My Political TV Oasis and the Hillary Sex Speech

With All Due Respect

My friend and former political blogger Huck has been taking over blogging duties here lately. His film reviews and pop culture takes on politics have been great and have inspired me to knock off a quick TV review to end the year. As a bonus, I’ve drafted a speech for Hillary to deliver since Trump has her rightfully in his cross-hairs.

First some quick background. From the late 70’s I was a fan of the various incarnations of Gene Siskel and Roger Ebert’s film review programs. Once Gene died I stuck with Roger as he went through a few co-hosts and stayed on the air until poor health forced him out from in front of the camera. We have since lost Roger too. There was something about two guys debating their opinion on a topic that was fun to watch.

Well, film has changed to politics and Siskel and Ebert has changed to Halperin and Heilemann and the show is “With All Due Respect”. Mark Halperin and John Heilemann, co-authors of the two “Game Change” books have the same bouncy back and forth on things political that Siskel and Ebert used to have on things cinematic. Halperin is the nervous one with facial ticks and a certain obnoxious stubbornness to his interview style. Heilemann is the laid back pot smoker. Mark appears moderate, skewing perhaps a wee bit conservative. John seems pretty clearly liberal.

This is pure inside-baseball folks. You don’t get the impression that either Mark or John give that much of a rat’s ass about the good of the nation or the world. This show is not about preaching. It’s about politics as a game and how it is played. Who is winning and who is losing. It reminds me of the great WordPress blogger ChenZhen of years ago who really was just in it for the horse race. When the race got boring he retired. I stuck around trying to argue the right and wrong of things. I think I missed the point. Right and wrong only exist on a personal level. On the macro-level, sadly, it is just a game and we can either be entertained or watch in disgust.

The leading GOP candidate is a master of branding with little else to show. The leading Democratic candidate is a woman most find untrustworthy but will still inexplicably support. How can one approach this political season with any sincere hope for a good outcome? That is why I turn to my oasis in the political desert, a show where the game is indeed just a game and the analysts know exactly how to call the play by play. On a side note, I’ve caught plenty of hell from the bar patrons on my MSNBC habit. “With All Due Respect” broadcasts on the Bloomberg channel but effective January, 2016 the MSNBC snarking will begin again as the show does a dual broadcast on Bloomberg and MSNBC. Regardless, “With All Due Respect” gets five stars from me.

The Hillary Sex Speech

Donald Trump, God bless him, says the stuff everyone wants to say but is afraid to. When Hillary calls Trump crude and sexist, Donald fires back with a hat tip to her philandering husband and former POTUS Bill Clinton. In the Washington Post, Ruth Marcus gave an unconvincing argument as to why Trump was not off base. It seemed to suggest being married to a pig made attacking a pig less credible. Fine, but the better argument is Hillary’s own behavior. Hillary viewed Monica Lewinsky as a “narcissistic loony” and asked that her opinion be documented, as discussed in Lewinsky’s Vanity Fair article from last year. Let’s be clear. Bill was a workplace predator. Lewinsky was a victim. Hillary lashed out at the victim, never publicly acknowledging the harm done to her.

So now in reaction to Trump, I suggest Hillary deliver in prime time, the equivalent of 2008’s Race Speech by Barack Obama. This one should be called The Sex Speech and it goes something like this:

What goes on in a marriage is nobody’s business but the people in the relationship. Donald Trump’s comments about my husband’s behavior are intrusive and rude. But I would like to take this opportunity to address an article published in Vanity Fair last year that expressed the emotional damage done to Monica Lewinsky, the intern whom my husband sexually harassed. I have zero tolerance for workplace harassment and my husband’s behavior back then was inexcusable. I want to take this opportunity to publicly apologize to Miss Lewinsky for the pain and suffering she has gone through. I also want to apologize for not addressing this sooner. As women, we must stand together against workplace harassment. I know that Bill is sorry for his behavior. He and I have made peace with it. I hope that Miss Lewinsky can find peace also.

Of course, Hillary is way too arrogant to ever give such a speech but I think in the words of Halperin and Heilemann, it might be a game changer.

Happy New Year,
Rutherford

  1. How would Hillary apologize for Juanita Broaddrick and Kathleen Willey’s charges of assault and rape, I wonder? And that is only about two of a dozen that could be mentioned. Frankly, Hillary’s apology would most likely be construed as little but political expediency and looked at as weakness by the man haters.

  2. Good point in that Hillary has an entire trail of women she should be defending but then not all of them were subordinate to Bill. Lewinsky is a particularly nasty case because of the power imbalance.

Trump is right that this is a road Hillary should not go down. He’s not afraid of her or Bill.

  3. LOL on the Halperin video. An example of his being obnoxious. As for Cruz, even his fellow Republicans can’t stand him. But he’s crazy as a fox, waiting right behind Donald so when Donald falls, all the support goes to Cruz. Ted may be many things but dumb is not one of them.

  4. If Bill Clinton were a college student today instead of an ex-president, he’d have been guilty until proven innocent, kicked out of the university without so much as police charges, and vilified as a stone-cold rapist.

And if his wife tried to defend him in the public eye she would be vilified as victim-blaming.

This is the world the left created. Let their defacto leader stew in it.

  5. As for Cruz, even his fellow Republicans can’t stand him.

You mean fellow Republican Senators can’t stand him? Jeff Sessions, perhaps my favorite Senator, would not agree. 🙂 Besides, after the last Ryan budget, all the reason more to vote for Cruz.

  6. R, your “speech” is way off base. Hillary lead the effort to attack Bill’s accusers, and not just Monica. Visciously discredit and trash them. For political gain.

Now she’s come out stating that accusers should be belived.

This isn’t about “marital infidelity.” It’s about her pathetic lack of character and usual bullshit. Profoundly troubling bullshit. The cover she provided for her predator husband, the conduct she denied occured and the women she set out to destroy, is absolutely fair game.

  7. “This is the world the left created. Let their defacto leader stew in it.”

No fire under the pot of that stew. There isn’t one thing that the left cares about when it comes down to it. The Big Fraud.

  8. ” Hillary does not want to open this can.”

    There is no can.

That would require people who vote Dem to have a soul. They do not.

Hell… She lied to the parents of the Benghazi fallen in front of the caskets. Proven with out a doubt on Capitol Hill.

And somehow she comes out of it with the media saying how well she “handled herself”.

Fabricated a story as bad as Bryan Williams too. Pass.

    Dems are sick, sick fucks.

It’s not “inside baseball”. It’s a disgusting citizenry.

  9. R, your “speech” is way off base. Hillary lead the effort to attack Bill’s accusers, and not just Monica. Visciously discredit and trash them.

WOW, either I wrote that very poorly (a distinct possibility) or you read someone else’s post.

I agree with EVERYTHING you just said.

  10. But nobody cares that a politician lied–they are expected to lie.

What needs to be done is turn their own game against them. It will either use their game to beat them–or–it will force them to change their game.

This type of planning and messaging, however, is not the traditional strong suit of the GOP.

The meme that Hillary is a women-hating victim-blamer needs to go out far and wide. Every single GOP candidate needs to be saying it. Tomorrow.

If Bernie Sanders actually had a scrotum, he’d join in.

  11. The meme that Hillary is a women-hating victim-blamer needs to go out far and wide. Every single GOP candidate needs to be saying it. Tomorrow.
If Bernie Sanders actually had a scrotum, he’d join in.

    Yup.

  12. That would require people who vote Dem to have a soul. They do not.

Why do you write garbage like that?

The teaching profession attracts mostly liberals. Have you made no friends at work? Are most of your co-workers soulless?

  13. “I agree with EVERYTHING you just said.”

And the shallow misdirection your speech would highlight the core ugliness. She needs to let the media defend her, which it will, and stay away from it.

  14. She needs to let the media defend her, which it will, and stay away from it.

Well, sadly, HRC could rape a woman on camera herself and the PUMA’s would cheer. I guess you’re right. If she sits tight, the Teflon nature of being a Clinton will protect her.

Still, it will be interesting watching Trump try to make it otherwise.

  15. “If Bernie Sanders actually had a scrotum, he’d join in.”

I could simply stare at him and make him piss his pants with the Manischewitz he gulped down earlier.

    What a massive pusy.

Pretty funny when those BLM trolls snatched the mic from the Bolshevik Beta.

  16. It is nice to see you back Rutherford. I also like your essay, especially references to Siskel and Ebert. I used to watch them religiously.

You might have included James Kilpatrik and Shana Alexander’s debates which led to “Jane you ignorant slut” on Saturday Night Live. E Gordon Libby and Moon Zappa were also entertaining.

Unfortunately, the premise of your essay disintegrates upon examination. Obama’s race speech was a self-serving lie as subsequent years have shown. Hillary’s would be no different.

She should put this to rest. Millions of potential voters, some of whom support Hillary are too young to remember the sexual and political ugliness which surrounded the White House at that time. Standards have changed. Some of those folks might be offended by the lurid history.

Trump might also mention Bill’s friendship with and Jeffry Epstein’s fondness for under aged girls. Domestic reporters have written little but the British press has. Bill Clinton has ridden to Epstein’s island at least 22 times. The plane is named the Lolita. Notables such as Allen Dershowitz and Prince Andrew are alleged to have partied on the island. The story reminds me of the Hell Fire Club of Ben Franklin’s time.

Bill’s fun might have been completely innocent, but Trump could raise more doubts Hillary can’t afford.

Hillary had best shut up and pray that this will fade from memory by election day. Short memories have saved her before.

  17. Screwing the pooch about the North Pole thaw is another example of the shortage of real science in liberal doctrine.

It relates to the Jousnen Jarved video I posted and my explaining why the settled science that explained why those people were Asian and not European was bunk. The scientists were so sure and so ego invested in the outcome it never occurred to them that unusual physical features might have come from another source– Ice Age Cro- Magnons.

Those people are polemicsts not scientists.

  18. Why do Rutherford’s comments post after-the-fact and out of order?

Not sure what you mean but could be the WordPress app on my phone. I’ll look at the comment thread on my PC later to see what you’re referring to.

  19. This one is a ballsy depth of lying seldom seen in even the Obama depths of hell.

I only read the headlines but “bringing peace and security to Syria” was a head scratcher.

  20. Happy New Year! Nice to see a post from you, Rutherford. Of course, there is little here I agree with. But I find it apropos that these two pundits resemble movie reviewers in that all of this we call politics and even ms news is in reality theater. Scripted and performed in front of cameras.

The Monica would have never achieved fame and fortune without the Bill incident. I read an investigative piece years ago that convinced me she was a mossad plant and the whole thing planned. Remember that blue dress? I don’t feel sorry for her nor feel she was taken advantage of.

I have learned that most of America’s ‘royalty’ are sexual predators. Their lords allow those they decide to punish to be exposed publicly, or sometimes ritually sacrificed. It has been well documented and there is a substantial list of public names of those who have ‘fallen’ from grace.

  21. Funny about the temp at the north pole. That is what happens when we depend entirely on google.

We will experience a pole shift according to many in the science community. It is predicted to be more severe than shifting the north pole into the center of Alaska, though. Some think the increased frequency of earthquakes in diverse places is a precursor for the shifting of the earth’s crust. It is certainly an exciting time to be alive.

