Happy Birthday to (Most of) America

If you don’t wear blinders you can be sure that some group of lowlife scum will make you ashamed of being American on the 4th of July. Such was the case this week in Murrieta, California. Fifty of our finest citizens with the IQ of a gnat impeded the progress of a bus carrying illegal immigrants to a government holding facility.

Armed with the typical placards demonstrating their superior intellect, the “protesters” yelled “go home”, all red faced and angry. This might not have been so unusual if the bus had been full of “Mexicans out to steal our jobs” but the bus was full of women and mostly children fleeing South American oppression. Yes, that’s right folks. Some of our fellow Americans (in name only) stood in front of a bus and terrorized little children.

The bus was in compliance with the law. The protesters blocking traffic were not. The cops on the scene did nothing.

So here is my solution. Had I been the bus driver, I would have gone Tiananmen square on their ass. I would have yelled out my window to thugs and cops alike, “move or be moved.”. Then, after a five-count, I would have put the foot to the floor and mowed every one of those motherf*ckers down. Don’t tread on me, indeed.

What about scared little children did these mental midgets not understand? I don’t care what your politics are. Angry with Obama, fine. Angry with Congress, go for it. But in a humanitarian crisis, you leave the kids alone.

These fifty or so idiots don’t get a “Happy Independence Day” from me. They defy everything that is great about our nation.

Respectfully,
Rutherford

  1. Rutherford –

It’s not apparent if you really believe that or you are just pulling some chains. If the latter, it’s a little disingenuous because the chains here are so easy to pull that it isn’t that much of a challenge.

You people are going to have to decide: do you want your borders controlled or wide open?

If you choose wide open, then you should take a look at how the muslims are destroying Europe and then think again. If you choose control, then you need to force your politicians – especially the one at the top – to enforce the law. Or change the law and then enforce THAT.

The first step in any emergency – and you DO have an emergency – is to stop the bleeding. That means physically control your borders first. Since the Mexican border it your primary problem, begin there – with a wall – a REAL wall.

The second step is to decide what you are going to do with the aliens already there. I don’t think you have any choice but to find a path to citizenship, since so many “anchor babies” have been born in the States, and are therefore citizens. And after all, their parents may be illegals, but YOUR GOVERNMENT invited them there.

The third step is to amend your constitution to state that citizenship requires both parents to be citizens. The “American born” provision was not in the original constitution, but added later, via the fourteenth amendment. It could be repealed and changed.

Or you could just run your bus over the protesters.

  2. Happy Independence Day. You revived some memories. We were out of the country, but we heard of the anti war protests at home and that protesters sometimes blocked traffic, Our NCOIC said if he was there, he would drive through the protesters as you suggested you might.

Those children and teenagers are part of a cynical plan to force Congress to write an amnesty law which Obama will bend to his will and change from how It is intended Someone found a loop hole in a law Bush signed around 2002, and “surprise surprise!”

Many of the children are sick and infested with parasites. Some as alfie noted are in crowded conditions for up to 72 hours. That is time for diseases to spread. As the government distributes them through out the country, we risk fighting diseases virtually unknown here for years. I don’t know where the virus came from, but a school in Sacramento has a TB outbreak. I suspect the disease has a foreign source.

“My” government is not my government. It is as Sami singer Sofia Jannok described, an “occupying regime.” Star Jones said on the View after the election that W Bush was not her president. If the observation is good for her, it is good for me.

The first step and nothing else, is to control the border . Laws already written order the Federal government to do so, but it won’t. Read Obama’s books and read about his mentors. Obama wants to change the US into a basically third world country with a permanent under class dependent on Democrats.

Amending the Constitution will be difficult because too many people are clueless or dependent on the status quo. That includes people on the dole and businesses which exploit aliens to keep wages down.

I agree, most of the aliens who are here will need a path to citizenship. We need to restrict the border before that happens. Other countries, including Mexico control their borders. We must too.

