trump supporters held rallies across the country. In Berkeley, both sides came armed and engaged each other, while police in riot gear stood and watched. Pro-Trump people had clubs and pepper spray, but it wasn’t enough to protect an elderly man, who was hit over the head and kicked while he was on the ground.

Reuters tries to minimize things by stating, “In many towns and cities, the rallies did not draw more than a few hundred people.” Well, in many towns and cities the pussy marches didn’t draw more than a few hundred people, either. A group of a few hundred people marching in favor of Trump in various places across the country is no small thing.

  247. Alfie, there is only one government at a time and during transition that government was the Obama administration. They had every right to take legally valid measures to protect a potential investigation from compromise.

Now, if Obama is currently involved in some shadow government action, then we do have a problem. Frankly, I think he and Michelle are busy writing books to justify that record breaking book deal they just got.

  248. Go figure a big mouth from NYC and a guy from Alabama seemingly care more about blacks getting gunned down than Lynch,Obama & Holder ever did.

Whether Trump and Sessions “care” is purely conjecture and quite frankly irrelevant. I’ll judge them by results and I confess it would be hard for them to do worse than the Obama/Holder/Lynch combo.

  249. “Now, if Obama is currently involved in some shadow government action, then we do have a problem. Frankly, I think he and Michelle are busy writing books to justify that record breaking book deal they just got.”

And his live-in political strategist is simply there to help with notes, right? I know you aren’t really this naive.

  250. A group of a few hundred people marching in favor of Trump in various places across the country is no small thing.

Agreed. A quip Trump made at CPAC cracked me up. He told the audience to sit down or else the press wouldn’t report he got a standing ovation.

  251. This business of Valerie Jarrett living with them is news to me. That trilateral relationship has always seemed odd to me. More likely some ménage a troi than any shadow government.

  252. Clapper refuses to order an investigation, gives a Sessions-like statement that he wasn’t “aware” of any orders to surveil the Trump campaign, yet there isn’t a single person denying the issuance of a FISA order to do exactly that. Everyone is quick to say they didn’t order it or know about it, but nobody is flat out denying its existence.

    Optics

The real brilliance of Trump’s claim is that it now calls into question the legality of ALL evidence that Team trump colluded with the Russians. Last I heard the way evidence is obtained is kind of a big deal.

  253. “This business of Valerie Jarrett living with them is news to me.”

This comment is screaming for an “I guess MSNBC forgot to mention it” but I’ll save that for ET 😀

  254. The real brilliance of Trump’s claim is that it now calls into question the legality of ALL evidence that Team trump colluded with the Russians. Last I heard the way evidence is obtained is kind of a big deal.

Nope. Let’s start with Clapper. Lied to Congress so anything he says pro or anti Obama we toss out the window.

What is subject to debate is NOT whether the wiretap was legally obtained. It is whether it happened at all. If they did do the tap via a FISA court or some other means it calls into question the unprecedented surveillance of a political opponent but not the legality of the evidence obtained.

We can say Obama was a schmuck for doing it but that’s not the same as saying the evidence won’t hold up in court.

  255. Lynch is now free to be overtly political as opposed to covertly political as she was as AG.

Regarding Poolman’s truthstream video. She isn’t being censored. She’s being prevented from making a buck off her videos. There’s a difference.

  256. I would rate the media optics as [insert metric] because [insert reason].

You are truly mental. I gave you your metric. 75% false alarm or simply lying.

    Because? Because they skew left.

You’re starting to remind of the stammering attorney in Cousin Vinny.

  257. “Replace MSNBC with “every reputable lib media source” and you’d be correct.”

Which sounds like it isn’t news to you, you just choose not to believe it.

  258. Which sounds like it isn’t news to you, you just choose not to believe it.

Depends on the story. That’s part of the answer to Tigre. The media has so compromised itself that it’s hard to separate truth from fiction.

  259. “Depends on the story.”

C’mon Mr. Sessions. Your answers are giving you some bad optics

WTF story are we discussing that you claim not to have heard but seem to know nobody you believe is talking about?

You’ve already been checkmated on this. Just stop.

  260. WTF story are we discussing that you claim not to have heard

The business of Jarrett cohabitating with the Obamas. I’m starting to miss your point.

I think it’s time to get “optics” out of the conversation. Sessions’ testimony wasn’t bad optics. It was just plain stupid. He answered a question that wasn’t asked. As I said before, he was being too “cute” by half and he got burned.

  261. You qualified who isn’t discussing it, which means you know who is, which means the story isn’t news to you.

    How are missing that point?

  262. “You make up something and then you have the press write about it, and then you say, ‘everybody’s writing about this charge,'” House Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi said on CNN’s”

Remember way back in January when CNN defended running a story that ended up being bullshit, saying that they weren’t reporting the bullshit, just that the bullshit had been discussed and that they were reporting on the discussion?

  263. You qualified who isn’t discussing it, which means you know who is

Ah well there you got me. I’m ASSUMING who’s discussing it. I’ve only seen it discussed in this thread. I assumed it came from Breitbart/Hot Air/PJMedia/Bill Whittle. And you’re right. I don’t put much stock in those sources.

Now I’ve gotta review the thread. Did I miss an actual link to the Jarrett live-in situation?

  264. “If they did do the tap via a FISA court or some other means it calls into question the unprecedented surveillance of a political opponent but not the legality of the evidence obtained.”

Not of the request itself was improperly supported/false, or denied yet pursued anyway. FISA is just another avenue to obtain. We know Obama had no problem tapping communications and going after the media and political opponents through various surveillance methods.

  265. If you’re looking for any defense of Pelosi from me, you’re barking up the wrong tree. Evidence doesn’t matter to her. The fact she called for Sessions’ resignation before the story was five minutes old shows she has a screw loose.

  266. “You are truly mental. I gave you your metric. 75% false alarm or simply lying.

    Because? Because they skew left.”

So we are talking about Sessions, and you may shut the fuck up about the “optics” of the right in calling out the fake news. Those bad “optics” are why Trump doesn’t need to react to the liberal media bullshit and push back as I said. If the lib media looks like the fucking clowns they are with Sessions, you talking about how it plays among the mindless rage is just more bullshit. This was my point that periodically claim you are not disputing but then grab yourself when it sounds like I’ve insulted your teevee friends.

  267. Look, if Trump’s typical Twitter vomit amounts to something, we’ve got a real problem on our hands. The burden will be on Obama to show the move was not simply political.

And then we return to the question that I think was posed by Huck. What are the consequences imposed on an ex-President for crimes committed while President?

At the risk of throwing another Molotov cocktail, I’d call for proportionality. If Dick Cheney is a free man after engineering the slaughter of thousands of people, Obama fucking with the host of the Apprentice is truly a nothingburger. 😀

  268. “The fact she called for Sessions’ resignation before the story was five minutes old shows she has a screw loose.”

The fact that that whole Sessions nonsense is totally irrelevant unless it is intended to suggest he was part of a broader effort to “hack the election” (the very headlines), means the story is a non-story. But that is precisely what this is all about. It is the very premise. It makes it the “very serious issue we must get to the bottom of.” As you know, MSNBC has been running with it 24 hours a day without evidence of anything. Just “what could Sessions possibly been talking about but for. . . ” as the grounds for its “all-in” on the inference of wrongdoing and collusion.