For now the methane gas leaking near Los Angeles is probably more deadly. People are experiencing nose bleeds and many are getting very sick. Of course flooding and tornadoes are keeping plenty busy in the midwest.

  22. Rutherford, Obama gave a good race speech. The speech wasn’t a lie, Obama was lying because he didn’t believe it. His subsequent statements and deeds proved he was lying. Race relations are worse than when he made the speech, and he set the tone.

Yes the earth will reverse its polarity some day, and it may not be much fun for us, though people have survived such shifts in the past.

  23. “Trump might also mention Bill’s friendship with and Jeffry Epstein’s fondness for under aged girls. Domestic reporters have written little but the British press has. Bill Clinton has ridden to Epstein’s island at least 22 times.”

The accusation could go something like this: “Someone I know told me he saw Bill Clinton there with under-aged girls. Let him prove he wasn’t.”

There was not a single Democrat who spoke out against Harry Reid using this against Romney, and the accusation resonated with the public.

    Use their tactics against them.

  24. OK, Tigre, I see what you’re referring to. I use “reply” on my iPhone and it looks like the latest app update plants my reply directly under the comment I’m replying to instead of at the end of the thread. I’ll see if there is anything I can do about it.

  25. The accusation could go something like this: “Someone I know told me he saw Bill Clinton there with under-aged girls. Let him prove he wasn’t.”

Excellent suggestion. I would also bring up Hillary’s eyesight, fainting spells, and swollen ankles and weight as precursors to massive future health problems. And they need to beat on Clinton Foundation Crony money. 😛

  26. Some opinion I read suggested Monica is Esther’s modern day twisted sister.

Blackmail is a powerful and widely used political tool. Taped records of controversial conversations have steered the policies of nations.

It is crazier to think it doesn’t play out that way.

  27. James, my newest granddaughter just stopped by with her mom and older brother. We are blessed to have them so close. I hope you are getting plenty of face time with yours.

Congratulations on the granddaughter news, Tex. She will melt your heart more than any mutt could. I guaranty it. 🙂

  28. “A mutual friend told me Hillary still suffers from the effects of her concussion, and that she could have CTE, the effects of which can include rage, confusion, and dementia. Let her release medical reports to prove she does not have any mental health issues.”

  29. A mutual friend Confirmed Medical Sources told me Hillary still suffers from the effects of her concussion, and that she could have CTE, the effects of which can include rage, confusion, and dementia. Let her release medical reports to prove she does not have any mental health issues.”

    😆 😆 😆

  30. The key is to use buzz words that will attract the attention of the public. Right now “concussion” and “CTE” are highlighted by the NFL and the Will Smith movie about it.

Even though the “C” in “CTE” means “chronic”, the public are idiots and will overlook that for what they (think they) know. Concussions are bad and lead to brain damage that can make you kill yourself.

Bernie Sanders could be on top in a week if he started spouting this today. He should ask Mitt Romney how far he will get by speaking only to the issues.

But then, we all know Sanders really doesn’t want to be president. His candidacy is meant to highlight the discussion, not the election, much like Ron Paul’s many runs.

  31. Drats!!! My test failed. Comment appeared right under James. 😟

My admin options have comment nesting off so I don’t know why the WP iPhone app is nesting my comments. Grrr. I told you guys, every time WP “improves” the app, something breaks.

  32. But then, we all know Sanders really doesn’t want to be president. His candidacy is meant to highlight the discussion, not the election, much like Ron Paul’s many runs.

Not entirely sure I agree. I think Sanders thinks he has a shot. Problem is, this ain’t a run for Vermont Senator. Dude has to start showing HRC for who she is.

  33. I’ve had three concussions that I know of. My brain swelled a bit after my worst following a car wreck caused by a drunk driver. I was in another world for an hour.
    Maybe
that explains my unusual taste in music.I don’t want to kill myself, but perhaps some of those forced to hear unusual music wish I or they did.

I’m happy for you Poolman. My wife has been in Omaha a lot. I have only seen our grand daughter three times in the last three weeks because I stayed home to report a big storm and got snowed in. Then I was home because of my back.

Our grand daughter and I skied on Christmas morning. I held her as I skied around the front yard. My back didn’t like it, but we did. I was down for one day and when I said I was leaving for home, she said “I want to go too. Take Opa’s car. Has a baby seat and apple juice.”

We celebrated our son in law’s birthday on Tuesday evening. Our grand daughter hugged me and shrieked. Her other grand parents are in Omaha now and the parents have taken a little over a week off.

We will return to Omaha next week.

Last weeks storms dropped 11 inches of snow on us, and 8 inches remain. It was -2 this morning, our first sub zero low of the winter. Usually it has reached -10 to -20 by now.

  34. HRC is never going to give anything resembling that speech R. She needs the Clinton lore & myth thing and in no small way needs Bill too.
The folks that support her, more so than ANY 2016 candidate do so because they dream of “Camelot” not because they believe anything she says or know anything she truly stands for.

  35. Grrr. I told you guys, every time WP “improves” the app, something breaks.

I think that’s the history of technological software. The more they try to “enhance” it, the worse the application performs.

OU has to be the most profoundly ignorant team in the history of college football, by the way. No wonder they promoted David “Fascist” Boren to be their Leftist President.

  36. @ Rutherford my two previous comments were on an iPad using the latest WordPress app. The comments behaved. I have in the past noted that on the phone you have to be careful not to “activate” the “reply” attached to someone else’s comment. I’m thinking that is what is happening to you.

  37. Right and wrong only exist on a personal level.

That is a root fail. The truth is that in politics Right and Wrong can and should transcend the Right Left bias.

  38. It only appears on the phone but everyones comment has a reply and like line. If you touch in the wrong place you get a reply to a specific comment. I could be out my mind but Ive noticed it happen.

  39. “Call me a cynic…”

    Cynic.

Actually it’s worse. You are becoming a nihilist. A defeated nihilist. Sad. But that’s one of many of the downsides to buying into the 2008 cult of personality.

You are not the only one.

All the former immature kool-aid drinkers arw now refusing water. You are not remotely the only one.

  40. Do you have an alternative Rabbit? Anyone on the political scene you really find inspirational?

Watching a Donald Trump supporter focus group is a nightmare. In fact an oxymoron. Never a more UNfocused group than I’ve ever seen.

These are your countrymen. While you sit around moaning about despicable liberals a group with the mentality of ten year olds is elevating a reality tv star to leader of the free world.

Tell me how to get fired up again Rabbit.

  41. Start going to school board meetings. They make decisions that affect your daughter. They make decisions that affect your tax dollars. Get informed about policies and ask questions.

  42. Watching a Donald Trump supporter focus group is a nightmare. In fact an oxymoron. Never a more UNfocused group than I’ve ever seen.

The most focused I’ve seen a Feel the Bern group is when they all stood around, mouth agape, when a bunch of black racists ran him off the stage. That’s why I’ve missed you so. That alternate universe you live in.

    Hope your business is booming.

  43. The group that would elevate a tv star to leader of the free world is approximately the same size as the group that would elevate a mentally irregular socialist to leader of the free world. They’re both nuts but it’s the majorities that we need to worry about. Unified zombies on the left, a brawl on the right. Among the candidates there is little gravitas, just an abundance of oversized egos. A couple of them don’t even make for decent human beings much less leaders of men.

I don’t know if this is anything more than a case of eloquence and looking on the bright side but I thought what Peggy Noonan said recently resonated just a little – “The good thing about what’s happening on the Republican side is it’s alive, it’s vibrant, it’s a fight, it’s a scrum. You got the most unusual people in America involved in this thing – outsiders, insiders, old, young.”

The only good think happening on the Democrat side is they will win the general election and continue doing to the country what Bill will do to anything in a skirt.

  44. “All the former immature kool-aid drinkers are now refusing water.”

That’s a special kind of excellent, Rabbit.

  45. I agree, get involved in local politics. If you attend school board meetings you may learn that many on the board are so insecure they take the lead offered from the superintendent.

  46. “The truth is that in politics Right and Wrong can and should transcend the Right Left bias.”

I also completely disagree that “right and wrong only exist on a personal level” and not just regarding politics.

  47. These are your countrymen. While you sit around moaning about despicable liberals a group with the mentality of ten year olds is elevating a reality tv star to leader of the free world.” – R

The Quote of the Day !!!!

  48. “Feel The Bern.”

Quote from one of the group of ten year old intellects offering you your Quote of The Day!!!

  49. Really you are implying that Tex is part of a group of ten year olds that are elevating Trump to a star? By quoting Tex I must assume you are including yourself as part of that group. Horrors to think that anyone on this blog supports Trump ?!?

  50. Boy, did I step in this morning. I insinuated without saying as much, even couched in some complimentary language, that Donald Trump was the Republican version of Barack Obama, and further stated I found ‘Make America Great Again’ as substantial as Hope & Change was in 2008.

But the biggest mistake I apparently made was a nice sentimental statement. Something akin to “Donald Trump is not a moral man.”

I’ll give these Trump diehards one thing. They are as vicious and loyal to ‘The Donald’ as the Obama drones were to their failed messiah. LOL

  51. Feel the Bern is like a skin condition. Surface fx only.

Most of the time Bernie reminds me of Elmo.

But sometimes, when he’s animated, he reminds me of Oscar.

Either way, he’s got someone’s hand up his ass. It could very well be Hillary’s. She could probably work the Donald and the Bern simultaneously. Woman does have a talent. Puppet shows are fun and entertaining.

  52. The California thing pools speaks to is a superb example of:
1.Legislators poorly advised or maliciously ignorant of existing law.
2.Anti-gun retards pursuing headlines & face in a short attention span theater nation.
3.The failure of the state to fully implement set law secondary to costs, political correctness or volume.
California has two existing laws that more properly addresses the real issue. 5150 and 5200 of the WIC’s allows for the involuntary detention of individuals @ a psychiatric facility. CA also has law tied to typical restraining orders in domestic violence cases where weapons will be taken.

  53. Quite advanced intellectuals have pondered the point that Trump,Cruz and even perhaps HRC are manifestations of a very focused set of ideas. Trump & Cruz are usually viewed in these circles as revisiting the early 20th Century campaigns heavy on ethno-nationalism. Others broad brush the GOPers much like they did Romney about post WWII/1950’s Americana.Clinton has a mixed bag spanning multiple decadal eras of the 20th Century. With her you get more diffusion secondary to confusion secondary to her being a @#$%^&™ liar.
On a heavier note America is at a crossroads that isn’t without historical precedence. Not to be a schmuck but Americans really are not that unique and complex.

  54. Not to be a schmuck but Americans really are not that unique and complex.

With focus group comments like “he tells it like it is”, “he’ll run our country like a business and get things straight” and the belief that Trump can make Congress do what he wants (that’s assuming they know we have a congress or checks and balances), no … complexity is not the word I would apply to Americans.

And ponder this: a boatload of people bored by the way a bill really becomes a law, finally go out to vote just for the thrill of voting for a celebrity. Record numbers of previously disinterested voters showing up at the polls.

If you thought Obama pulling out the black vote was something, wait and watch Trump pull out the couch potato vote.