The people who blocked the buses live closer to the problem than we do, though that will change. They are like the anti-war protesters of the sixties, Bundy, the Nevada rancher who stopped the government from taking his land for awhile, Tank Man, the Ukrainians, the Egyptians, Pussy Riot, Culpepper and organizers of the Whiskey Rebellion.

Even dictators rule by the consent of the governed. When people have had enough they will rebel. Sometimes they fail as the Kurds and Hungarians did, but sometimes they succeed. They are a symbol of what made this country. Our leaders need to learn to fear their citizens again.

  3. Rutherford in your faux rage or perhaps just eagerness to find a progressive win you latched onto a false entity and ran in a circle.
I don’t know what source prompted your post but after reviewing a number of possibilities I have to say you must have been exposed to a very abridged, condensed or otherwise shaky one.
I no longer know how far you want to take an issue anymore or how capable you are of dealing with one in the first place. I do know the masses are continuing to consume bad information on this particular topic and just accelerating idiocy.
For this case in CA some of the holes include:
That the buses appear to be woman AND children. This would lead one to believe that these were Mexicans and not necessarily anything connected to the spike in Central American UAC/UAM’s. As such the ultimate result will be u turning the folks.

That CBP facilities are stretched to say the least but that doesn’t forfeit that much of the “insider” information fueling some of the headlines are based in a labor dispute more than anything else.

That conflicting group think is trying to nuance words is evident by the fresh move on illegal immigration being a humanitarian crisis not an immigration or law violation thing.

That the Obama Administration although complicit in allowing this crisis to occur has in fact pursued the law to be changed that others than Mexicans get u turned too.

  4. Since my previous comment @Fox-Fair and Balanced is pertinent to the new post, I am reposting.

Alfie, I don’t think most people know that there is a difference between among the UAC in Mexico versus Central America and that the HHS has been serving these children on a yearly basis. I think we need to look at why this has become a “hot” item to the news media.

“The HHS usually serves between 7,000 and 8,000 children a year. The official from HHS said they’d seen a 77 percent increase from the norm since January.  She said the agency didn’t know why there was a huge influx of children. “It’s not our job to know these things,” she said. “Maybe it’s a question for the State Department or the Department of Homeland Security.”
    http://www.texasobserver.org/us-government-sees-spike-in-children-fleeing-central-americas

  5. @ James We all retain history as we see it and I guess that’s the way it goes. I do have to say that I hope you can alter your take on Bundy. He wasn’t trying to keep his land.

  6. @ Raji yeah I know its something I think is important to the discussion too. I think the spike is a crisis but I also think the humanitarian crisis we as Americans should be concerned about is the one we’re creating on this side of the border.Central America needs to solve its issues and where others including us can help so be it. taking people in just because they come from a stink hole isn’t a sustainable solution.
The thing that bothers me the most about this current news cycle is that whether its malice or laziness or whatever too much truth is being crushed and pockets of folks are being allowed to make wild charges that all of us will pay for later.

  7. alfie, I know Bundy is leasing government land, but he believes the federal government is treating him unfairly. I believe that based on others’ experiences in Nevada and other states, he is right. The government had more peaceful options to use than threatened armed force He is a poor symbol, maybe in a class with Pussy Riot or the sixties and seventies anti-war movement, but he does symbolize citizens who stand against heavy-handed government bullying.

My perception is colored by the state of Iowa’s stealing seven hundred acres of family and neighbors’ land after my great aunt died in 1964. The owners had paid property taxes for at least forty years, and nothing was refunded. One of the lawyers said it was a crooked set up with the result fore ordained.

The state took our land for a conservation refuge.

“I live as I choose, or I will not live at all.
So return to where you come from

So to hell with what you’re thinking
    Because I’m free to decide.”

    The Cranberries Free to Decide.

I think that song mirrors the thoughts of most protesters, including those who fought for independence from Britain.

I am moving into Poolman’s territory with my conspiratorial writing about Obama’s plans to use the children’s migration, but the scenario fits with his history on so many other scandals.