And, as to what drew you into this, i.e. my agreement with Alfie that the lib and lib media wind up on the losing side of its stupid feigned Sessions outrage.

Incredibly, the real story is why information appears to be improperly obtained, then leaked, then used to undermine the president — from the prior fucking adminsitration.

  269. “What are the consequences imposed on an ex-President for crimes committed while President?”

A former administration trying to undermine and subvert its successor’s authority is outrageous and perverse, whether a crime or not.

And you focus on whether Sessions was being too “cute.” Gee, I wonder why. 🙄

  270. Tigre I think you mistake my argument as a defense of the media. All I’ve ever said is if you don’t want to be vulnerable to your enemies you don’t give sloppy testimony to a Senate committee. On that limited point, I think James agrees with me and I’m still puzzled why you don’t, particularly since you have more experience with testimony than most of us combined.

  271. “If Dick Cheney is a free man after engineering the slaughter of thousands of people, Obama fucking with the host of the Apprentice is truly a nothingburger. “😀

That is the dumbest thing I have ever read. You are pathetic. Go watch more of your bull shit TV instead of earning a buck for your family on the brink of destitude.

    It’s too dumb to debate.

Debate is over with you cunts.

It’s now a running clock until you people feel the wrath 400,000 patriots without a fuck to give.

It’s so obvious where we are heading.

I should have known the guy who entertained the thought of dictatorship is now playing silly games justifying a de facto coup.

  272. “Tigre I think you mistake my argument as a defense of the media. All I’ve ever said is if you don’t want to be vulnerable to your enemies you don’t give sloppy testimony to a Senate committee. On that limited point, I think James agrees with me and I’m still puzzled why you don’t, particularly since you have more experience with testimony than most of us combined.”

Because I don’t present parade around evidence or testimony that isn’t persuasive to the judge or jury, particularly when it harms my (the advocate’s credibility) more than the object of it. The object is to win the case, not jump up and down because someone misspeaks or says something that’s unintentionally accurate after-the-fact inaccurate concerning something that is immaterial. Thinking that your opponent’s gratification with some kind of “gotcha” doesn’t win cases. It makes the self-satisfaction of the people at your counsel’s table in pointing them out look like shitheads in search of something other than the truth.

And that is the whole point here. You concede that Sessions was “imprecise,” and you’re not on the bandwagon with those that are trying to make a case of perjury. Yet, oh boy, Trump sure needs to be careful or there’ll be more for his opponent to tarnish themselves with. It is also why I said that the Trump cadre needs to “be virtuous” and not kowtow to accusations that the “optics” are bad by those that view his very position and efforts to do his job as malevolent.

    This is not rocket surgery.

If it’s the libbies that harm their own credibility, then you’re not “vulnerable” or need to tailor all of your actions with an eye towards always trying to avoid your opponent’s criticism, which, again, you concede are relentless. You push back — as I said. You tar the other side with their stupidity. You don’t accept admonitions of what it takes to “look good” from those that don’t see their own grotesque reflection in the mirror.

You’re so immersed in all of the liberal bullshit and the more vociferous it is, the more you don’t want to betray the objective. Every single person here has witnessed the MSNBC syndrome concerning the most trivial and outright lame-assed Palin/Giffords type lectures about how the right needs to be so careful or they’ll lose the game among the people that share your sensibilities. Guess what? The left’s sensibilities are why the dems are where they are and play out everyday as an affirmation of the the left’s whole fucked up agenda. That hurts the dems, not Trump.

People that take liberal media seriously and at their peril aren’t going to think any more or less of Trump. They just hope to convince others that their perceptions are right, but it has the opposite effect. Remember how you looked with the Giffords/Palin rage you went into? Pretty fucking embarrassing. But at the time, you’d say “Palin shouldn’t use the imagery of a target because her opponents will accuse her of inciting violence and poor judgment as proof she is unfit.” She suffered none, and you and yours looked like total fucking tool bags.

Know though, that I will never refer anyone here to Ace for information if it can be found elsewhere. Mea culpa.

  273. FRANKEN: CNN has just published a story and I’m telling you this about a news story that’s just been published. I’m not expecting you to know whether or not it’s true or not. But CNN just published a story alleging that the intelligence community provided documents to the president-elect last week that included information that quote, “Russian operatives claimed to have compromising personal and financial information about Mr. Trump.” These documents also allegedly say quote, “There was a continuing exchange of information during the campaign between Trump’s surrogates and intermediaries for the Russian government.”
Now, again, I’m telling you this as it’s coming out, so you know. But if it’s true, it’s obviously extremely serious and if there is any evidence that anyone affiliated with the Trump campaign communicated with the Russian government in the course of this campaign, what will you do?
SESSIONS: Senator Franken, I’m not aware of any of those activities. I have been called a surrogate at a time or two in that campaign and I didn’t have — did not have communications with the Russians, and I’m unable to comment on it.

So not for nothing but where’s the cute? I’m not seeing it. I’m seeing where a US Senator knowingly entered fake news into the proceedings but I do honestly give Franken a nod for admitting it. Sessions saw the context of surrogate and Russians and answered. Is that the part you find cute?
I think you and James need to brush up on how these things go.

  274. I guess the empathetic, Leftist Rutherford, cough cough, doesn’t care about the millions of refugees Dear Leader Obama has left all over this world, including the 200,000 stripped naked an marched by ISIS this week.

Rutherford, I’ve often noticed you don’t trust “all of these sources,” yet have to the best of my knowledge ever been able to refute those sources you don’t trust. Yet I have at least half a dozen times, refuted those sources you call gospel.

You may be the most duplicitous man I have ever read.

  275. “Aaaah Rabbit never saw a grenade he didn’t want to jump on top of. I figured Tigre would take the bait but DR beat him to it.”

So you were trolling. I’m actually relieved.

  276. Regarding Poolman’s truthstream video. She isn’t being censored. She’s being prevented from making a buck off her videos. There’s a difference.

Demonitized. Sucks if you depend on income and exposure a media platform provides but now you can’t get it because the censors decide your content shouldn’t be allowed because of certain key words or phrases. I wonder what censorship means?

    noun
    1. the suppression or prohibition of any parts of books, films, news, etc. that are considered obscene, politically unacceptable, or a threat to security.
“the regulation imposes censorship on all media”

  277. This is not rocket surgery.

😆 I generally like to toke up on some real stinky bud before I go cutting up rockets.

  278. It’s hilarious how many people I am seeing today defend the use of a thing that so many others today are claiming wasn’t used.

If the language in the FISA is such that it allows for its use without providing evidence it is warranted…and if “unnamed sources” say there is evidence that it was warranted…and if unnamed sources say a judge issued it…then why all the denials it was used?

  279. Jarrett story broke in UK Daily Mail. Article also lists how by year end the Obamas will have four residences. Follow the $$$$ or does that only apply to Republicans?

  280. So not for nothing but where’s the cute?

    Here’s the cute:

I have been called a surrogate at a time or two in that campaign and I didn’t have — did not have communications with the Russians

Franken didn’t ask Sessions if HE, who’s “been called a surrogate a time or two” did Jack Squat!!!! He was asked how/if he would pursue investigation into it. Sessions inserted himself into his answer unnecessarily and thereby shifted the focus of the answer from his future behavior to his past behavior.

    That’s a long way of saying he’s a nitwit.