I hope Iowa and NH prove me wrong. I still have the tiny hope that when push comes to shove the Trump supporters will evaporate.

  55. R, Trump and Sanders are opposite sides of the same coin. Please stop with the self-congratulatory smugness. Sanders is a total joke.

  56. “and the belief that Trump can make Congress do what he wants (that’s assuming they know we have a congress or checks and balances), no … complexity is not the word I would apply to Americans.”

Thanks to Obama, Americans have been shown how much any president really needs congress.

We warned you of this while you were cheering it on and sniveling he was correcting a broken system.

  57. “And ponder this: a boatload of people bored by the way a bill really becomes a law, finally go out to vote just for the thrill of voting for a celebrity.”

Exactly the way Obama was elected.

  58. So Huck, tell me just how much Obama achieved on his own? What’s the result of the so-called Imperial Presidency?

As for the Trump/Obama equivalency, it’s a stretch. Neither Trump nor Sanders have the youth and eloquence put on display by Obama in 2008. Obama was elected as a reaction to GWB and because he was the kind of black man (not REALLY black, not SLAVE black) voters could swallow. We could elect the first black POTUS without having to go ghetto with a Jesse Jackson.

But to Tigre’s point, I’ll say this. Trump and Sanders whistle a similarly simple tune. Hate outsiders (Trump), hate the rich (Sanders). And HRC is basically “love me for my vagina”.

Yep, inspirational times we are living in.

  59. Obama altered multiple portions of ObamaCare multiple times, he altered immigration law, he bypassed senate approval of appointees while congress was in session.

Do I need to go on?

  60. “What’s the result of the so-called Imperial Presidency?”

The result is the precedence set. Yes, others have done so, and each is a building block. Obama added to it, and I think I have shown examples that display his relative lack of quantity is outweighed by the significance of those examples.

He unilaterally changed written law. And you cheered him on because he was sticking it to the enemy.

History shows many examples of “the enemy” becoming “the man” and how they tend to double down on the things used against them. We warned you of this many times. You didn’t listen and still aren’t.

  61. And before you bring up “non-enforcement of law” being different from altering law, imagine these scenarios…

President GOP declares he will not enforce any ObamaCare mandates on individuals, companies, or states. He will also veto any budget that includes money to fund any portion of ObamaCare.

President GOP declares he will not enforce the SCOTUS ruling as it applies to states and gay marriage. Any state is free to deny gays the right to marry, and his DoJ will do nothing.

    Shall I go on?

  62. It is still true that Trump presents the image of a POTUS who can do whatever he wants. He doesn’t even use the jargon of executive order.

I would argue Obama has not stretched the definition of what a president can do. He works within executive discretion. You might not like what he does, but I don’t believe him to be a candidate for impeachment. If he outright violated separation of powers he would be.

  63. That’s actually a great website Tigre. I’ve bookmarked it. I think just about every approach there has been used by someone here.

    Ad hominem, anyone? 😊

  64. “I would argue Obama has not stretched the definition of what a president can do. He works within executive discretion. You might not like what he does, but I don’t believe him to be a candidate for impeachment. If he outright violated separation of powers he would be.”

And I would argue that impeachment isn’t what we were discussing. We were discussing how much the current and the future president does and doesn’t need congress. I also pointed out that the next president might take things even further than Obama did, but that Obama laid the groundwork, just like those before him did.

I will also point out how foolish your “assuming they know we have a congress”, seeing as you never ignore than chance to tell us how much the country hates congress.

Remember, this is not Twitter. You need to think through your comments 🙂

  65. Since I have a vague notion of Huck’s musical tastes, I just wanted to throw out my condolences on the passing of Lemmy Kilmister. His last interview on Marc Maron’s WTF podcast was a trip. Dude already sounded half dead. RIP.

  66. Oh BTW unless bovine anatomy is markedly different from human, you don’t need to repeatedly impregnate a cow for her to give milk. You just need to keep milking her once you start. If I’m not mistaken, a woman only stops lactating when her baby has stopped suckling altogether. If a woman chooses to breast feed her kid until age 18, she doesn’t need to get repeatedly pregnant to do so.

Any doctors in the house? Am I right or am I right? (In short, Pool’s dairy vid seems to be at least partly full of it.)

  67. Dairy cattle will produce milk as long as they are milked. That can go on for a long time. Victims of last week’s blizzard in west Texas and New Mexico are suffering financial losses, not only because of the dead animals but lower milk production because cattle were not fed or milked during the blizzard and its aftermath.

The same situation applies to other mammals, I assume.

  68. This one is better because who can resist the outrage of Tucker Carlson? It also features a righteous brother just so we’re clear, it’s not a black problem. It’s an ignorance problem.

  69. Glad to see all those “black leaders” that can find there way into Ferguson and FL and Boston and Baltimore fighting that “ignorance.”

How about your black leaders Rutherford? You like it when they throw rocks at whites, particularly Southern whites. Now you sound like an apologist.

I’ll check into MSNBC to see if they have something to offer. . . 🙄

  70. AoS got looking at some old Reagan clips. I watched the first Reagan/Mondale debate in its entirety. That was a slugfest. But so much more gentlemanly and substantive that what we’ve seen in recent years.

It did remind me of something though. The rhetoric of the left has never changed. The imputation of evil motives and demagoguing of conservatives is a staple. I never realized how hurting the lessers in society is what really motivates me. Gawd. The more things change the more they stay the same.

I wish we had a Reagan today.

  71. Well it must be fun being Tigre and having arguments with yourself. He’s certainly not arguing with me because I’m not an apologist for anything.

Just because I think Tucker Carlson more often than not comes off the arrogant prick doesn’t mean I support violence against police.

It’s also noteworthy that Tex would like us to think the asshole councilman is what black is. My video shows black can be a number of things. A black man called the councilman a “moron”.

Go back to that page you posted Tigre and look up “straw man”.

  72. It’s also noteworthy that Tex would like us to think the asshole councilman is what black is.

Ah, now that’s not fair. I say the councilman is representative about half of Black America, that part wholly racist, profoundly ignorant and completely lawless, and perhaps of 80% of urban Black America. What do you think, Rutherford?

    Am I way off base?

  73. The councilman official gov page indicates he’s the stereotypical scummy politician havk turd. I would wager the Jackson MS 3rd district is proof of failed urban policy.

  74. I waste a lot of time when something piques my interest. The Jackson MS story was never on my radar until today and it caught my eye. I jumped in2 it and found out a lot of stuff. There is an irony alert needed here. Although the city is 80% black the police force is 70% black. Depending on who you talk to on the larger subject the diversity reflection myth is a different matter. Ultimately if the (sorry for the frankness) niggers want to pelt the poh-poh’s they are more than likely aiming for a brother. THAT IS TESTIMONY TO URBAN DYSFUNCTION

  75. I’d say about 50% of any demographic are assholes. To that degree I agree with you.

That’s ironic because I once told a young, sanctimonious medical student exactly the same thing – something akin to about 50% of the people you will meet are assholes. 😛

Of course, most of them aren’t burning down the cities or chunking bricks at the police.

  76. “Just because I think Tucker Carlson more often than not comes off the arrogant prick doesn’t mean I support violence against police.”

I just asked where your black leaders are. Obama? Sharpton? Cummings? The twits you worship on MSNBC? Where are they? This is an ignorance thing.

Awww, I guess it doesn’t further the narrative. 😆

  77. Alfie, you’re a stand-up guy and one of the smartest folks who post here but please don’t confuse the use of the word “nigger” with frankness. It’s not frank, it’s just plain offensive.

If I could, I’d wave a wand and get BLACKS to stop using the damn word. They say they use it to “own” it. Bullshit. That’s like saying I take a dose of arsenic so I’m in control of my own demise.

Call it a euphemism, but I’ve taken to using the word “ghetto” to describe ignorant blacks whom I disdain. And sadly, there are a number of them.

Not interested in a back and forth on it — just speaking my mind.

  78. What’s the matter, have you never seen man boobs before? 😆 I hope you read the description below the video to get the sciency parts…

  79. On a related note, I wanted to blog on this but I’m going back to “work” tomorrow and will not be posting much in the near future.

I am disgusted by the way black America has turned its back on Bill Cosby. I am not defending his sexual behavior by any means but I am 100% sure there is a political element to his current downfall. I’m not even talking about the PA prosecutor running on the subject. I believe Bill Cosby made the cardinal mistake of criticizing the black community for their utter ignorance and failure-guaranteeing behavior and he is now paying a price for it.

He’s not in trouble for the (mostly white) women he abused. He’s in trouble because a BLACK standup comedian called him out for perceived hypocrisy and it went viral.

Blacks stopped liking Cosby when he made it explicit how blacks contribute to their own downfall; That’s why he’s in trouble — and it’s a sad cautionary tale to any other powerful black men who want to tell it like it is to a community who would prefer to play passive victim.

  80. “The very definition of tu-quoque. You didn’t deal with the substance of my remark. LOL”

Oh, the irony, the irony, it buuuurns. 😆

  81. Poolman, that’s totally fucked. Why are in touch with this shit?

I hope you realize your first link was to satirical site. A very unfunny one.

  82. “The Cosby thing is about consent, men & women, celebrity, drugs, money…

Not really about race at all” – Muffy

It’s cringe worthy how wrong Rutherford always gets it. Even when he is going against the grain.

    Dude, it’s not a race thing… It’s a sauce thing

  83. The sauce video is hilarious even though IT is cringeworthy when viewed through a current lens.

I’m not going to belabor this. You watch 10 blacks on TV comment on Cosby and 9 of them will refer to the routine by Hannibal Buress about Cosby lecturing the black community while raping women.

You can choose to believe the black community embraced Cosby’s message of self improvement or not. I’m not going to try to convince you they did not.

P.S. Void of any other social context (I.e. on the surface) Muffy is of course, right. Rape is always about consent. But this case is more complicated than that. Someone here brought up OJ. Ain’t it strange a man who obviously stabbed his wife got loads of support from the black community (they cheered at his acquittal) but Cosby, in a series of he said/she said’s has not gotten similar support?

  84. Nothing has been offered to support the argument.

Jury nullification doesnt mean they think OJ didnt do it.

Cosby causes two worlds to collide for the liberal media. Thats all.

    Rape is about consent?

    Good grief.

  85. So a group of armed people have taken over a government building. Does anyone know what video they are pissed about?

  86. This is way over your head.

But hey 9 out of 10 teevee black people would refer to the comedy routine by some black commedian so youre probably onto something.

  87. Muffy I usually don’t get you but why the “good grief” about consent? YOU said rape was about consent. I agreed with you except that I think there are other factors with Cosby.

So are you saying rape is about consent or not. Can you actually explain yourself without insult?

  88. Huck, I assume that was a Benghazi joke. Just curious, do you think the Bundy Oregon occupation bodes well for the future? You in favor of armed militia occupation?

  89. I said the Cosby case was about consent, among other things. But not about race.

You say Cosby is paying the price for speaking out. Can you back that up or not?

Cosby is paying the price for highly questionable at best and possibly criminal behavior.

    It wasnt the video!

  90. “You in favor of armed militia occupation?”

I was not in favor of what Cliven Bundy did, nor am I in favor of what his son is doing.