  8. Rutherford?

Like Nancy Pelosi, I will happily provide the HHS with your name and address to house many of these poor, oppressed folk should you provide your physical address.

Handed pick with TB, scabies and lice for your pleasure. I know you and your wife, great humanitarians one and all, would want to help. If the apartment too small, the club house will suffice as comfortable holding tank.

You Lefties talk a great game…as long as it’s others having to do the lifting.

That’s why from the start I haven’t been screaming for deportation. I’ve been screaming for Operation Benevolent Barack – anyone caught crossing that border becomes a candidate for residency in Washington D.C., 1600 Pennsylvania Ave or any sanctuary city.

Let the people who created the problem, deal with the problem. And we’ll see how far your bleeding heart can stretch.

  9. @James I think there is reasonable cause to believe Obama views the influx of unaccompanied minors to be a separate issue and a real thorn in his side from the immigration topics he truly wants. It is backed up by his attempt to alter the Wilberforce law to extend a key provision to Central American persons that all ready applies to Mexicans. Many folks including too many GOP and (D) reps alike are opposed to this change because of a couple of reasons. On the GOP side I think hate and distrust rate highest. The dems fail to see how obeying sound law doesn’t need to be spun for the folks you are afraid of offending.
Immigration reform is needed, must include tighter security at the border BUT MUST ALSO INCLUDE A RETURN OF THE OLD QUOTA SYSTEM. This time the quotas need to be aimed at skills and impact on local services as opposed to trying to balance race and ethnic issues.
The last one is the most important and is the part that gets porked time and time again.

  10. On a related note there are a number of communities two right here in Blue MA that have asked, begged, pleaded and demanded the Feds stop sending refugees to their locations. These cities are low socioeconomic munis that really can’t afford any more friction from low skill unassimilated folks.
The Atlanta metro has also made calls to the Feds to stop sending folks. Perhaps ET can speak to this. The area has been heavy generous in attempting to absorb refugees, especially folks from Bhutan. They need the flow to stop so they can actually work on the issue without more folks flooding in. FWIW I think the requests need to be honored.
Back to the point I was trying to drive home in the prior thread. The UACs are viewed as potential refugees not immigrants, aliens, illegals etc etc. That’s why the two prong system is in effect.

  11. I wanted to say that the health concerns and potential community impacts thing is a good topic but needs the rhetoric ratcheted down a bit.
The cases of scabies, lice, dengue and swine flu have been properly addressed and of public knowledge & transparent. I think the minority on the Left that overlook the actual occurrences are as bad as the minority on the Right who play it as Armageddon a comin’
Public health is an issue that should be closer to the front burners and it should be for reasons other than immigration implications. The anti immunization crowd comes to mind…

  12. The cases of scabies, lice, dengue and swine flu have been properly addressed and of public knowledge & transparent. I think the minority on the Left that overlook the actual occurrences are as bad as the minority on the Right who play it as Armageddon a comin

    Really?

That’s amazing. Because that is certainly not what doctors in TX and AZ are saying, and in fact just the opposite arguments are being made down here and much closer to the action. That is, the public is not being properly warned of the potential threats.

Medical staff warned: Keep your mouths shut about illegal immigrants or face arrest

    http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2014/07/02/medical-staff-warned-keep-quiet-about-illegal-immigrants-or-face-arrest/

  13. The bus was in compliance with the law. The protesters blocking traffic were not. The cops on the scene did nothing.

Sounds like a made-for-media event. Staged outrage is all the rage. Many make a career of it. There’s always a sideshow with this carnival. Even the cops can be part of the act. Unconventional is now sop.

Government will exploit the who and the what whenever they choose, since they are led by the same people that propagandize us. It seems that children are prime choice with the administration.

From Trayvon “he could be my son” Martin to #Save Our “they could be my daughters” Girls, children are being used and sometimes sacrificed to promote the agenda.