  281. So you were trolling. I’m actually relieved.

Partly. I think Dick Cheney is scum. But that’s irrelevant to whether or not Obama should be held accountable for his own actions.

  282. Sucks if you depend on income and exposure a media platform provides

You had me at funding and lost me at exposure. She still has the uncensored exposure. She now needs to find the funding elsewhere. If she ends each video with “click the donate link below this video to help support our work” and THEN YouTube hassles her, then we can talk about suppression.

  283. I hate it when liars support my suspicions. Clapper says there was no FISA request made re Trump. Unfortunately Clapper is a documented liar who inexplicably was never prosecuted.

  284. Alfie, I’m guessing being President alone made Obama’s two books sell like hot cakes. There’s no reason to doubt he’s a very wealthy man. Not like the Clintons who were “dead broke” when they left the White House 🙄🙄

  285. So here’s a tough dilemma for all you Muslim hating Israel lovers.

I just watched a profile of Marine Le Pen tonight. She wants to ban Muslim head scarfs – and in the back of my head I hear some of you cheering – but THEN she says no wearing of yarmulkes in public either and then I picture you saying “now wait one goddam minute!!!”

How much nationalism is too much? 😀😀😀

  286. I retract that past comment. Clapper gave a much more thorough denial.

What are the chances that Trump has recordings of the alleged taps?

  287. What are the chances that Trump has recordings of the alleged taps?

When he tweeted? Next to none. He read something from Levin or something on Breitbart- guaran-fucking-teed.

By now? Yes by now he may have been given access to the taps as he prepares to defend his statement over the next few days.

But with The Donald, you never know.

  288. Then the taps would be illegal.

Are Breitbart and Levin untrustworthy? I’ll go looking for what Levin said.

  289. Breitbart is of a dubious nature. Supposedly now the mouthpiece of the alt-right although that’s not a hill I’m willing to die on. Don’t know enough.

Levin is a loudmouth whom I would take with a grain of salt.

  290. Levin’s pretty fucking smart, and he really know his Constitutional law. I don’t discount him at all.

    His interview was today.

  291. Breitbart is not of a “dubious” nature. That’s more of your teevee truth brigade exploiting your intellectual laziness, and by extension Bannon, and by extension Trump.

    Raaaacccccccccccciiiiiiiiiiiiiistsss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  292. Makes think Trump has something that nails it down.

I suspect Trump has something similar to what he got from the nonexistent investigators he sent to Hawaii to expose Obama.

How easily we forget what a clown Trump is

  293. I never followed Breitbart all that closely. I watched Andrew talk a bit before he died and he struck me as a truth to power sort of guy. I think his motives may have been more pure than Bannon. But it’s more of a fleeting impression on my part than anything concrete.

  294. Suffering from an acute case of gay fatigue…

Now I understand they’ve had to screw up my favorite Disney flick, Beauty and the Beast.

This past decade with the lie from we just want to be left alone to you’ll either normalize the acceptance or we’ll destroy you, I’ve gone from live and let live, to homo repulsed.

  295. Now I understand they’ve had to screw up my favorite Disney flick, Beauty and the Beast.

What exactly happened? Did they cast Rosie O’Donnell as the beast?

  296. Well, Muffy. Looks like I need to check in on Breitbart more often. The weepy Bubbles Brzezinski and CNN just don’t seem credible anymore. I can’t put my finger on why that is. They’re so emotional I know that they are only interested in “the truth” — they have “senior white house officials” and stuff that tell us we’re doomed for fuck’s sake. When have they ever been wrong when they get weepy and emotional?

Why look at this robust, Pulitzer Prize Winning journalism that one ignores at their peril:

    http://www.cnn.com/2017/03/04/politics/donald-trump-jeff-sessions-reince-priebus/

(p.s. the Legal Insurrection link in the Breitbart piece is a good one too)

  297. “Bannon is an enigma. He terrifies the left. So they make stuff up to get to sleep.”

Huh? They sleep like babies no matter what.

    They just make stuff up.

  298. Alfie, Rutherford and I know how things work. Sessions may have given an accurate answer, but he failed to acknowledge other contacts, the news of which made him look dishonest with something to hide. People believe what they want to believe. Trump’s enemies want to believe Sessions is Trump’s Achillies Heel, or at least they did a few days ago.

  299. So far, the news readers I have heard blame Trump’s eves dropping charges on Brietbart and other conservative sources, but where did they get the information? Perhaps, the New York Times?

  300. “When have they ever been wrong when they get weepy and emotional?

It’s an interesting response to all the “trouble” Schumer assures us that Trump is going to be in for his naughty Tweets. The idea brings a cascade of fresh tears?

I absolutely love how Trump tips over their sacred cows.

  301. “Sessions may have given an accurate answer, but he failed to acknowledge other contacts, the news of which made him look dishonest with something to hide.”

Not to anyone with a brain.

I am really starting to wonder whether you and Rutherford actually read the exchange, even if it were from Ace, or you are just digging your heels in.

While my response to Senator Smalley would have begun with “Was there a question there?”, I think he answered the question he was asked, which is what lawyers do.

There is so much nothingburger in this that we may starve to death waiting for the the Presstitute Corpse to report some nooze.

  303. I never followed Breitbart all that closely. I watched Andrew talk a bit before he died and he struck me as a truth to power sort of guy. I think his motives may have been more pure than Bannon. But it’s more of a fleeting impression on my part than anything concrete.

Andy was a happy warrior and a merry prankster.

I still laugh when I think about how he hijacked Tony Wiener’s Press Conference.

I miss him every single day.

  304. Problem is trolling Arnold and the Apprentice isn’t a sacred cow and weakens the desperately needed zingers while leaving me scratching my head.

  305. Rutherford actually read the exchange, even if it were from Ace, or you are just digging your heels in.

Alfie put the exchange in this thread and I answered it specifically. The only one digging his heels in is you.

But in all seriousness, thanks for the detailed response you gave earlier without snark. I really appreciate it when you attempt to have a productive dialogue. I shall address the comment later.

  306. I think he answered the question he was asked, which is what lawyers do.

He clearly did NOT!!!! WTF are you smoking??? I’m getting tired of this debate as some of you try to convince me green is blue. This is not up for argument. Sessions did not answer the question that was asked and then opened himself up to perjury charges by not being specific.

Period. It’s not fucking fake news or alternative facts. The exchange between them is clear. I am right and either you and Tigre are innocently wrong or deliberately being bullshit artists. Either way it’s getting old.

  307. weakens the desperately needed zingers while leaving me scratching my head.

DR Please wise the fuck up. The man is a loony tune with the temperament of a five year old.

    PLEASE STOP.

  308. Tex’s graphic and Tigre’s tweet are both stupid.

The statement from O’s spokesperson is “no American citizen”. News flash: Angela Merkel is not an American citizen.

As for Tigre’s tweet the evidence Steve Goddard uses doesn’t support his claim. No mention of Trump Tower being tapped nor ordered by Obama. Another news flash: Steve Goddard is a fucking idiot.

  309. Now let’s deal with the truth of Obama’s response. He says no American citizen has been tapped on his watch. I think you guys have said journalists have been tapped.

Links from reputable sources please. That means don’t post shit from World Nut Daily.

  310. “More likely some ménage a troi than any shadow government.”

Another one of your fleeting impressions?