With that said, I wasn’t in favor of how the government handled the last Bundy incident, and I doubt I’ll be in favor of how they handle this one.

If it were me, I’d place the building under siege and then tell them all, “the first 2 to come out get lesser charges.”

  91. “Just curious, do you think the Bundy Oregon occupation bodes well for the future?”

It doesn’t speak to the future because Obama won’t be here much longer.

He is weak. He has shown weakness to all of our enemies….including these domestic enemies. These guys were emboldened by how things were handled with them before.

All this will do is make another talking point for his gun grab this week.

  92. Honestly no. I don’t know which two worlds you’re referring to.

Assuming Cosby did what he’s accused of, he’s a criminal. I simply don’t believe the reaction he’s getting is detached from other baggage. Are you aware that MANY still support Roman Polanski despite statutory rape of a minor? I’m pretty sure CeeLo Green was accused of the same drug-rape thing and his life isn’t being destroyed.

You don’t have to believe me. A lot of black folk are glad Cosby’s getting his comeuppance.

  93. A subcategory under the “No True Scotsman” for you Rutherford:

    Feel the Bern.

  94. “You don’t have to believe me. A lot of black folk are glad Cosby’s getting his comeuppance.” – R

I totally agree, disgusting leftists and ignorant blacks would normally defend a creep like Cosby if he was a vocal leftist. You people are like that.

  95. He’s in trouble because a BLACK standup comedian called him out for perceived hypocrisy and it went viral.

It’s not Cosby’s hypocrisy that he’s in trouble for with the racial gutter snipes. Hypocrisy is the hammer now being used to beat Cosby with, because they can’t use the charges of “racist”.

No, Cosby is in trouble because he shined the light on the failures of Black America, and Black America didn’t like one of their own admitting as much.

  96. I’ve already told you, the Iowa government stole some of our family and. The landowners went to court, but it was rigged. A lawyer in the case told my father, “you need to find a crooked lawyer who is friends with the judge.”

Thus, I have sympathy for Cliven Bundy and his ilk. Something is rotten in Nevada. As of May, the government had done nothing, and Bundy’s cattle were happily grazing on the disputed land. The FBI and Justice Department hinted about investigations but were vague. If they have a case, why are they letting Bundy operate as he did but now with a pulpit from which to spread his views? The government sets a bad example to appear so weak.

Similar land grabs are occurring in Texas and other places. I have no idea if the Oregon protesters have a case or not, but my personal experience leads me to believe they might have a case.

These people are a minority within an exotic rural minority. There will be no flash point leading to revolution. Mild interest from the rest of us will fade until the next protest.

I agree with Huck, Obama can use the incident if he even knows about it.

  97. I also agree, Cosby owes some of his situation to his statements about black culture. I also think it took a while for our culture to turn against him. It didn’t happen until scores of women charged Cosby was a preditor. The same process led the majority of Americans to consider Hillary to be a liar and untrustworthy.

The left has expressed false outrage about non-leftists for years. Cosby should change his name to Bill Clinton.

  98. The feckless, Leftist media flacks want to beat Republican candidates over the head with this Bundy loon? Far enough.

The question that should be asked of Hillary Clinton and Mothball Bernie for that matter about the “takeover” of the Federal Building is…

“Are you, Mrs. Clinton, in favor of the federal tactics your husband chose to ‘execute’ at Waco?”

  99. In my opinion the Crosby “deal” is repulsive but I am not horrified or surprised. Any number of celebrities (or politicians) can be accused of the same. An actor is just that…an actor. Crosby was no more a fatherly figure than Doogie Howser was a doctor.

I often wonder why if these acts are true why the women in question did not come forth until after so much time. At the height of Crosby’s fame there was a fantasy for some women about having sex with a black man. It was not that unusual for white men to have sex with black women (shades of the Southern slavery). It was not uncommon to give drugs to women for sex now and then. In todays view any thing goes.

So my question is “Why now”? I don’t believe the political aspect particularly but I do believe in the motive of fame and fortune. He may or not do time but he will fork over a fortune.

Maybe he will take the fifth, no comment except for “the liberals made me do it”

  100. Tigre, the best quote I ever saw about men like Sanders and Socialism?

“Socialism is a wonderful idea. It is only as a reality that it has been disastrous. Among people of every race, color, and creed, all around the world, socialism has led to hunger in countries that used to have surplus food to export…. Nevertheless, for many of those who deal primarily in ideas, socialism remains an attractive idea — in fact, seductive. Its every failure is explained away as due to the inadequacies of particular leaders. ” ― Thomas Sowell

  101. @ ET yes I agree with that article and have seen similar commentary put forth in places as different from one another as night and day, City Journal and City Lab being two examples. The former is a rather conservative entity and the latter an offshoot of the Atlantic.
I am very much interested in urban policy and consume volumes of information related to it. Cities are going to experience continued growth and in the USA the classic “blue” model is no longer an appropriate way to go.
It would be a good area for Republicans to jump in2thefray for sure. There is definitely openings for conservative and libertarian principles within the urban municipal setting.

  102. The Oregon case has been denounced by the two guys who are the subject of it,the Hammonds [sp?]
Buddy 2.0 is a pox upon folks with legitimate gripes against federal bureaucracy. I think the occupation will likely be tolerated until spring when the general public is expected to want to visit the park land. The response will be determined then.
As for Cliven the feds just have the meter running and will eventually hold another court action, that they will again win and at that time an action will occur. It doesn’t really matter the Oval occupant. This stuff is the classic bureaucracy beast moving at the speed of civil service kind of thing.
If nothing else Clive will eventually die of natural causes….BLM not so much.

  103. American culture is not healthy. It has been declining for generations and now is totally rife with disease. Vapid consumerism supports our sluggish economy. Debt and duty drive our days. Our sacred institutions now totally corrupt and a caste system in place. Our courts favor the wealthy while demonizing the poor. Justice now carries monetary value.

Anyone that speaks truth to power is quickly silenced. Whistle blowers are given prison terms and their revelations sealed from we, the people. Journalists are targeted as enemy combatants, with well over a hundred killed last year.

Pedophiles run the governments. The ongoing investigations mostly in the EU prove that generational sickness thrives within ALL pockets of power. There is nothing redeemable therein that I can recognize.

I think we will see some burst into flame and soon.

The latest Bundy event is a part of the play, forcing the divide and conquer strategy.

Cosby is being punished for speaking truth to power. He has to be demonized, whether he is guilty or not. This is not in anyway like OJ.

  104. The timing has more to do with statutes of limitations and reasonable developments resulting from recently deposing Cosby than anything political in nature. That is, in his own out-of-court sworn testimony, he admitted to things which make it nearly impossible to have his back. Had he lied under oath like a Clinton it might be a different story with the masses. The throngs don’t need to believe the lie. The lie itself is good enough. We’re seeing the same thing with Hillary right now.

Had OJ told the truth, that might have changed a few things back then. That the prosecution blew that case is no mere fact, it is an overwhelming one. They didn’t deal with the single items in evidence for which the defense team raised legit reasonable doubt. The LA crime lab was a joke. Example – supposedly there was an anti-coagulant discovered in the blood on the socks. The socks that weren’t collected the first time they gathered evidence from OJs bedroom. The prosecution was feeble in countering that stuff and usually fell back on OK then throw out the socks there’s still all this other stuff. OK throw out the glove behind the guest house, there’s still this other glove. I could go on.

Tigre correctly IDs the two worlds colliding. The normally race-obsessed liberal media doesn’t know how to talk about Cosby.

Cosby is in trouble because of Cosby.

  105. Camille Cosby has now turned on Bill saying she “doesn’t blame any of the women and thinks he deserves every bit of the hell he’s going through.”

There is in fact no comparison with that sleaze ball Hillary Clinton.

  106. Alfie, with the Obama gun grab that is being reported, I can’t help but wonder what the the gun violence stats in the US would look like if the 4 big urban areas or democratically controlled populations were removed. I bet that the number would fall to the bottom of the chart globally.

Maybe time to do some Googling.

  107. Alfie, with the Obama gun grab that is being reported, I can’t help but wonder what the the gun violence stats in the US would look like if the 4 big urban areas or democratically controlled populations were removed.

If Alife goes through that trouble, I hope he will also grant me the information to exactly how many violent crimes are committed with guns by Caucasians – not the “White” Hispanic type either. 😈

I care to wager white suburbia in America is one of the safest places on the planet if my city any indicator. And “ironically” also one of the most heavily armed.

  108. I’ll wager that all those scary, assault-rifle-toting, redneck republicans have a near zero gun crime rate despite being the claimed reason for the gun grab.

Tex, what is that? Obama-Rubio? It kinda looks like this guy:

  109. We know how you are, Tex. 😛 The whitish Bobo looks akin to Rick Perry.

I can agree with Tex on the suburbia note. Here is an interview from 1999 with Bill Cooper. Minute mark 9:11 to 11:11 most pertinent regarding what we may soon be looking at.

  110. LOL. Yeah, there’s a lot of “experts” on there of Vox. Especially those state religion, global warming scientist types.

I stole that gravatar off a poster I saw on Facebook with Bozo’s white picture and the caption, “Had Barack Obama been white, he still would have been America’s worst President ever…”

Does look like of like John Edwards. 😛

  111. I guess that “Greg Marmalard.” I used to work with pompous do gooder and suck up that reminded me of Greg Marmalard and his name was Bob. I called him Bob Marmalard. 😳

  112. No, Cosby is in trouble because he shined the light on the failures of Black America, and Black America didn’t like one of their own admitting as much.

I swear to GOD I must speak Chinese. THAT IS WHAT I HAVE BEEN SAYING FOR THE PAST DOZEN COMMENTS!!!!

  113. You called Cosby a hypocrite. But that is not what he is being punished for by Black America. That’s a ruse. He’s being punished for being an Uncle Tom.

Like Tigre and Rabbit said. Had Cosby been interrupting innocents at diners with his ball cap turned sideways and chanting Black Lives Matter and #HandsUpDon’tLoot, smelling of reefer, with his pants pulled down to his knees and his butt crack hanging out, there would be riots in the street at this moment, buildings burning, whites getting assaulted, and MSNBC talking about lynchings.

And I know you know that. 😉

  114. First of all, I’m not calling him a hypocrite. I’m saying the hypocrisy charge was leveled by the comedian Buress and was fully supported by the black community. The charge: don’t lecture us about our behavior when you’re raping women. But where we fully agree is that the charge is based not on any true objection to hypocrisy but on a deep seated resentment of being told by a brother to get your shit together. AND he told them in public in front of whitey, making it ten times worse.

You’re absolutely right. If Cosby embraced the thug life, these 50 women would be getting real pushback from the black community and the black media.

  115. Speaking of gross incompetence and Gestapo tactics, I read Dear Leader has decided by executive authority that doctors will now freely be able to report what they perceive as mental health issues of any patient to our benevolent federal government, free of any legal repercussions. (winkie, winkie)

As the father of a newly minted doctor, married to a newly minted doctor, I can’t explain in words how large the gaping holes of potential abuse and risk this little Pandora’s Box has opened for both patient and doctor.