As to the nation’s birthday… like any other ‘holiday’, it has become a huge marketing event and many capitalize on that. For others, just another reason to party or to overeat. I suppose the dollars spent on fireworks could help the illegal children in this case, but we have to weigh the cost of our collective compassion against the value of our needed entertainment. And we must keep up the feigned patriotic front for some perceived reason, be it strength or pride or some other fallacious mumbo-jumbo.

I think we should have a memorial or a wake and pronounce a benediction for the once nation we were.

    http://henrymakow.com/2014/07/America-Remembering-God- Country.html

  14. 11 alfie,

i agree the influx of children and mature illegals are two separate issues. In fact the children are technically legal if I correctly understand the law that Bush signed in or about 2002.

I also agree to shout about the OLD QUOTA system as you did. New Zealand and Australia restrict immigration to people who can benefit their countries. Canada was being overrun by Asians until a legislator, an Asian campagned for restrictions to prevent Canada from being what he said would become an Asian country.

I hope you are right about contagious diseases, but I think it is a potential problem. Doctors and others on the border tell a disturbing story. Tex seems more credible.

An article linked to Drudge tells us that Hispanics are divided on our lack of immigration restrictions because they worry about their jobs and communities, but when pressed, they circle the wagons. Democrats hope to use the children to energize the Latin vote in the next election. Democrats will portray opponents of the children’s’ invasion as racists and bigots.

I think Obama believes he can use the children to his party’s advantage.

I saw a web site with a map of cities receiving the children, and cities blocking their entrance. Chicago is one which has blocked housing the children.

  15. Tex it will come of no surprise to you but I have to disagree with you.
Perhaps we’re two dogs gnawing on opposite ends of the same bone I don’t really know. I hope the following not too long.

The US/Mexican Border is well documented regards public health issues. That it isn’t a headline every day or an hourly news alert on the tube and net is hardly case of lacking transparency or malfeasance . Public apathy and ignorance also does not dismiss that the info is out there. I’m from MA telling you this after easily accessing a truckload of reports, alerts and stories.
Texas Public Health for instance has been very good covering such issues as the upticks in TB and pertussis. Both diseases saw increases in Texas that outpaced national averages and the cause was fairly clear. The Border with a focus on illegal entries was a clear hot spot. Perhaps this is where we’re in agreement, let me say I don’t deny the Border presents challenges to public health, hell the 300 million legal crossings per year are dangerous enough.

I find that truth to be disconnected from the headlines regards UACs though. To fire up the myth cannon that this recent spike of detentions with a specific focus on the UAC’s (which is where my points are centered) is irresponsible and unfounded. The detention centers have been clear that indeed a rushed 2000 doses of H1N1 were received after finding one case. They have also been forthcoming on the active monitoring of dengue secondary to one case. TB & scabies are hotter topics but I’ll tell you they are better dealt with regards the UAC’s than the adults. The issue of the adults brings us back to the point we agree on. Dropped at a bus stop with a court date is totally unacceptable.

As for the linked op-ed you dropped. Todd Starnes is a known liar who has zero credibility when he talks, especially when he trumps up charges using “unnamed sources.” I’ve read the BCFS hire packet and page 11 is the confidentiality agreement. It is absolute standard medical profession grade stuff. Starnes is attempting to fear monger for profit. Its sad his “article” has been picked up and that his radio show and guest appearances somehow get his stuff the Fox news touch. Seems almost libelous given Fox News does indeed try to do good work, this point even conceded by our host with his previous post.

  16. My brother can be a real prick. He brewed a massive triple Trappist ale. Mixed with a Hefewiazen. And served it up to me as if its an afternoon session beer. With an orange in it for shots sake.

    11 percent alcohol.

They all like getting me loud just because they know I cringe the next day like no other

30 people hoping I turn into Barney from the Simpsons. Including my own Dad.

    It hardly ever works.

    Today it did. Bastards
    .

  17. Ha ha ha.

Rutherford put himself out there or do anything for the community?

    LOL.

    Rutherford pay for the children?