At least if you had posited that perhaps Jarrett was moving in because she lost her security detail it would suggest that some thought goes into these insights of yours.

  311. I’ve said he “wiretapped” journalists and I need to clarify that is inaccurate. What he did was seize their phone records after the fact and in 1 case, get the phone records of a reporter and his parents and give him some designation having to do with espionage or something like that. I’m at work so I can’t get the specifics.

So, I admit my error, which was not intentional. I misunderstood what went on. It was actually clarified by Rosen just this weekend, for me anyway.

  312. “Sessions did not answer the question that was asked and then opened himself up to perjury charges by not being specific.”

Bring the perjury charges then you idiots!!!!!

R, you don’t even know what perjury is. You can;t even make a common sense assessment of the exchange. You need to recuse yourself or resign. Seriously. You’re being a total idiot about this.

  313. “As for Tigre’s tweet the evidence Steve Goddard uses doesn’t support his claim. No mention of Trump Tower being tapped nor ordered by Obama. Another news flash: Steve Goddard is a fucking idiot.”

Then what is being referred to? Do you see the date?

Did you watch the Levin interview or were you just repeating shit again? You directed me to it, and he laid out the reports in order.

But, again, what is being referred to in the NYT?

  314. And for the record, I’m not saying he didn’t wiretap anyone or didn’t wiretap any journalists. I had specific instances in mind the times I made reference to it, and I know know it wasn’t really accurate.

That doesn’t mean I approve of what he did actually do.

  315. Rutherford, the funny part is that in trying so hard to carry water for your beloved party and media, you are making the exact same mistake.

You’re demanding a level of proof that sure as fuck has no application whatsoever to the allegations and calls for an investigation of Trump collusion with the Russians. The very shit that you thin Sessions is “in hot water” for.

Show us your proof or shut the fuck up.

  316. Obama’s (and Rutherford’s) response is strongly qualified. “American citizen” “ordered by Obama”

Such qualifications don’t go unnoticed. It essentially admits people were wiretapped and that some of them might have been Americans. He didn’t have to order it for it to be said “The Obama Administration” did something.

  317. “DR Please wise the fuck up. The man is a loony tune with the temperament of a five year old.”

No way. Too much fun watching Trump play your side’s game. Fucking love it.

  318. The man is a loony tune with the temperament of a five year old.

The irony escapes our resident bi-polar blogger, Peter Pan.

Worse, he’s still operating under the delusion Obama is pure as virgin olive oil. What was Peter saying about loony tunes again?

  319. Hmm…well I’d say seizing phone records counts as surveillance.

He’s also saying he never “interfered with any independent investigation”, which is more qualifying. Which could be to say Americans were wiretapped and otherwise surveilled by agencies within his administration.

  320. Oh, Breitbart pointed out this gem too:

“The second aspect where there were some ludicrous claims included therein, such as the White House never engaging in electronic surveillance of a United States citizen,” he continued. “Well, as Andrew McCarthy and other attorneys have pointed out, and other people familiar with the national security operation have pointed out, Obama drone-bombed American citizens in various foreign locations around the world while he was president, including one in Yemen quite prominently. There’s no way you can actually do that without some form of surveillance on the individuals. It’s not like you had a global map tattooed on the wall, and you took a dart and threw it at the map, and said, ‘Oh, okay, we’ll drone-bomb there.’”

Uh oh. . . . starting to sound like Obama is worse than Sessions.

  321. “He’s also saying he never “interfered with any independent investigation”, which is more qualifying. Which could be to say Americans were wiretapped and otherwise surveilled by agencies within his administration.”

    Yep.

And we don’t see that Obama is correcting the statements.

  322. “Now let’s deal with the truth of Obama’s response. He says no American citizen has been tapped on his watch. I think you guys have said journalists have been tapped.”

Perhaps you should read what he really said.

Then tell us what NYT was referring to since it wasn’t Trump tower or American citizens that were “intercepted.”

And before you go further down the stupid stick, the fact foreigners were targeted is of no moment under FISA rules or anything else related to this. In fact, Obama puffed up the bullshit by laying out the laugh-out-loud claim in the NYT that Obama was so worried about the info that he wanted it disseminated as far as possible.

  323. R, the most ridiculous part of this is how easily you get played. Why do you ask us here to supply you with info you can obtain on your own if you are truly curious? Then, you have the temerity to insist it come from a source that is acceptable to you.

    Fuck.

How about some level of scepticism or intellectual curiosity for yourself?

  324. Re: the Obama denial not-denial – is Sergey Kislyak an American citizen?

That’s prolly what doomed the 1st FISA request and won approval for the 2nd one.

  325. Unsubstantiated claims of the former president spying on the opposing political party – troubling?

Unsubstantiated claims of the current president colluding with Russia to steal the election – not troubling?

Theres little doubt in my mind that Obama “ordered” spying on Trump in the same way that Bush “invaded” Iraq.

  326. Muffy, it was naming Trump in the first FISA request.

Worse is the fact that even without his name, if they “intercepted calls” with American Citizens and foreigners, Obama broke the law by retaining/disseminating/using/failing to destroy them.

Yet the NYT brags about how careful Obama was to lower classifications and circulate.

So we’ll wait for R to explain the careful wording by Obama. The NYT does not mention “Trump Tower.” Duly noted. 🙄

  327. Tigre, I didn’t read the exchange. I watched it on TV as millions of other people did. You falsely assume most of these people have working brains.

  328. “You falsely assume most of these people have working brains.”

    No. I assumed you did.

I don’t buy into “look out or the left will making something of it.” This is nothing, and it was nothing to be guarded against because of how the actual question and answer went. It wasn’t “cute” or “misleading” unless you’re a shithead.

Again, remove the false premise that (1) Trump was colluding with the Rooskies, (2) the “election was hacked” because of it, and (3) Sessions was in on it and was trying to cover it up. All absurd. All necessary for the Sessions testimony to mean a fucking thing to anyone that qualifies as an aerobic organism.

You just don’t get anywhere playing along with this shit. Fuck lefty admonitions about what someone needs to do to win “their” game. They lost, and they’re losing more everyday.

    Fuck. Them.

  329. p.s. James, I watched it on teevee countless times — and it never included the whole question and answer. And that’s why I directed you and others to Ace because the Post did not fully quote nor even recite the transcript for context. That all had to be corrected loooong after the story was ritualistically running on MSNBC like Russia had declared nuclear war on the US — and R was all wee-weed up.

  330. “They named an American citizen and that’s illegal. The request is shot down. They went back at it as spying on the Russians. They got their FISA warrant.

Right about the time of the Hillary tweet about the covert server in Trump Tower.”

    Bingo.

But that’s not “surveillance”. . . of an American citizen because. . . ummm. . . they removed Trump’s name then did it anyway.

  331. Muffy, I totally missed the date of that Hillary tweet. I thought you were getting at something else.

    I underestimated you.

  332. I understand El Tigre. You are right, but it doesn’t matter if most people only saw what was on television. It is their reality.

Meanwhile, our own Sen Grassely has opened an inquiry on the activities of British spy Christopher Steele who wrote an opposition research dossier on Trump before the election. He wrote that the Russians had compromising information on Trump.

Commy told Grassely about the hire in January, and the Washington Post reported it the next month. The reporter wrote that while Steele’s information was unproven, the FBI felt it as worth further study.