Never did I dream there would come a day, I would first have to screen my doctor’s opinions to the Bill of Rights and have him sign a confidentiality paper to that before I could list my ailments.

If that’s the case, I do hope my daughter and son-in-law will ask upon entry in the door, before insurance a person’s registered party affiliation. Any Democrat should immediately be turned into the Federal Government under suspicion of mental illness.

  116. Doctors, like politicians and economists don’t like to admit when they are wrong or ignorant.

Yesterday, the doctor told our daughter that every symptom points to our grand daughter’s slow development, probably with seizures, but she is normal. The doctor told our daughter she has never seen anyone like our grand daughter and she has no clue as to why she is progressing so well. The failure of her skull plates to close is worrisome to them but that happens sometimes. Our grand daughter should not be so smart, and that bothers them.

Today, neurologists are examining her. I hope they are careful what they say in her presence, because as we have learned, our grand daughter already knows and understands.

  117. I think Obama is making more of his gun grab than it really is. The greatest effect I can see is his dramatically bypassing Congress and convincing even more people to arm themselves.

  118. Doctors, like politicians and economists don’t like to admit when they are wrong or ignorant.

I think that charge could apply to most ‘professionals’ in our society. Their education and training prepares them for determined encounters with specific cause and effect. Anything outside their so called norms is an anomaly and they don’t have the skill set to deal or accept it. It clouds thinking and tends to add to their already uncomfortable cognitive dissonance.

This common condition is stagnating, counter productive, and has been instrumental in bringing us to where we are today. Everyone is a compartmentalized specialist who has no grasp of the over all big picture and how every little thing affects every other thing in this world.

Like the doctors trying to figure out your granddaughter, James. They will not be content until they come up with a label specifying cause and effect that fit her. Something they can write in her permanent record. If she were my child, I’d tell them to go f**k themselves. If she isn’t showing the signs they expect, they should question their own knowledge and be willing to expand their minds.

It really is part of this American disease that has given us Bobo, Hillary, and climate change. And remember, ISIS hates climate change. They hate us for our [fleeting] freedoms. lol.

  119. Oh. Obama says the gun grab is constitutional. And we can trust him he’s a “constitutional scholar.”

    What a joke.

  120. “LOL. You’ll know you’re really screwed when Obama eliminates attorney/client privilege.”

You’d applaud it if he did because. . . Obama and MSNBC.

  121. Liberals are intolerant of any moralizing on matters of sex. That’s why the blowback. In the end it’s all just another way for liberals to regard Cosby as the victim and condemn him for not being liberal like them. Black -or- white. For no liberal shall ever moralize on matters of sex.

  122. I’m so relieved. Thanks be to Obama for little black kids can now walk to school in broad daylight in Englewood without fear of being pulled into an alley and shot in the face.

  123. The Supreme Leader of the Gruberite faction today was speaking with tears! 😥 😥 😥

In addition to making Jimmy Carter look resolute and failing to heal the planet, now we can add wooden actor to the Supreme Leader’s list of shortcomings.

  124. Dumb fuck libs will fantasize that this royal command will stop gun violence. They also will ignore the fact that one day they will be burned by unconstitutional fiat as well.

Obama fake cried today. And his royal commands actually effect me personally.

We need to start making other libs cry. Do something, within the law, that hurts a lib. Time to start making these royalists pay. It can be a small thing. But, it’s time to start making their lives more difficult at every turn.

Unless its a true friend or family, don’t ever help them. They share no social contract with you. They are your enemy in a war I think might start within a generation. Boycott them. Screw them over.

  125. Fake as shit. Biden lowering his head a little ahead of cue. . . fucking lame.

I wonder he thought about to tease those tears. Jay Z and Beyonce not paying any attention to him? Rush Limbaugh saying something unflattering?

  126. “,,,,that doctors will now freely be able to report what they perceive as mental health issues of any patient to our benevolent federal government, free of any legal repercussions.” – Tex

The law in my state requires doctors to report to state law officials any patient they deam to have mental issues that could lead to suicide or other such mental issues. This law could now protect the doctor who has reported the perceived mental issue.

A true story….an eighty something woman in a conversation with a so called friend indicated a one time she had considered suicide as a result of being raped and beaten during her escape from Germany during WW!!. This incident occurred during her teen years and still has a profound effect on her life. The “friend” reported the conversation to her “friend’s doctor who then by law had to report the incident to the local law officials. She was accosted in her home and taken by the police to a hospital for evaluation and then removed by police handcuffed in the back of a police car to a mental institution far from her home for further evaluation. She was determined to not be a threat after 24 hours and released and told to find her own way home a 100 miles away.
If there was ever a reason to sue the medical profession and law enforcement this was a Lawyer’s dream case but she did not want the issue to become public as she was a well know figure in the public world of sports i.e. a prominent judge.

All professionals followed the rules. Do you think they should or should not be protected against situation such as this ?!?

  127. “The law in my state requires doctors to report to state law officials any patient they deam to have mental issues that could lead to suicide or other such mental issues. This law could now protect the doctor who has reported the perceived mental issue.”

Ummmmm. . . . protect him from what? Doing what he is legally obligated to do? I think the MD is covered there without Obama’s help.

  128. p.s. the involuntary hospitalization story has gaps in it. They require special pleadings from multiple movants under oath. Nowhere is a phone call from another person’s doctor who never treated the patient going to produce an order for involuntary psychiatric evaluation.

  129. I don’t think the merits of Obama’s royal decree should even be discussed. For starters, not one of them would have protected the little kids he fake weeped over. Not. One.

Secondly, who gives a fuck. He doesnt legislate. My brothers and buddies sell guns to one another. We are not the ones killing people. Nor are other people like us.

We are armed to the teeth. My neighbors are armed to the teeth. My entire city is armed to the teeth. I’m talking the scary tacticool rifles too. I’ve lived here ten years. There has never been a murder.

Obama hates middle America. He enjoys punishing me out of the pure bigotry he was brought up on.

He has gone too far. Unfortunately, I think many pissed off people simply want an replace Obama with an anti-Obama. Yet another asshole that destroys rule of law and pisses on the Constitution.

The damage this piece of shit in the White House is doing to the Republic will one day haunt libs. Will I have the fortitude to stand up for what is right when it happens?

  130. Re dumb fuck libs, Rabbit. One of our daughter’s co workers said she liked Obama’s speech. It made sense to her. Our daughter laughed that the woman missed the New Years Eve party because she thought it was on New Years Day.

    Yes, Emily.

A friend, who’s ex husband tried to kill her was uncomfortable owning a gun, but she changed her mind after Obama’s speech. She plans to buy a weapon this month. She probably isn’t the only one.

The neurologists have no clue about our grand daughter. They are similar to liberals too ignorant for our own good.

  131. Doctors and school teachers are already obligated to report suspicion of child abuse. I think this change could be twisted to prevent a few political enemies from buying guns, but I can’t imagine anyone’s being hospitalized.

  132. I had a feeling based on our family’s experience about the Oregon protesters, and if the National Review is correct, I was right. The government has treated those people unjustly. I don’t think taking over a national park building is a good strategy, but those people have a legitimate complaint.

The government has twisted laws to remove people who have stood in its way. This mental heath gun purchase resolution could also prevent some people from buying guns because of their political views.

  133. I still can’t believe President Piece of Shit cited the unarmed Chinese people as something we should emulate because a knife attack didn’t kill many people.

Comunist China. Lording over a people with no freedom of religion or expression.

A people who were mass murdered by it’s own government.

A people who don’t even get to decide the size of their own family.

Yes Obama, please do continue talking about China.

  134. Simple question. I cried over Newtown. Not once but many times. If I hear about it now on a bad day, I well up.

I know from his own mouth Rabbit cried over Newtown.

So why is the POTUS crying ipso facto fake? Wasn’t he introduced by a couple of dead kids’ parents? That alone would make me tear up.

  135. Yes Obama, please do continue talking about China.

China, Saudi Arabia, take your pick. We deal with lots of very unsavory nations and laud them when politically expedient.

  136. The recent performance by Bobo and the take away your guns ensemble may get him the equivalent of an oscar. He does have the tear thing down, unlike many in his company. 7 years of performing…

Yes China. He would like us to emulate sesame credit, but for now he’ll settle for executive order infringement of our second amendment.

  137. So the critical question is how many mass shootings are committed by someone who bought his gun at a gun show? If the answer, as I suspect, is pert near zero then the Obama EO is a feel-good move. A ”send a message” move.

Not a gun grab by any means but a next to useless gesture. Instead of screaming about his rights being violated, DR should be mocking the prez for a relatively weak-ass move.

  138. We should respond exactly the way Dem-rats would if President Trump issued an executive order banning Muslims from migrating here. Or if he even looked at Planned Eugenics wrong.

Even if Trump cried. And especially if he lectured us that we should emulate Saudi Arabia or some other unsavory nation.

  139. Everyone cried over Newtown.

Only one of us accused the others of not giving a shit. One guess who.

Ever see an actor trying to appear drunk? The giveaway is that drunks try desperately NOT to appear drunk.

That crying was so overacted Jim Carrey would have been upstaged.

  140. It seems like only yesterday that John Boehnor was being ridiculed as a crybaby for his public displays of tearful emotion.

  141. Emily,

If there was ever a reason to sue the medical profession and law enforcement this was a Lawyer’s dream case but she did not want the issue to become public as she was a well know figure in the public world of sports i.e. a prominent judge.

I’m a little surprised you can’t see the gaping holes screaming for abuse in Obama’s new proposal from anyone the least bit unscrupulous in the medical community. But if you cannot see my concerns for my own children in the medical profession with respect to legal repercussions, let me tell what Obama’s proposal most certainly will do.

Give real pause to people seeking help with respect to mental illness – perhaps more than any other illness, one that still carries a personal stigma, much like HIV did in the mid 80s. We already have an epidemic of mental illness not receiving proper treatment in America.

O’Bozo’s unconstitutional power grab is most likely to make the the issues of improper treatment due to embarrassment, even threat substantially worse.

  142. Nowhere is a phone call from another person’s doctor who never treated the patient going to produce an order for involuntary psychiatric evaluation.-ET

The “friend” reported the conversation to her “friend’s doctor who then by law had to report the incident to the local law officials”-EB

So sorry counselor, my bad…. the “so called friend” of my friend called “my” friend’s doctor………”

“Give real pause to people seeking help with respect to mental illness “- Tex

But you also misunderstood….this is already a law in my state and yes you are correct, people are very hesitant to talk to their doctors because of the example I gave. I think the medical profession should not be liable for following the law but in the case I quoted and there were no gaps I think “my friend” had grounds for a lawsuit. So the law Obama wants already exists…probably in many other states as well.

I think doctors have a duty to report evidence of abuse, mentally and physically. I do not think they should be liable for their reports. This argument is over semantics.

  143. Obama’s executive order won’t expropriate guns so much as it is another precedent the government will use to change our rights into privileges. This can also affect people on Social Security, disability and also veterans. They have been encouraged to collect disability payments for emotional problems related to their service.

A man e mailed a local talk show host. He wrote that he has owned guns for over twenty years. He is a police officer. He also has some emotional problems which he keeps secret for fear of losing his right to own guns. Unintended consequences may not be as blatant as the results of Obama Care or the Arab Spring, but they are real.