Mark my words….Rutherford has never, repeat, never…gave 10 cents to immigration or urban America.

Can you imagine the tips this guy leaves.

That guy doesn’t even blink an eye when they kill one another.

The only shootings he mentions are white people (stooge thinks that may be a way to take our guns away. As the whimsical Pfessor likes to say….out of our cold dead hands).

Rutherford walks it like he talks it. Mowawawaeawawa!!!!!!!!

  18. I can see through the Rabbit so damn easily. The dude loves children. Can’t even enjoy a day at the fucking beach without worrying about kids drowning. RABBIT AGREES WITH THIS POST BUT IS TOO BIG A PUSSY TO ADMIT IT.

So he deflects with jokes about my driving a bus, my stinginess (by the way I tip 20%) and his drinking habits.

Man up mofo and condemn these assholes. Don’t worry, Tex will still be your best bud.

  19. Alfie, defending the post is easy. What is hard is understanding the reaction here. I appreciate your deeper analysis of the surrounding issues but you’re missing the forest for the trees.

This post is NOT about a failed immigration system. It is about abominable behavior by our fellow citizens which should be roundly condemned.

Shit, I haven’t even seen a “Rutherford you’re right, they’re assholes but …” All I’ve seen is what comes after the “but”. And accusations of faux outrage.

  20. Rabbit the only reason I’ll take your shit about my supposed lack of charity is that in your real life you have gone above and beyond to help others. You know what I’m talking about. And I dare say few of us here can match your efforts.

With that said, fuck you. 🙂

  21. I do stress over little ones. The dangerous situation has been created by policy.

Do you think I think we should in any way makes these kids suffer?

And did those people stopping the bus make kids suffer?

My beach paranoia is one of the main reasons I’m disgusted with the situation, dude.

And you and MSNBC can make that crowd seem evil all you want. If you gave shit, truly gave shit…you would have much more to say then this shallow ass blog entry.

  22. I am not missing the forest for the trees but thats a story for a different time.
I questioned what prompted you to post and then spoke to some assumptions after that. Let me go back to my original query and take another tack.
Not knowing your source I can only assume you find that the areas residents saw this transfer as unique & worthy to impede due to the gender and ages of the occupants. I feel that is without evidence. Many of those who are on record via multiple news sources (USA Today,NBC & LA Times to name three) are folks that are long invested in the issue such as Minuteman movement.
“South American Oppression”. First of all it is more correctly yet still falsely Central American Oppression. The folks are coming from El Salvador,Guatemala and Honduras NOT Chile,Uruguay or Colombia. In the future go with Latin American oppression or the like.
This is where your faux rage shone brightest though, really buying into the humanitarian crisis stuff as opposed to the illegal immigration law breaking stuff that we stupid poopy heads are on about all the time. The humanitarian crisis that we need to be concerned about is on THIS side of the border.
The follow up protest consisted of both sides being well represented btw,is that forest?trees? or irrelevant?

  23. Alfie, you’re a decent man. I don’t dispute your facts. I’ll even accept this FOX News reporter is a sham.

But I don’t think you have a very good understanding of immunology or epidemiology.

Every communicable disease starts with “one case.” By the time sickness manifests itself, the disease has by definition already spread unless the patient isolated. Most of these are not. And I believe you are seriously discounting the transportation to and fro, some on rented commercial aircraft.

This is nothing to be trifled with. And you trying to discount it doesn’t override my own daughter’s information at Memorial Hermann hospital by the very people doing some of the treatment.

You can read all the reports you want. I prefer to talk to the medical staff actually making the prognoses.

  24. @ Tex I think you know well how dangerous the world is all I’m saying is one sliver of a big pie isn’t the breaking point its being painted as.