Grassely surmises that the FBI has become a political tool.
This Hill article is dripping with leftist hypocracy.

  333. One thing about the Russia vs Trump/Flynn phones being tapped. I’m well aware that Embassies have been targeted for surveillance well before all the cyber capabilities todays technology allows but I have a hard time believing the Russian who is deemed a “recruiter” of sorts would fail to have super secure telecomm. So my question is that on a smell test of credibility isn’t it more likely Trumps and or Flynns systems were tapped thus providing the information reported as numerous transcripts?

  334. @Tigre – I thought you might enjoy this. By someone who knew him well.

@Rabbit – this is why I put up with Trumps petty punchbacks (like Arnold’s ratings – which to be fair he blamed on Trump).

“So, what about now … 2017, the era of Trump? I think Andrew would have found him vastly entertaining, while being cognizant of his impulsiveness. He would struggle with Trump the way so many of us have. But, ultimately, he would see Trump as darkly humorous, important and preferable to the Democratic alternative. At least Trump is real, and more vital. At least Trump has finally opened the door to fight back against those who, for decades, reveled in attacking us.
But what I wish Andrew could enjoy now is the implosion of the PC movement, the freedom to mock the self-righteous and the destruction of fake moral concern. Andrew would revel in the left getting a taste of its own medicine. Finally, it’s conservatives who are scaring the crap out of people, not the reverse!”

    http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2017/03/06/greg-gutfeld-remembering-andrew-breitbart-random-thoughts-on-fifth-anniversary-his-death.html#pq=JXmwWv

  335. “So my question is that on a smell test of credibility isn’t it more likely Trumps and or Flynns systems were tapped thus providing the information reported as numerous transcripts?”

So there was probable cause, us that what you’re saying?

  336. R, you don’t even know what perjury is

Can I take a stab at it? Lying under oath? Am I close?

I’m not actually saying the man actually lied. I’m saying his answer has sufficient wiggle room to invite the charge by his enemies. That’s all I’ve ever said.

Oh sorry … I also said he answered a fucking question that wasn’t asked. That’s a slam dunk regardless of the definition of perjury.

But you know what? That pales in comparison to what happened Saturday morning. We have a GODDAM LUNATIC with access to the nuclear codes. Put that in your bong and smoke it.

  337. But, again, what is being referred to in the NYT?

I’m judging the tweet at face value. The excerpt in the tweet mentions unspecified wiretaps. If Goddard wants to make his point he needs to use an excerpt that actually makes his point.

  338. “But that’s not “surveillance”. . . of an American citizen because. . . ummm. . . they removed Trump’s name then did it anyway.”

Or its surveillance of an American citizen (Flynn) but not ordered by Obama.”

Voila. A lie done with a single verb.

Then I’m back to Bush invaded Iraq.

  339. Rutherford, the funny part is that in trying so hard to carry water for your beloved party and media

Not carrying water for the media for the millionth time. If we were dropped on a desert island and shown the Franken/Sessions exchange outside any media analysis any objective person would look at Sessions answer and say WTF?

BiC made one valid point. Sessions could have snarkily asked Franken “is there a question in there somewhere?” Franken’s question was incredibly poorly stated.

Doesn’t change the fact the Southern lawyer gave a lousy response.

  340. He didn’t have to order it for it to be said “The Obama Administration” did something.

The tweet said Obama and called him “bad/sick”.

Stop defending the tweet and the LUNATIC who wrote it.

This is no longer amusing. We cannot have a president who acts like the host of the apprentice. A man who has not adjusted to his new job.

I’m done being patient. Trump is a danger to the country and needs to go.

  341. DR until I get back to my PC I cannot figure out why you keep going into moderation. Until I’m at my desk again I’ll approve your comments as I encounter them.

  342. Yates admitted that they had recorded conversations.

Your point is dumb. The FBI has been investigating the Russia thing for months. Why should we doubt there were LEGAL wiretaps involved in the investigation? That doesn’t mean Trump Tower was tapped nor that Obama was involved in the investigation.

Tigre stop being a horse’s ass. Just admit the f’ing leader of the free world shouldn’t be TWEETING something he heard on Mark Levin’s radio show.

  343. What’s with THE CAPS when type shit?

You can look up the elements of perjury. Materiality is one of them.

“As for Tigre’s tweet the evidence Steve Goddard uses doesn’t support his claim. No mention of Trump Tower being tapped nor ordered by Obama. Another news flash: Steve Goddard is a fucking idiot.”

LOL. Your arguments are so petty and lame.

  344. Trump may be the greatest troll that ever existed.

God you’re an ignoramus. The leader of the free world should not be a troll.

This is all theater to you? Do you have any standards at all?

  345. “Stop defending the tweet and the LUNATIC who wrote it.”

Damn, you really are all wee wee’d up, aren’t you?

    I’m not defending Trump’s statement I’m parsing Obama’s.

  346. Damn, you really are all wee wee’d up, aren’t you?

Yup. So much so I may stop commenting for a couple of days. We are in grave danger. A completely unserious man is in the most serious job on the planet and all most of you can do is laugh at what a great troll he is.

  347. “A completely unserious man is in the most serious job on the planet and all most of you can do is laugh at what a great troll he is.”

Mostly laughing at you. You’re so Mika-level worked up you can’t think straight. This is your next Giffords/Palin.

    Sessions isn’t your problem.

No evidence of Russian collusion with Trump to “election hack.”

And you’re upset because the narrative has been turned back on you idiots by a LUNATIC troll.

  348. “A completely unserious man is in the most serious job on the planet and all most of you can do is laugh at what a great troll he is.”

    There’s a lesson here.

Remember all of this then next time you fucking snicker over shit like “I won, deal with it”, “Get in the back seat, I’m driving”, “the 1980s called”, and rainbow lights on the White House. Yeah, your boy stuck it to us on the other side good for 8 years and you all pointed and laughed and laughed and laughed.

  349. HE’S GOT HIS FINGER ON THE BUTTON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    AREN’T YOU LISTENING????????????

    ROOOOOOOOOSKIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  350. You know a lie that counts? The Obama/Candy Crowley lie in a presidential debate. That counts.

Sessions addressing the subject he was being asked about. Don’t count.

And to your comment about theatre, it ain’t theatre when you stupid fuckers are trying to undermine the legitimacy of this president because you lost an election. Remember the tradition ad sanctity of the peaceful transition of power? Well, fuck you.

  351. Motherfucker trolled people who were trolled by the media.

Memories Pizza. Leader of the free world trolled an Indiana pizza parlor after some media dirtbag drive 100 miles to get the get.

    Fuck the left.

  352. Hey, Trump’s address to Congress was terrific.

Must be time to rely accuse him of something close to treason without evidence. The picture of the “mysterious” figure known as the Russian ambassador with lines to republicans he’s spoken with. Evidence!

  353. Obama is the troll. Trump abuses people in power and the media. Trump insults Hollywood flakes who attack him. Obama trolls pizza shop owners and insults people who own guns and read the bible. Obama is the lunatic with his weaponization of the IC and other federal bureaucracies. The media are the lunatics with their slander and their smears and their witch hunts. The left are the lunatics with their riots and their violence.

  354. Memories Pizza and Rutherford’s and that twit Raj’s response — very similar to this whole line here — was a watershed for me.