  144. “So sorry counselor, my bad…. the “so called friend” of my friend called “my” friend’s doctor………”

Apology accepted. However, my opinion isn’t changed. Your story has gaps. Involuntary psychiatric evaluation doesn’t occur this way. The friend and one other with direct knowledge could pursue a petition for involuntary treatment, not a doctor that received a call from a patient’s “friend.” There’s a gap in your story — and perhaps it can be filled. But it undermines your premise.

As for the lawsuit, what you described wouldn’t give rise to one. If an order was obtained (you gotta get one from a judge; involuntary treatment ain’t self-executing and if it were Poolman wouldn’t be free to indulge his delusions with anyone other than his treating psychiatrist and other patients in his ward), there is an immunity unless it was maliciously obtained. In other words, there’s no need for new protections because they already exist. Moreover, these records and proceedings (like guardianship/conservatorship with similar implications) are always sealed.

Gotta keep it real. Just because something bad happens doesn’t mean there “good grounds for a lawsuit.”

  145. I was watching rutherford’s window on the world this morning. The new obviously poll tested phrase you will be hearing is “common sense measures.” This is the standard that will replace constitutional restrictions/separation of powers and is gobbled up by the uninitiated. They were quite pleased that these “common sense measures” were so limited in scope that the irrationality of the eeeeevil conservatives that immediately reacted was on display and clearly proven.

We may now disregard process and the erosion of constitutional restrictions so long as its impact is incremental and designated “common sense” by those with no sense at all.

  146. Common sense tells us that sancuary cities encourange the undocumented future democrat voter maker to talk to the police and help them fight crime.

Because by the way it happens on the streets of Chicago every day.

  147. Obsessed with someone else’s window on the world? Afflicted with delusions of grandeur?

    Speaking of delusion…

Soon we will get Rutherford’s site results and discover who it is that made the most comments at the bar and grill during the past year. Of course, we all can use ‘common sense measures’ to know it will likely be the same individual who topped the comment pile the previous year. Since ethics would preclude one from engaging in personal business or valueless silly debate while on another’s dime, one can only surmise that there are some individuals who have more idle time available to them throughout each day than others.

  148. How does one account for the countless hours spent locating YouTube videos created by respected scientists and investigators proving all widely-broadcast tragedies are fake?

  149. The new obviously poll tested phrase you will be hearing is “common sense measures.</blockquote?

Common sense measures replacing what works with what sounds good. 😈 Which reminds me of another quote by Thomas Sowell with respect to Obama's signature piece of legislature:

“It is amazing that people who think we cannot afford to pay for doctors, hospitals, and medication somehow think that we can afford to pay for doctors, hospitals, medication and a government bureaucracy to administer it.”

  150. “Instead of screaming about his rights being violated, DR should be mocking the prez for a relatively weak-ass move.”

Weak-ass move? The move is doing precisely what was intended: to vilify, create division, and exploit a wedge issue. Nothing he or Congress has or can enact will have any meaningful effect on gun violence. That you think otherwise is because you accept the narrative without questioning the motive or effect.

“Fort Hood, Binghamton, Aurora, Oak Creek, Newtown, the Navy Yard, Santa Barbara, Charleston, San Bernardino. Too many,” Obama said, ticking through a list of mass shootings since the 2011 Tucson shooting that killed six and injured more than a dozen more, including former Rep. Gabrielle Giffords (D-Ariz.), who was in attendance in the East Room.”

Every example cited an irrelevancy to what he’s done or proposes. Only a liberal bafoon thinks otherwise.

  151. “So why is the POTUS crying ipso facto fake?”

What kind of man would bring up little kids murdered and then offer unconstitutional royal decrees that would have done NOTHING to stop said murders? SICK.

It would be like me weeping over your botched surgery and then listing off new regulations on the hospital cafeteria. There is just no way that can be authentic.

Of course…. .. There is also the fact that Obama is a liar and always lies about everything. So there is that too.

    And the acting… Lol.

As for China… You don’t get it. China is a living example of what happens to an unarmed population.

  152. It would be like me weeping over your botched surgery and then listing off new regulations on the hospital cafeteria.

😆 😆 😆 What a great analogy to the typical Obama policy failure.

  153. Just out of curiosity .. Rabbit, you buy from friends and relatives because of the discount? I’m asking seriously. If you need Tylenol you go to the drug store. If you need a new car, you typically go to a car dealership. Other than saving money, why buy a gun from anywhere but a gun shop?

  154. Look, when it comes to guns, this country is irrevocably screwed. There are too many out there to do a damn thing about them and regardless of the law, criminals will get their hands on them.

My exchange with Gorilla a few years ago on this was one of the few where I saw the error of my thinking. My only remaining objection is the anger that anti-gun efforts inspire in you guys. Many people cannot accept that 20 dead kids is our cost of freedom. So, many will reach for straws — for anything to make themselves believe they have done something to prevent another mass slaughter. That desire to do SOMETHING, ANYTHING, to make things better should at least inspire some sympathy from you, instead of all the snark and accusations of dark motives.

  155. “Many people cannot accept that 20 dead kids is our cost of freedom.”

You cannot accept the millions dead is the cost of totalitarianism.

But by all means, just do something, anything no matter what and no matter the consequences so you can feel good about yourself.

  156. How about arming school teachers? That’s derfinately something/anything. Instead it’s always the right’s lack of compassion and dark motives. . .

  157. I think Dems should be forced to pay for the guns that are used to kill the children. Dems just hate the mentally ill.

  158. Hey, closing borders makes some believe they have done something to prevent another mass slaughter. Does that make it valid? How about if they cry at the senseless loss of life and orphaned children?

Any snarky responses come to mind?

  159. Common sense is a term which should be banned. It has become an unintended code for the exact opposite. Common sense policies toward immigration yielded a German cover up. Middle Eastern men harassed fondled and robbed German women during New Years Eve celebrations. The press has been fairly quiet to quell anti immigrant emotions.

China may be relatively unarmed, but they still have civil unrest and protests.

Liberals are slowly turning our rights into privileges.

The best way to keep those twenty kids alive is to arm their teachers. Using them to defend security of is short sighted.

  160. Hey Merkel how’s that “migrants” welcome mat working for you. (Cologne)
Obama is no different from any POTUS that’s shed a tear. It is completely and utterly inappropriate and unbecoming. It is in many cases and definitely now with Obama and shootings shameless shit bagging. People we’re talking about a highly orchestrated event when you talk about a POTUS presentation. It isn’t/wasn’t emotion it was disgusting media masturbation for the masses so you would accept everything he said.
ID checks are not a bad idea but are not the safety valve some want you to believe. Gun shows and straw sales are a terrible concept and should be outlawed…BY CONGRESS AND STATE LEGISLATURES. The bogus doctor/government liaison thing is kindling for an inferno of litigation to come. Seriously people are going to sue doctors who didn’t narc on patients, patients are going to sue for being labelled and third parties etc will be suing everyone if someone shoots somebody and they have any recent history with a doctor. We have all ready seen the dynamic with both Lanza and the Colorado theater shootings. Can you say concierge medicine Tex I wish your kids well.

  161.  “If you need a new car, you typically go to a car dealership.”

Not counting my wife, who leases grocery getters…. I have never bought a car from a dealership. I drive old hoopties, dude. Car payments ain’t my bag. My truck is 22 years old. My mini van 11. I always own two old cars.

Take that back… Just remembered I did once buy a car off a lot. But…normally I don’t. The vehicle I drove to work today is a 1994, to put it in perspective.

Guns are like cars. They depreciate once you shoot them but still could be a damn good gun if the person has taken care of it.

Plus…. We are brothers…. Thats what brothers do… Sell, barter and trade shit to one another. My brother just gifted me a rifle. I sold a 357 mag to my other brother.

“That desire to do SOMETHING, ANYTHING” – R.

Really, now. Anything? Meaning the Republic and our Democracy is fodder for you and your ilk’s bird brain feel good scams. FUCK THAT.

  162. “How about arming school teachers?”

We have armed ex cops who work security.

If I’m armed and given the responsibility of a first responder, I want a raise. And a pretty big one. The training involved would have to be pretty intense and regular.

    Now…do I wish I could secretly pack my 38?

    Yes.

At the end of the day, liberty will always be one giant soft target.

  163. “If I’m armed and given the responsibility of a first responder, I want a raise. And a pretty big one. The training involved would have to be pretty intense and regular.”

For the record, I wasn’t being serious. I was just playing the game. The manipulative “just do anything” or you’re heartless, racist, or dangerous is limitless and total bullshit.

  164. I’ve wondered the same about Obama. He also hates soldiers. I think it is indigenous to so called progressives.

Maybe we don’t need to worry so much. I just read an article about the possibility of Yellowstone Park’s blowing some day.

  165. But Alfie… That made Rutherford feel good. You didn’t get the memo?

He says that’s more important then worrying about the cluster fuck of unconstitutional, ad hoc, bad policy.

    Get with the program.

And by the way… He cried maaaaan. It means more because he cried.

God this country is fucked. There are millions of Rutherfords out there.

  166. There are millions of Rutherfords out there.

Naaaah, worry not. Thousands upon thousands of Trump supporters are gonna vote for someone and it won’t be Hillary.

  167. The minstrel in the gallery looked down upon the
    smiling faces.
He met the gazes — observed the spaces between the

He brewed a song of love and hatred — oblique

    He polarized the pumpkin-eaters — static-humming

    (salaried and collar-scrubbing).
He titillated men-of-action — belly warming, hands

  168. Why does Obama hate vets so much?

Emblematic of the greatness of America. Obama hates anything that is not darkness – a wicked and evil misanthrope, in the mold of Soros. The audacity of a malcontent.

  169. The Democrat Party today announced that it is changing its symbol from the Donkey to a Condom because it more accurately reflects the Party’s political stance.

A condom allows for inflation, halts production, destroys the next generation, protects a bunch of pricks, and gives you a sense of security while you’re actually being screwed!

  170. Email: Hillary Personally Ordered Aide to Strip Classified Markings Out of Classified Document and Send It “Nonsecure”

    Real shocker.

  171. Did Donald Trump kind of shut Hillary up a bit there with his return fire?

I had a disturbing nightmare that I was in an alley and a 70s pimp caddy blocked my way (I was on foot) and a Huggy Bear type dude got out and I turned to flee and another car with tinted windows spun in and blocked my exit and all the doors started opening. I bolted awake so don’t ask me what happened next.

I got involved in reading about the Germany insanity last night before going to bed and the beyond absurd remarks made by the mayor and the chancellor naturally troubled me. That Jimmy Kimmel clip up there is real. The whole world has lost it.

  172. The document dump yesterday went especially well I thought. None of us frogs know we’re being cooked and even if we did – what’s to be done about it?

Cummings and Shiff make me sick.

  173. “After senior adviser Jake Sullivan emailed her about “issues sending secure fax,” Clinton suggested he turn it “into nonpaper w/no identifying heading and send nonsecure.”

Nonpaper refers to an informal document, without official markings like letterhead or logos, not saved for records.”

Oh and this is the same woman who also said “What you mean like with a cloth?”

    Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck.

  174. Watch Rand Paul explain something fairly simple to Whoopie while she and the other dumbasses are at least pretending to listen. And then when he’s finished Whoopie just repeats what she said in the first place and the damned clapping seals clap AGAIN. I’m surprised Rand just didn’t pull out a pistol and stick it in his mouth right then and there.

  175. Rabbit, the shotgun video is hilarious and actually proves something you didn’t want to prove — that some folks have NO business handling a gun. But to YOUR point (that Biden is a liar) can you visually verify from the video what guns were used? Can you say with clarity that the “safe shooters” were using an AR-15? I can’t but I don’t know guns. I assume you do. Is it clearly an AR-15?

  176. The “congratulate North Korea” video is full of the type of folks who would vote for Trump — yes the folks in the video had a “liberal look” about them but as far as their shallowness of thought, pure Trump voters. I watched his Vermont appearance last night and could have sworn he literally had baboons in the audience based on the grunts and shouts he got.

Yes, toss all the deflective references to Obama at me that you want. Trump is the logical extreme of where the GOP has been headed for some time. They are now scared shitless about the monster they have created which has turned on them and is hijacking their party. I’d be fucking delighted if it weren’t so damn depressing and dangerous.

If Bernie had a foreign policy, I’d talk more about him. I’d be more excited about him. But he doesn’t have a clue about what to do about radical Islam — if there is anything that CAN be done about it.

I am more conflicted than ever. I absolutely love the horse race. Always have. But I am also so disgusted at how unserious all the players are. I was high on Christie and then he fucked up earlier this week saying he felt NO sympathy for Iran losing one of its clerics to Saudi execution. Pure political statement showing no nuance of thought. If he governs that way, we are screwed.

  177. Hey Rabbit, Tigre and Tex – when your disdain for those who are shaken up by 20 dead first graders prompts a PsyOps video by Poolman, maybe its time to rethink your position?

  178. “Rabbit, the shotgun video is hilarious and actually proves something you didn’t want to prove — that some folks have NO business handling a gun.”

You think DR believes some people shouldn’t be handling guns and he wouldn’t proof otherwise? Are you retarded?

  179. “Hey Rabbit, Tigre and Tex – when your disdain for those who are shaken up by 20 dead first graders. . . ”

My “disdain” for those who are shaken up by 20 dead first graders?

    Go fuck yourself.

  180. You know short of his malignant narcissism, I believe Barack Obama’s worst trait is political expediency. I think those tears were tears of a transparent wooden actor – full of himself; a misanthrope. If the tears were real, it was the self-realization that Barack Obama has realized he’s a miserable failure, a polarizing figure, and a has-been. Good riddance.

But I did read an interesting article today. Now I hold no hope that Hillary Clinton will ever be convicted of anything. The Federal Courts are packed with Clinton lackeys and both the Clintons and the Obamas operate above the law. Short of divine intervention, there will never be true justice for the sins wraught by both the Clintons and the Obamas. They are soulless of and of the devil.

However, this article makes a good case that Hillary Clinton’s time as a candidate might be numbered. I would guess waiting in the wings is the female equivalent of Obama, one Lizzie Warren, to ride in as the Progressive White Knight.

All but the mindless realize Bernie Sanders is a joke and even as screwed up as the country is, not electable.

But Lizzie on the other hand….

    https://pjmedia.com/trending/2016/1/8/rumor-mill-hillary-facing-criminal-indictment-obama-2016-surprise-in-the-works

  181. Tigre the bullshit about Obama’s “act” is pretty sickening. I could see it if you had Alfie’s attitude about the dignity of the office (“there’s no crying in baseball”) but that’s not where you’re coming from. You’re suggesting Obama doesn’t give a shit about the kids and will use any excuse to take away your gun.

Agree that some steps should be taken to decrease gun violence in America OR laugh at and ridicule the President. Which choice do you gravitate to?

I wonder how much Obama-bashing would ensue if some Newtown parents were on this blog?

  182. “Funny how a handful of brothers with clubs who have the SCARY name “The New Black Panthers” make the bar. . . blah, blah, blah.”

Is there some question in your mind about how the DOJ will respond to the Yeehadists dumbass?

  183. Those were crocodile tears and his measures have nothing to do with Sandy Hook or the other tragedies dummy. It was theatre. Directed at morons like you.

You haven’t a clue how I feel about Sandy Hook.

  184. No black group could pull a stunt like this for 15 minutes.

Really? While I seem to remember someone named Eric Holder who participated in taking over a building on the Columbia campus, holding a gun while student.

As a freshman at Columbia University in 1970, future Attorney General Eric Holder participated in a five-day occupation of an abandoned Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) headquarters with a group of black students later described by the university’s Black Students’ Organization as “armed,”

While Holder may not have been holding a weapons, some of his comrades in arms apparently claimed to.

Why is Commie Jones not indignant over that little fact? The selective memory of Progs is something to behold.

  185. “You’re suggesting Obama doesn’t give a shit about the kids and will use any excuse to take away your gun.”

I never said he didn’t give a shit about the kids. Ever. You shallow fuck.

  186. “I wonder how much Obama-bashing would ensue if some Newtown parents were on this blog?”

It wouldn’t change for me. Using those dead kids as a prop is sickening.

  187. Magilla posted that shotgun video a couple years ago when Biden made the idiot statement. Since, gun ownership has become as big a divide issue as race and abortion. No one apparently understands the meaning of the term ‘infringe’. If they did, they would see that any law regarding arms is an infringement. Now they are trying to demonize the word militia. That is much of why this Bundy psyop was done.

There is so much more evidence today proving 20 first graders didn’t die at sh and there’s a massive effort to keep that information deep sixed. But, but, but… we WANT to believe the government’s feary tales… Anderson and Obama say it’s true. When do liars ever tell the truth?

  188. “Agree that some steps should be taken to decrease gun violence in America OR laugh at and ridicule the President. Which choice do you gravitate to?”

What steps did Obama take that will decrease gun violence in America?

  189. “Funny how a handful of brothers with clubs who have the SCARY name “The New Black Panthers” make the bar patrons piss their pants but a bunch of hillbilly yahoos armed to the teeth get a “nothing to see here””

I’m the one who brings up the NBPP most often around here. Was I somehow unclear as to my feelings regarding the idiots in Oregon?

“If it were me, I’d place the building under siege…”

  190. Lest you forget, Rutherford, that one of those “brothers with clubs”–who was outside a polling place with his club–is on tape calling for the killing of white people…”and they babies”.

But there was nothing to see there, right?

This time you brought it up.

  191. I never said he didn’t give a shit about the kids.

So bridge for me faking tears to he really cares about the kids.

Naaaah, don’t bother. It’s part of your lawyer rhetoric.

  192. “It is in many cases and definitely now with Obama and shootings shameless shit bagging. People we’re talking about a highly orchestrated event when you talk about a POTUS presentation. It isn’t/wasn’t emotion it was disgusting media masturbation for the masses so you would accept everything he said.”

    Rutherford didn’t mean you Alfie.

  193. Hey now Obama can suggest that you and Republicans and congress (this one, not the last one though) don’t give a shit about dead kids or sick kids or poor kids or Syrian kids, Tigre, but you had better not suggest that Obama doesn’t give a shit about 20 dead kids.

  194. Well you know how I disdain those people that were shaken by the tragedy.

That’s some mighty clear thinking Rutherford.

And your comprehension skills when it comes to what Alfie said are really impressive.

  195. Of course, we can all expect that Rutherford would have no problem if the DOJ stood by while skinheads stood outside of a polling place with bats. Because. . . something about us not saying something about the Y’allquaida that hasn’t already been said.

(I assume he’s talking about James).

  196. “But he gives a shit about the kids. Right?”

Yes, Rutherford. I know this is hard for you to understand. But he can care about kids and still exploit them to lead weak intellects like you around so you don’t notice he’s done absolutely nothing to prevent it from happening again. Nothing.

Other than simply supporting and defending Obama as a person, what have you got for Sandy Hook? Obama has nothing. Why don’t you care enough to even think past feeding your need to vilify those that don’t agree with the stupid proposals and overreach. If you really cared. . . .

  197. Here he is in action, Rutherford. Listen to all the solutions. So coherent. Bullet proof logic there. We have no choice but to go with this or we are heartless.

    What an idiot.

  198. “the shotgun video is hilarious and actually proves something you didn’t want to prove — that some folks have NO business handling a gun.”

    Got me dude.

“But to YOUR point (that Biden is a liar) can you visually verify from the video what guns were used?

Yes, Belky, those were shot guns.

    Such a critical thinker, brah.

  199. “Here he is in action, Rutherford. Listen to all the solutions. So coherent. Bullet proof logic there. We have no choice but to go with this or we are heartless.”

Tigre…. He had his finger to his mouth showing us he was listening….. It doesn’t matter that he made no sense. Duh. Rutherford already pointed out that making sense doesn’t matter. Becuase of tears. And Obama. And tears.

  200. Just think if the lowlife Jon Stewarts and MSNBC zombies and Candy Cow-lys hadn’t run interference for this bumberer.

  201. “Why don’t you care enough to even think past feeding your need to vilify those that don’t agree with the stupid proposals and overreach. If you really cared. . . .”

Hell, maybe it is Rutherford who really doesn’t care about the kids.

    It’s all about Rutherford.

    And HIS feelings.

So, falsely using the kids as an example for unconstitutional decrees where said decree has NOTHING to do with those kids brings pleasure to Rutherford becuase Rutherford actually wants NOTHING to do with those kids. It feels good to him.

    Self centered.

  202. OK, we need to perform mandatory castration prior to entry to the US. If we can prevent just one rape, right Obama?

Media blackout on two underage German girls that were reportedly (as in officially reported the attacks to the authorities) gang raped on New Years Eve.

    Auf Wiedersehen, Germany. Enjoy extinction.

  203. “Other than simply supporting and defending Obama as a person, what have you got for Sandy Hook? Obama has nothing. Why don’t you care enough to even think past feeding your need to vilify those that don’t agree with the stupid proposals and overreach. If you really cared. . . .”

    Word.

  204. Bullet proof logic there.

She says “we can’t outlaw murder” and you have the unmitigated gall to lecture me about logic.

99.9% of us would never kill anyone anyway. Yeah that’s the ticket.

Since so many of us are good people why don’t we just do away with all those pesky laws? Criminals are just gonna break them anyway!!!

  205. “She says “we can’t outlaw murder” and you have the unmitigated gall to lecture me about logic.”

Obviously, she meant “you can’t outlaw [away] murder.” So obvious, that your inability to follow it makes the point.

Obama’s word salad is no better than yours.

  206. “Since so many of us are good people why don’t we just do away with all those pesky laws? Criminals are just gonna break them anyway!!!”

    Gawd.

  207. Rutherford I made it pretty clear I condemn all POTUS tears in the planned presentation setting. Given that consistency I am justified in my belief that Obama courted dishonesty and exploitation to act on an agenda item he has held for a long time.
I don’t doubt that as a human and a parent Barack Obama is capable of deep empathy and sorrow for the loss of the elementary school kids but I (no doubt secondary my own detachment issues) can’t swallow that he cries for them honestly. For fucks sake if he is of that make up he should be dehydrated from the body counts his Administration has tallied up.