  25. And again thanks Tex for the discussion.
@ Rutherford you know I walked from the desktop and it hit me,I am way over analyzing this thing.
That on and around July 4th American citizens took it upon themselves to exercise Constitutionally protected items such as speech and assembly and they’re the shit bags because it may have frightened a kid? A woman? A federal authority? OK later

  26. Actually Rutherford, the delineation line between you and me is a Grand Canyon wide concerning this issue.

I not only sympathize with the folks entering the fray. I admire the folks entering the fray. Now if they’re scaring the heck out of little kids by rocking buses, pelting it with rocks, screaming in the windows, maybe you have got a point.

But if they’re standing there saying NIMBY and preventing the bus from entering, then power to the people, then your argument is falling on deaf ears.

This is a crisis that you helped to create. You’ve marketed in lies, propagandized false dogma, enabled the inexcusable, been a cheerleader to corruption while for the most part ignoring the massive, ubiquitous failure for the six years I’ve known you.

It’s real easy for you being the critic 1,300 – 2,000 miles away. It’s quite another when these illegal aliens are putting up stake next door in your neighborhood.

Do you have any idea the temperature of the water sitting on the stove right now? You’re so cock sure in Obama’s ability to control, I think you forget the only thing keeping him from being run out of office is a mob that could easily be extinguished if the opponents so choose. Don’t be so sure our military could easily be persuaded to execute Executive Judgment. Obama is not nearly as popular or admired as you want to believe. And there are many with good reason who feel we are quickly approaching a Constitutional Crisis, where it just might be OUR military that frogmarches your boy wonder from OUR house.

I don’t want to hear one woe is me from you if blood begins to be shed on account of Obama’s inaction, corruption and playing toy dictator.

  27. Alfie your freedom of assembly is my disturbing the peace. They blocked the bus and forced its retreat. That is disturbing the peace. Had they yelled at the bus as it rode down the street, you’d have your first amendment defense.

My original source was … wait for it … MSNBC but in my defense I did some backup reading to vet the story a bit.

I am aware there were protesters on the other side of the issue but clearly they were not obstructing the progress of the bus.

It is also important to note that many of the assholes were not Murrieta residents but rather members of a group labeled as a hate group by the SPLC.

Perhaps Rabbit is right. Perhaps this incident is a distraction from the real issue and I fell for the distraction instead of the real issue. But this blog has always slanted toward social commentary vs hard core policy.

  28. Rutherford,

I swear the best analogy I can make to your twisted logic it to conclude the something akin to most humane way for the police to deal with a juvenile burglar is to give him a lift home with the “stuff” after the break in.

I really don’t understand the way you think. Never did.

  29. A 15-year-old U.S. citizen was severely beaten by Israeli police a couple days ago and is now being held without charges.

His crime was attending a protest in “the only democracy in the Middle East” and for being related to a boy that was burned alive by Israeli settlers. Take a good look as he is punched repeatedly in the face and then kicked in the head as he is being dragged off.

Should I go read the prior post’s comments for all the outrage over this treatment of an American? Because I’m not seeing any mention of it in this thread.

  30. Huck…..just like your laughable use of a child army in Uganda, the one that temporarily was Muslim, as your punk ass example of Christain jihad, your bitching about Israel would be tolerable if I thought you remotely understood the difference between Tel Aviv and Gaza.

But you don’t….or at least pretend not to.

Oh…but you read Edward Said and think your worthless degree gives you some insight on a post colonial world that we don’t have.

Despite living in a powder keg, a militarized shit zone, and a modern history of 6 millin incinerated, there is no comparing Jews to savage Stink Beards, despite how much you enjoyed the Chicken Tawhook at the wedding you went to.

Again… Lot to bitch about the Jews. Half those Orthadox settlers fucking nuts. But Arabs? Sheeeeeeeeet.

  31. most humane way for the police to deal with a juvenile burglar…

Your analogy fails because the children are not criminals in the sense of a burglar or true felon. Their “crime” is being dealt with through the proper channels: apprehension, holding in a facility, and for many or most, eventual deportation. None of the Asshole-50 were being asked to house these folks. The so-called protesters interfered with the LEGAL way that we deal with these folks.