The guy that told the Pizza shop’s daughter she needed to STFU is talking about “standards.” Pffffft.

  355. I don’t think the progressive left is crazy. I think they are proto Stalinists. If they were really insane they would be less dangerous than they are now.

Most of us voted for Trump as the lessor of two evils. He is holding his side of the bargain so far.

  356. They don’t really even care about the tax returns. It’s all just a reason to get him out. I fully believe we would be seeing the exact same plays being made if any of the other GOP primary candidates had won the presidency.

It’s not about Trump. It’s not about a finger on the button. It’s not about Twitter. It’s not about tax returns.

    They want to win.

And with that, I’m gonna go finish off my day watching this Mika meltdown I’ve been reading about.

  357. Another reason why I need to take a couple of days off from here. After seeing reporter April Ryan say that the Jarrett Obama live-in arrangement was BS, I went looking for the “news”. Sure enough every right wing conspiratorial rag was reporting it including Alex Jones and World Nut Daily.

The president is an unserious man being supported by a bunch of unserious people. I’m taking a couple of days off.

  358. Remember when the Democratic Party went completely fucking apeshit over Harry Reid’s baseless accusations against Mitt Romney?

It was such bullshit that he couldn’t even get another Democrat to do it. And he didn’t even do it on Twitter. He did it on the floor of the fucking Senate. The Senate Majority Leader.

But did any of them speak out against it? Did Mika start a segment with the words “prove it” like she did today? Was it beneath the office?

Nope…the only person who had to offer any proof was Mitt Romney.

  359. I’m with Huck on this one.

Since about three days after the election, the Left has gone insane without the usual pretense of trying to hide it. They’re fishing for anything to make noise, because like Rutherford, this is their religion. They literally are unstable and unhinged out of power. Most of these people are twisted and sick, and I’ve been saying that for 20 years. Everything about them is self, amoral, and churlish. The loss of the Presidency is personal for them. They failed when they expected a win, unable to cope with how deluded they thought they had won America over. They’re arrogant but now rejected.

They demonstrated all of these abhorrent qualities for the world immediately after 9/11, or should I say when they were absolutely sure their miserable lives weren’t in jeopardy. They hate Democracy. They hate freedom for all. They are modern day Bolsheviks who must rule and must control. They care only about their covets and desire to rule – referred to biblically as empty vessels. They honestly believe they are both morally superior and intellectually superior.

They’re evil. Once you understand that, all of their irrational actions make sense.

You are damn right I am being serious. Even the worst is coming out in Rutherford now. He’s reverted back to 2012 election mode.

  360. Dear god this video is fucking ridiculous. “We are in crisis.”

There isn’t a single person who is going to die because Donald Trump accused Barack Obama of spying on him. Wars aren’t going to be waged over this Tweet storm.

It’s not a crisis that Obama leftovers are subverting the elected government. Nope…Trump accused Obama of something bad. That’s the crisis.

And we’re supposed to think Trump is the joke.

  361. “Another reason why I need to take a couple of days off from here. After seeing reporter April Ryan say that the Jarrett Obama live-in arrangement was BS, I went looking for the “news”. Sure enough every right wing conspiratorial rag was reporting it including Alex Jones and World Nut Daily.”

LOL. That’s as loony as Barbra Streisand claiming Trump is causing her to gain weight.

  362. I told you about the possible connection with former British spy Christopher Steele. Now, Micheal Isakoff has revealed another character. Former member of Parliament Louise Mensch now writes for Heat Street. She wrote the day before the election that the FBI had obtained a warrant to investigate some of Trump’s aids for Russian connections. Heat Street claims credit for Trump’s charges, but Mensch doesn’t like Trump. She has been active with the Republican Never Trump organization. She is still taking credit for Trump’s charges.

She says she can’t prove it, but she believes the Russians killed Breitbart. She also thinks the Kremlin led a hacker to pose as a teenaged girl who eventually led the FBI to find Weiner’s computer’s Hillary e mails.

She also writes novels oriented toward young women, and her husband manages Metalica and Red Hot Chilli Peppers.

Some of us have told Rutherford that his choice of tv news and web sites are corrupting his mind. Maybe someone should moniter what Trump watches.
I believe the end times are near.

  363. James, what in tarnation are you talking about? Trump charges? Red Hot Chili Peppers? End of times?

I think Sophia Jannok has corrupted YOUR mind.

  364. So, the inference at this point is that so-called Russian “election hack” was a CIA false flag event carried out with the help of the media that Rutherford consumes. Imagine that.

    http://russia-insider.com/en/wikileaks-cia-stole-russian-malware-uses-it-misdirect-attribution-cyber-attacks/ri19134

Well, if so, the left’s worldview will be shaken again. Time for another tantrum. Mika is very concerned by “the crisis,” I’m sure. Not a car in the world about the subversion within the feds so long as it feeds the drones the headlines it wants to read. 😆

  365. Rutherford is in need of a rest from fake news, eh?

Suddenly the media is shrieking at us for daring to take their coverage seriously.

Meanwhile, we’ll probably see a sharp decrease in reports based on leaked material the media insisted was genuine, right up until the moment Donald Trump believed them.

“Until now, media coverage has been driven by anonymous leakers who assured us they know things they can’t tell us about, peddling a few juicy tidbits they weren’t supposed to talk about. The President of the United States is very well situated to play that game too.
If Trump is strictly going by the reports from big media outlets and their favorite leakers, whose fault is it that he became convinced the Obama administration was spying on him? Mark Levin hit that point in his response to the CNN article:

I simply put together the stories that YOUR profession reported, on the public record. Do you deny there were two FISA applications? Do you deny the first was turned down? Do you deny the second was approved? It’s called the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court. It is about surveillance. The fact that we cannot discern all the details because of the secrecy, except for what the media have revealed and selective leaks by the government, should cause you to want to know more, not to trash those who point it out.

And yes, we can make several logical implications based on events and experience. A FISA application is a big deal. One, or two in this case, that involve campaign surrogates, or a server or computer related to a candidate or campaign, etc., is a big deal. President Obama’s statement is not a definitive statement of anything, other than he, personally, did not order a wiretap, which I never claimed. But that does not mean he was unaware of surveillance activity by several of his departments, even through routine reports to the president, such as the Daily Intel Briefing or information conveyed to him or his staff via the Justice Department re the FBI counter-intelligence activities.” –Mark Levin

    http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2017/03/06/dear-mainstream-media-you-made-deepstategate-happen/

  366. I sure hope Trump has an ace in the hole. This could play badly if he doesn’t. If it plays like the birth certificate it’s gonna be messy.

If he is holding an ace, look the fuck out.

  367. If (and I do repeat that huge IF) that claim that the CIA used misdirection to blame Russia for their own hacks, then it’s game over for the left.

I have to remain skeptical at this early stage, because that’s just far too….juicy.

  368. El Tigre, the end of times was a little joke.

Louise Mensch claimed credit as Trump’s source but not in the way she intended. She has worked with Republicans working to defeat Trump. She claims that two sources told her the FBI was investigating Trump’s aids because they thought they were working with the Russians.

The point of her story was that Trump reps had a close relationship with the Russians and that was why his people were being bugged. She said Trump Towers was not involved.

According to this version, Trump used the Brit’s information to portray himself as a victim when the original intent was to prove Trump was in league with the Russians.