  208. Rutherford if we’re talking about the same video I would say that the “calmer” firearm is in fact some type of 5.56 mm semi-automatic in the M4/AR15 style. The one in the video, except for the magazine would be compliant in many states,MA & CA for example.

  209. Obviously, she meant “you can’t outlaw [away] murder.”

A distinction with zero difference Mr. Parser.

Wanna place a hypothetical bet? I’m guessing she’s conservative. If I said to her (and you) the war on terror is ridiculous because you can’t war against an idea, both of you would get your shorts in a knot. But I’m supposed to accept “you can’t outlaw away murder”??

So again, why have laws? You can’t outlaw AWAY anything.

I’ll answer the question for you. Laws serve two purposes. First, deterrence, second punishment. Every law violation has a punishment associated with it. The hope is the punishment ain’t worth the crime for MOST of us. For those unmoved, the hope is that justice is done if they are caught.

Every gun control idea out there, no matter how ill conceived, is there for deterrence. Make it a little harder for those on the margins to do harm. It’s fixing around the edges.

The fact that logical measures such as universal background checks don’t “outlaw away” murder doesn’t make them a bad idea.

  210. “Since so many of us are good people why don’t we just do away with all those pesky laws? Criminals are just gonna break them anyway!!!”

I see we’re back to this nonsense.

  211. Rutherford is trying to say that the video makers are lying because that second gun isn’t an AR-15.

    Lie to me, Joe.

  212. You should have. The funny thing is she’s clearly an intelligent woman based on much of what she said but she screwed the pooch with “the can’t outlaw murder” and “most of us wouldn’t kill anyone” comments.

Had she not been the snipers widow there’s no way she would have been allowed to go on so long. I was shocked O didn’t cut her off. Much like Jorge Ramos, she didn’t ask a question. She made a speech.

Had she been a lib, Trump would have told her to sit down and shut up. 😀

  213. I have no idea if it’s an AR-15. That’s why I asked those who do. Alfie answered the question.

Certainly we’re not suggesting pro-gun anti-Biden folks are incapable of misleading propaganda. Just trying to get some facts from resident experts, that’s all.

  214. What Rutherford said is pure nonsense.

The best part is, I wasn’t trying to get his take on what Mrs. Kyle said. I was directing him to Obama’s incoherent blabbering. Music for morons.

I should say I am stunned by Rutherford’s inability to follow Mrs. Kyle’s point. But I am not. It’s his game. Not one word about Obama’s rambling stupidity.

    https://yourlogicalfallacyis.com/personal-incredulity

Rutherford, your inability to reason is sad. It’s why the staged weep-a-thon works for you. Emotion is your substitute for logic.

    We must do ANYTHING!!!!

    Duh.

  215. For the record carbines are far easier to handle over a shotgun and some of the shorter ones in 40 or 45 are excellent home defense options.

  216. “It’s his game” – Tigre

Is it though? To this day, I cant figure him out. The smoke screens he throws up are so obvious and child like… Usually when a teenager deflects, he doesn’t want to have a conversation to begin with Not the case here. I don’t get it.

He’s like Obama. Lie on Friday night just to make it until Monday.

In Rutherford’s case, he screams about a dozen squirrels just so he can avoid the real point for a couple days. Just throw shit against a wall…. Any shit… And hope it sticks.

Man ol’ man does he appear low IQ when he does it.

  217. DR, I don’t get it either. He pretends that the concept of “you can’t legislate a solution to every problem” is incomprehensible.

To avoid the divine stuttering nonsense from Obama he came here to argue?

Sounds of Rutherford’s tantrum-panic always intensify as the foundations of his cult beliefs crumble. And Obama knows it. That’s why he assembled the useful idiots for a rally, referring to the by-invitation-only infomercial as a “town hall.” Talk about adding cherries to undignified shit sundae.

  218. “To avoid the divine stuttering nonsense from Obama he came here to argue?”

I think you answered your own question.

    He’s in a cult.

And he has the gall to mock Christianity. He spends all week telling us about all the things that don’t matter becuase his emotions are more important. (Notice his emotions are by defualt more important then mine… The high ground is a fixed given).

Things that are not important as Rutherford’s feely feels:

1.The Constitution and the basic framework of this Republic. It doesn’t matter if the POTUS legislates.

The policy itself can be nonsensical and the examples used for said legislation can also be nonsensical. Why? Becuase the examples make him emotional.

“The more modest its intellectual ballast, the more exclusively it takes into consideration the emotions of the masses, the more effective it will be. And this is the best proof of the soundness or unsoundness of a propaganda campaign, and not success pleasing a few scholars or young aesthetes.

The art of propaganda lies in understanding the emotional ideas of the great masses and finding, through a psychologically correct form, the way to the attention and thence to the heart of the broad masses. ”

    Adolph Hitler
    Mein Kamph

Rutherford is a fascist. And a great danger to freedom.

  219. “Biden will not run.”

I wouldn’t be so sure. He has already expressed feelings of regret that he didn’t.

And if Hillary was out, who would beat him? He’d be the instant nominee and probably the next POTUS.

  220. Got to remember that Rutherford was indoctrinated into the messianic qualities of Obama, willingly and enthusiastically. I remember the Rutherford of old well. Utterly hoodwinked and full of himself, his buddy Chen and he yuck yucking over the failures of George Bush, assured that Progressivism was the cornerstone of utopia. Chen was a coward and bailed six months into the unmitigated disaster. Rutherford drove the entire interstate to ruin – a true believer, devout in his faith.

Rutherford was transfixed on Obama, probably shed tears over the magic negro. Heal the planet, usher in world peace, heal the racial divisions, control the debt, restore the middle class, repair and mend broken relationships, end terrorism, all of them within reach.

Only a true believer would have bought off on such nonsense. And true believers, incapable of understanding how profane that appeared to the rest of us then, and oblivious to how profoundly stupid it looks to all the world but them now, predictably have moved on to the next buffoon. Feel the Bern!

Obama is passe’ – now it’s simple reactionary instinct to defend, but the heart isn’t in it anymore.

  221. He pretends that the concept of “you can’t legislate a solution to every problem” is incomprehensible.

Of course it’s comprehensible but it’s for 5 year olds.

Tigre and Rabbit, PLEASE tell me when we have legislated enough? Where’s the line? Is the line where your inconvenience begins? Is the line that the guy at the gun show has to have a gun dealers license? THAT’S A HUGE INFRINGEMENT???

Why aren’t you screaming when a cop issues you a summons for not wearing your seat belt? It’s your business if you want to risk your safety. Sounds like gov overreach to me. But you reserve your outrage for fucking guns!!

By the way, from what I’ve seen, Obama’s EO has zero effect on Rabbit. It doesn’t address private sales and sure as hell doesn’t address gifting.

My guess is Obama’s answer rambled because he was walking on egg shells with a hero’s widow. In a decently articulate speech (not a question, a speech) she said two stunningly stupid things and I know you’d sooner die than concede it. Fuck, you’d sooner die than concede anything.

  222. Rutherford is a fascist. And a great danger to freedom.

lololol!!! Are you telling me “they’re coming to take your guns” is NOT an appeal to emotion? Are you shitting me?

  223. And if Hillary was out, who would beat him?

Unless she’s a coward, Lizzie will get in and wipe Bernie off the map.

Besides, for all the pro-Israel bullshit, America ain’t putting a Jew in the WH any time soon.

  224. Much actual truth to Tex’s summary. Among us, only James is old enough to remember JFK. I wanted my JFK. My youthful vibrant articulate leader expressing my ideals.

Didn’t work out that way. And of course, JFK wasn’t JFK in the first place.

If I’m guilty of anything it’s the immaturity to believe in heroes outside the realm of comic books.

  225. Rutherford, I am convinced you’re struggling emotionally. Your circular yammering is just plane old stoooopid. You need to give being an easily manipulated fool and go cry it out or something. We already know you’re threatened by the fact that Dear Leader is fallible.

“By the way, from what I’ve seen, Obama’s EO has zero effect on Rabbit. It doesn’t address private sales and sure as hell doesn’t address gifting.”

Obama’s EO has zero effect on Sandy Hook or anything else cited in support of it. Your effort to misdirect isn’t working. Let it go.

  226. “Tigre and Rabbit, PLEASE tell me when we have legislated enough? Where’s the line? Is the line where your inconvenience begins? Is the line that the guy at the gun show has to have a gun dealers license? THAT’S A HUGE INFRINGEMENT???”

Like having an ID to vote.

  227. What does the EO have to do with Sandy Hook or any of his other examples cited?

Not a damn thing. The idea is to take measures to make our gun culture be under better control.

I’m out. Enjoy Huck’s film review.

  228. Yes, I am old enough to remember JFK and also Elvis.

Irrational emotionality surrounded them just as it did Fins and their relatives when elite scientists declared them to be Asian and not Europeans. In reality they were more Cro -magon.

Like Jousnen Jarvid’s people, Elvis and JFK were emotionally driven creations of their fans into what they believed they wanted them to be.

“Race music” was becoming popular with baby boomer teenagers. They were the first generation with a large disposable income, and smart businesses people wanted a share of the wealth. Several independent record companies searched for a white man who could sing black.

Elvis, a nineteen year old truck driver hung around the Sun studio so often he was like a family member. Elvis grew up on black rhythm and blues, gospel, hillbilly music and Texas swing, Elvis incorporated the varied forms into a new kind of music. Elvis wasn’t the first, but he told Sam Philips “I don’t sing like no. body.” And he was right.

Elvis gyrated because he was used to such moves in church, and because he had terrible stage fright. His shaking was an attempt to hide his trembles and when he learned girls swooned, he incorporated it into his act.

Elvis became the King of Rock and Roll, but his ambition had always been to be a movie star. Elvis had some acting talent, but his managers wasted him on what sold to the sexual fantacys of teen aged girls.

I was just a kid, but I knew a cultural chasm had opened and that the older generation was struggling in vain to close it.

Kennedy was also such a star. Compared to Old Ike, Kennedy was our future as a new generation took over. Young women treated him like Elvis or Chuck Berry. They didn’t care about his policies. Pop stars sang songs about Kennedy and PT 109. His big hair was its own celebrity. Jackie became a star in her own right. Touch football games and his urging the next generation to act with vigar added to his star power. Young people walked for miles because Kennedy said they should.

We knew Kennedy had a bad back because of his football injuries and his WW11 ordeal, and people bought rocking chairs because he used one for his back. The press hid the tawdry drug and sex bits, though there were hints.

The same emotionality has given us Trump and Sanders.

  229. I was in fifth grade when Elvis and his imitators took over. Our minister told us such music was of the Devil, and while she didn’t forbid me from listening to it, my mother let me know this music was dark and sinister, designed to corrode our nation’s moral fabric.

Even then, I knew Elvis was part of a cultural revolution. Long live teenagers!

  230. Unchained Melody was our song for a while. Thanks to the Air Force, my future wife and I did not see each other for almost two years. When we saw each other again after what seemed to be a life time, we clung to each other in the airport for fear we would be parted again. We were, but we have been emotionally together for 52 years and married for 48.