  32. You know, Rabbit, I am so sick and tired of the hypocrisy. I’m with you — blacks don’t get a free pass on misbehavior because they were persecuted for 100’s OF YEARS. Israelis don’t get a free pass either. The Palestinians, by the way, didn’t gas them. The Germans did. So stop conflating.

  33. Ok rutherford I get it more about feelings than anything else. I don’t know about the distraction bit. It’s not a one off notion, the redefining of terms and casting others as you want to see them.
Huck I don’t get your point other than what appears to be a pissing match with those that side with Israel. Seriously aren’t you pretty much forfeiting that which the topic requires?

  34. “The Palestinians, by the way, didn’t gas them”

Oh…they would if they could. Even middle class American Palestinians here in America joke about the Holocaust at the dinner table.

Ever see how many copies of Mein Kamph are sold in the middle east?

I grew up among Palestinians. I heard their songs about driving the Jews in the sea for many years.

If the Arabs could, they would kill every last Jew. Every last one.

  35. Rabbit,

Rutherford and Huck are part of that unholy alliance between Islam and Leftism – and they have one overwhelming common trait if you haven’t noticed making them brothers without knowing it.

Rutherford is simply stupid about the history – he couldn’t find Israel on a map.

  36. Huck. That is “purported.” You do understand that word, don’t you?

Are you aware of Palestinian propaganda films? It’s a cottage industry. Watch and learn…dupe – you’ll need to learn how. It will look good on your resume for lead Imam as you carpet ride to Mecca, asshole.

  37. Here Rutherford, so you don’t continue to talk about historical subjects you know nothing about. And by the way, I haven’t noticed you not providing cover for bad black behavior, Trayvon™. Jog my memory.

You listen to the words yourself. You need 45 minutes of thorough instruction.

  38. If the Arabs could, they would kill every last Jew. Every last one.

I find it interesting that the observation ends there. Ever thought to ask why?

As long as the conflict is painted as good (Israel) vs evil (Arab countries) we’ll never get anywhere.

But who are we kidding? The conflict will never get resolved. And frankly it now bores me. Let them nuke the shit out of each other and be done with it. Israel is Afghanistan with a good suit and a graduate degree. It’s still a bunch of ignorant people fighting over an imaginary overlord in the sky.

  39. Rutherford is simply stupid about the history – he couldn’t find Israel on a map.

The history is ultimately stupid. If they put it behind them some progress might be made. As a Christian there is no way you could ever agree with that.

  40. And by the way, I haven’t noticed you not providing cover for bad black behavior, Trayvon™. Jog my memory.

This is why argument is not really your strong point. I’ve clearly denounced Trayvon as a thug. Your selective memory doesn’t change that.

  41. “Israel is Afghanistan with a good suit and a graduate degree. It’s still a bunch of ignorant people fighting over an imaginary overlord in the sky.”

When you have your thinking cap on, R, you can’t be beat, but this one looks like a throwaway line from when you were too tired to actually think about what you were saying.

Every country on the planet was formed after conquest or displacing the “natives.” Israel was formed through the use of force. Get over it. So was US, Britain, Australia – and everybody else, so saying they don’t belong there is BS.

And after that formation, the Jews have taken the most godforsaken piece of desert on the planet and turned it into a veritable paradise, while the “stinkbeards” – love that term – have done nothing on adjacent property but produce killing fields.

I think it is silly to say the Jews are fighting over religion. Nonsense. The Arabs may be fighting over religion, but the Jews? Are you kidding? They are fighting for their very existence.

I’d say give the whole damned place to the Jews.

  42. I will carry Parker’s point further. Every indigenous group from whom modern nations stole took from others years before. In most cases, they were at least as violent and cruel as modern land owners.

“Hot women, money and brute force” rule the world. Obama’s policy shows what happens when we forget.

  43. Rutherford, you may think the “point is NOT about a failed immigration system. It is about abominable behavior by our fellow systems which should be roundly comdemned.” I disagree. The point is about people who cross a line when they are no longer able to endure the abominable behavior inflicted by higher authorities, usually governments.