Our lawyer’s four daughters know Sofia. (Brit Maret)They like her, but even in her worst days as a talk show host would she sink into such an unsupported swamp. She did say that Obama and the Swedish government are liars who are destroying their countries, but she has support for that.

The story moves beyond bizarre into weird.

That is why I repeated it as an illustration of how grotesque our world is becoming.

  369. So I’m looking at the IC report regarding the Russian hacking. I see a lot of assertions of “may have”, based on things like signatures we now know the IC has the ability to create themselves. A vast majority of the supposed evidence is still classified.

Remember that Barack Obama publically accused Vladimir Putin, himself, of ordering the Russian hacking efforts. He then imposed sanctions on Russia and kicked out 30some Russian diplomats….based on evidence he says he had but wouldn’t ever share.

Where were the screams of “without producing evidence”? Where were the screams about a sitting US president making public accusations about not just a former US president, but a sitting leader of a foreign country? Where were the screams about “crisis”?

I don’t recall Rutherford or Mika getting all wee wee’d up over Obama tossing about baseless and public accusations about world leaders. But Trump uses Twitter to toss about baseless and public accusations about Obama and suddenly we’re in a crisis.

The bottom line is…all of this outrage over what Trump did has nothing to do with Trump and everything to do with Obama. They have to defend their guy at all costs. Remember, his legacy is important to these people.

  370. With what we now know about the IC electronic capabilities, if the case against Russia were a case against a black man, the left would be losing their shit over that “conviction”.

  371. Get over the birther thing. It is not the end of the world. Can’t imagine great people of history whining about “he said I wasn’t born here.” It’s ridiculous.

  372. I said here at the time – “Fuck Trump. That ain’t right.” So I get it. But it doesn’t excuse the ruination of a country. Enough already.

(I’m just hearing some boob on the tube whining about it.)

  373. I think there’s a good chance that the mystery will remain unsolved and we’ll all be left with a vague and distant suspicion that we never understood what happened.

Regardless if we ever fully understand it, it can be stopped. There’s a chance that Trump, Bannon, & Reince will do what’s necessary to get to the source of the leaks.

    67% chance of winning.

    What do you think?

  374. LOL.

How incredible is it that Clinton was stopped? She might not stay down but she was stopped this time. Even against Obamas demands.

Trump, conservatives, and the GOP-e need to get serious and play rocket league.

  375. Muffy, for the life of me, I don’t have a sense of where this lands. Obviously there’s going to be a lot carnage along the way. But I would guess that Trump comes out on top. I don’t think he’ll deliver the goods in one delicious serving, and therefore he’ll suffer a temporary loss of credibility among the uncommitted (the left is just plain bananas and have become addicted to the pretend outrage to feel relevant). Temporary. It will become a slow drip water torture to the left.

I do agree that the leaks can be found out and dealt with. Since Trump hasn’t been around long, the disgruntled don’t pose a huge threat from a retaliation standpoint.

  376. Ultimately it is all in Trumps wheelhouse. He can unilaterally reclassify /declassify materials and release them. He can go on a witch hunt of epic proportions or be shown reasons not to and wuss out. If he has something he’ll use it by summer.

Nothing Congress does will result in credible answers.
There is nothing the media can do or have happen that will help them. They collectively have only one direction to go as well and that is further down.

Trump has bigger problems than this and people (democrats) better wake up and let him get to those or the actions he will be forced to take then will be legal, demanded and devastating.

  377. I listened to Cotton tonight, a breath of fresh air. If smirks mean anything, I get the distinct impression the wall is about to come crumbling down on a couple of Leftist, Obama stooges, who are about to get very famous and will have wished they remained anonymous. 😛

I have no doubt with the help of the rank media, Obama has plausible deniability. But his toadies don’t.

Rutherford might need to take another week off for recuperation.

  378. I agree with El Tigre and Alfie. The Wikileaks revelations lend amorphous plausibility to Trump’s charges. A Good Morning America speaker noted the coincidence after and said such spying on Trump was theoretically possible, but it wouldn’t happen because it is illegal to spy on Americans.

We all know the government, especially Obama’s has committed illegal acts against its citizens, and assurances to the contrary are worth little.

  379. @ Muffy I think that in the absence of a functional federal government on the international stage the “other guys” will push the envelope with the added bonus of the democrats showing a willingness to let stuff happen. In the environment some poor worker bee drops his attention and fucks up. An example being an Iranian fast boat failing to zig or zag when it should’ve. Trump will be expected to respond. 50%+ will be for it and the response will leave a mark. I’m less concerned about China but if NK doesn’t heed Beijings recent memo there’s another scenario. Think some NK commander screaming “Why you hit US ship with missile?!? I told you to splash it” We know where that scenario goes.

  380. Kaine Jr.’s flea infested mugshot, lower right – with the most appropriately named “Woody.” 😆

Has the same insane look his daddy had during the butt kicking during the VP debate. Is that a girl, top and center? I swear, I can’t tell these androgynous looking Lefties whether their boys anymore, unless they’ve got the soul patch.

  381. “But President Trump does have a way to combat the Left’s tactics. He should be cautious about what he tweets (lest he strengthen the impression that he’s reckless about his words.) Tweeting may be a means for a populist leader to reach the “people” without having to go through enemy territory, but it only works well if the communicator is disciplined in making his thoughts known. He must also go after treacherous bureaucrats who are compromising his administration by leaking confidential information to the Trump-averse media. And he must not only remove these enemies from their posts but also bring criminal charges against them where possible. Finally, he must “drain the swamps” by purging as much of an overwhelmingly hostile bureaucracy as he can and then replacing them with friendlier civil servants. Without these measures there is no way he can run a government that the “deep state” is working to undermine. Unless he can gain control of what is supposed to be his administration, other problems will continue to mount.”

  382. I agree about disciplined tweets and also staff statements to the press.
As Rep Steve King also said, Trump must purge as Stalin did without the executions.

Jon Huntsman is the new ambassador to Russia.

  383. I think I broke one of my ribs playing basketball. No power thanks to epic wind storm. Sore throat. My comfort rating is a 3/10 right now.

  384. Rabbit did you get blackballed on WordPress in general? Your email address is going into moderation through no fault of mine.

Try a new fake email and hopefully once I approve that once you should be good.

  385. Fucking hilarious. The IC is upset about wikileaks both about leaking information and on the validity of that information. Too bad they don’t hold themselves to the same standards

  386. I got money that says Obama’s spreading around of intelligence “to preserve the evidence of Trump’s collusion with the Rooskies” (lol) was done to cover his deliberate leaks, misinformation and unauthorized surveillance.

  387. El Tigre, and you complain about some of the videos I dump here? You owe Sofia Jannok an appology. That video helps explain why John lost. If he speaks Manderan Chinese, why is he being sent to Russia?

  388. John Huntsman was a favorite of Mika and her friends. The fact that Rutherford developed a crush on him through the referral is good enough reason to impeach Trump for the choice.

Speaking of which. Did you see Carson’s weird ass speech? Damn. Sounded like he was practicing some brain surgery on himself and snipped the wrong part.

  389. Wife and I are flying into Seattle and driving across Washington and into Northern Idaho during spring break. I’ll see my boy, do a bit of fishing and sight-seeing. Maybe a bit of bar hopping. I’ve never been up in that area. It’s gonna be a lot different than Southern California. I’m getting pretty excited about it.

  390. Good to see that the GOP isn’t going to let me down and are intent to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
How fucking stupid are some of these so called “conservatives”? Every GOPer calling for a “clean repeal” of the ACA are either liars or idiots or a little bit of column A & a little bit of column B…

  391. Huck…that sounds awesome. I’ve drove through a small piece of Idaho long time ago. Any idea what fish you will be going for?

  392. El Tigre, I didn’t hear Dr. Carson’s speech, and I didn’t need to. I did see the controversial section. I believe he is an inspirational, bright and talented man who has reached his level of incompentance.

  393. Idaho is a nice state, especially the panhandle. I think we have been on all of the major highways. Fishing is all right, but I am more interested in rock climbing and hiking.

Craters of the Moon is a multi episodic lava flow. The last occurred about when Columbus reached America, so it looks pretty pristine. Some of the caves keep ice and snow all year.

The Salmon River is full of migrating salmon at the right time.

  394. We are watching “Good Morning Vietnam.” I think Adrian Chronaur, Robin Williams’ character is Donald Trump. The real Adrian from Nebraska said Williams made him look like a swell guy.

  395. “Any idea what fish you will be going for?”

Nope. I don’t know shit about fishing except that there are a bunch of lakes where I’m going, they have a bunch of fish in ’em, and I’m gonna stick a line and a hook in the water and try to catch some of ’em 😀

“Fishing is all right, but I am more interested in rock climbing and hiking.”

My knees and back are so fucked up I can barely walk. I literally take elevators and handicap ramps at every opportunity.

  396. “Trump celebrating the latest jobs numbers! Oh wait … those numbers are bullshit, right?” R

I get what you are saying and this admittedly anecdotal as all hell…but this uptick is being felt here in Michigan in real ways. Manufacturing. Building. Real jobs. Not bull shit service industry crap.

I haven’t seen optimism like this in the ‘ol mittan for a long time.

  397. @ Rutherford I’m highly prone to hating on conservatives when I believe them to be false prophets. Loesch outburst against Ryan only cemented my view she is a pos conservative whore who along with Tomi or whatever blondies name is are meant to be big eyed sweater meat reading from a script for stupid white dickheads to absorb. It’s highly benecial to do this since your average wanker is more pliable whence the blood flow that allows logical thought is being used elsewhere.
Fuck Mr Amash from MI too. The three pronged attack on the ACA is the winning strategy.

  398. Yeah I have seen the Tommi girl. Definitely eye candy.

But I’ve found conservatism more inhabited by hot chicks than liberalism which caters to the nerdy looking girls.

  399. I dunno Alfie. I kinda admire the repealers. They are the purists. Repeal and replace only gained steam when some constituents said “hold on a minute! O-care is crap but don’t take it away until you’ve got something else.” During Obama’s “regime”, all we ever got were pure repeal votes. This replace stuff is tantamount to saying O-care just needs tweaking.

  400. I think Trump’s campaign managers need to start implementing these in schools, especially lily white ones, to propagandize Trump’s ideas. I think the Left might commit mass suicide.

  401. @ Rutherford
liberalism which caters to the nerdy looking girls.
No I don’t think “nerdy” is the correct adjective for what the left offers in the female correspondent category.
This replace stuff is tantamount to saying O-care just needs tweaking.
No! If we’re to accept that there is an ounce of sincerity behind the three prong attack outlined by Speaker Ryan tweaking is NOT what’s on the table at all.
This is the big reason Dana & Co. just needs to toss a dick in their mouth and stop talking. Instant repeal is absolutely NOT AN OPTION. No (D) is going to vote for it and at least six (R) Senators would balk as well. This is exactly why the RECONCILIATION ploy is being employed for the initial prong. The second prong allows Price to be like a kid in a candy shoppe with Congress having very little to do with it. This is the stage where every fucker who championed Sibelius and told righties to suck it get their biggest comeuppance. The final prong is where the GOP cry babies get to put up or shut up and enact the long term legislative policy to put ACA to rest one way or another.

Do I think AHCA is a good bit of legislation? Not really but I think it confronts the reality that has been dumped on us all in no short measure due to ACA. I believe the second and third prongs should really hammer away at allowing the citizen to achieve independence regards all benefits. At a min I want HSA’s to be available for all and for there to be up front pricing for all medical procedures
Do I think the return to firmer federalism,in this context the Medicaid stuff, is a good idea? Yeah I absolutely do and a number of BLUE states had things going for them pre ACA that shows it to be good too. (MN,WI,MA,ND)

  402. At a min I want HSA’s to be available for all and for there to be up front pricing for all medical procedures

    HSA’s are a fucking joke.

    1) We’re gonna be your daddy and insist you save money for medical costs like a responsible grownup. Yeah, fuck you daddy.

    2) Health Savings Accounts for people who can barely put food on the table much less put aside money for medical costs.

This is the illusion of the government helping by doing absolutely nothing.

  403. The plan doesn’t require people participate in HSAs they just reverse the perverted action by Obama that prevented people from using them. For example ME!
Also since ACA unleashed HDHPs and alleged “consumer driven health care ” upon millions of Americans the least government can do now is allow for the consumers to deal with it with HSAs and up front pricing.
I’m not calling HSAs an option for the working poor-get a grip.

  404. Medical savings accounts will work as an adjunct as long as you don’t need them next week or next month.

It takes self discipline. If you want to eat out, put the money you would have spent in a jar. The same applies to pennies you find on the street. Look for coupon bargains or comparison shop. Don’t smoke, drink, or buy cable or a smart phone. Don’t have a pet, unless it pays for itself. Pay cash.

    Make compound interest your friend.

I know it works because my wife and I did it.

  405. I’m not calling HSAs an option for the working poor-get a grip.

You may have more sense than the average GOP’er. Should HSA’s be an OPTION? Absolutely. But I do believe they’re being sold as a solution to too wide an audience.

  406. It takes self discipline.

James I agree. There is a very simple philosophical question of whether health care is “special”.

After the underperformance of Obamacare and the fits and starts the GOP is going through right now, I’m seriously beginning to question if government shouldn’t just get out of the whole thing. Free market and those who die, die. You’re not guaranteed a roof over your head in this life, nor a sustaining diet so why should you be guaranteed access to affordable healthcare?

Years ago when conservatives cheered as Ron Paul suggested dying cos you can’t afford healthcare is tough shit, I was appalled and outraged. Now I’m wondering if he was right.

Of course that decreases my time on the planet but no one is guaranteed a tomorrow anyway, right?

  407. There is something immoral about putting words in the mouths of kids who don’t even grasp WTF they’re singing about.

If this was the objection to the Obama song of 2008/9 then I get it. But it shouldn’t be about Obama. It should be about exploiting children for ANY sort of propaganda.

  408. His tweet might have been more amusing if he hadn’t targeted a kid. If you wanna make a radical Islamist joke, use a picture of an obvious radical Islamist.

    By the way, new thread.

  409. “If you wanna make a radical Islamist joke, use a picture of an obvious radical Islamist.”

And Rutherford misses the obvious joke. 🙄

You see, they thought his clock was a bomb. So, radical islamists wouldn’t fit.

But I’ll give this to you. You dumb blonde response is more amusing than the tweet itself.

  410. Can you show me where you got your opinion from? Your resource please. Great blog by the way. I like it.