Any one of these incidents can resonate with enough people to create a peaceful or violent revolutionary movement. One was simple as Rosa Parks’ refusing to sit at the back of the bus.

Most like Cliven Bundy’s protest end badly. The sherrif and federal officials agree he should be held responsible for militia members’ pointing guns at feds. Pussy Riot staged their protest inside of a Russian Orthodox Church which Putin likes. Two members served time in jail under bad conditions. One of the women was on a hunger strike. They got out because Putin wanted to create a good image for the Winter Olympics.

Our government’s abominable behavior led those people to protest. They are not racist monsters. They are afraid for their city.

  44. Rutherford has no thinking cap. He’s an intellectual lightweight, perhaps explaining why he was so enthralled with a lightweight name Obama. Two peas in a pod, without one having a lick of charisma, the other a megalomaniac to weak minds.

Rutherford is historically ignorant, mathematically challenged, duplicitous, economically illiterate, and a textbook case of stooge subscribed to a failed ideology from the crib.

  45. This is why argument is not really your strong point. I’ve clearly denounced Trayvon as a thug. Your selective memory doesn’t change that.

You’re a liar. You only relented to admitting Martin’s thuggish behavior weeks after the rest of us recognized it, and then only when it became apparent your staled parroting of grievance hustling wasn’t selling.

As far as debate, Meh. I don’t know how you could judge, when you’re too cowardly to debate. You were secondary player to a dunce named Sandy. Gorilla slapped you shitless on your own radio show as you babbled and handed the mic to Bubblegum.

When you’re really ready to debate, let me know.

  46. The history is ultimately stupid. If they put it behind them some progress might be made. As a Christian there is no way you could ever agree with that.

The history ushered in Western Civilization, dolt.

Progress? Like your progress since the inception of your blog? The only thing I’ve witnessed you progress to is a tacit admission a supposed messiah perhaps isn’t as glamorous as you thought he’d be.

You don’t even recognize failure, much less progress.

  47. A remnant of the original tribe is all that will be saved, if you believe the scriptures as they are recorded in the Bible, the last of which were written centuries before any Khazars converted to Judaism – where 90 percent of today’s Jews trace their ancestry. 90 percent were never a part of ‘the promise’ of a land full of milk and honey.

And it is difficult to point them out on a map, at least entirely. This is due to the fact they are continuing to advance on all fronts. Like a cancer, you can watch their progression over the decades since being forcibly planted in Palestine. In reality you could point anywhere, since world domination is the end game. Google the Yinon plan, if you want to follow the program. Everyone should read the protocols. They have been followed to the letter. I guess it must be coincidence or maybe those tricky Muslims had their hand in it.

  48. R@23: “This post is NOT about a failed immigration system. It is about abominable behavior by our fellow citizens which should be roundly condemned”

Rutherford, I understand your position regarding abominable behavior and agree it should be roundly condemned but then I think the protesters such as Fred Phelps fall into the same category when his church protests military funerals and gays. I could go on and on about other protests ( Abortions/ Planned Parenthood) that should be consider as abominable behavior.

Was your post only related to the incident in question or protesting in general? If it was regarding the UAC then the following comments were pertinent to your post.

  49. Regarding the issue of disease among the UAC, it is and should be a concern. The percentage of disease if statistics were computed would probably equal the amount of disease prevalent in the refugees after Katrina. Why wasn’t the information considered news worthy on the 7-8K UAC refugees handled by the HHS yearly? Politics at work as usual.

  50. Contrary to what many tenured and comfortably retired America haters would like us to believe, disease virtually wiped out entire populations of natives having no resistance to plague, smallpox, even measles. European military might runs a distant second to European germs in conquering the New World.

Ragi @ #55 – you could add the Weather Underground and Occupy Cleveland to that short list of abominabullies.

”You know, Rabbit, I am so sick and tired of the hypocrisy.” –R

    So stop shaving, Ouroboros.

  51. Obama is the President of Doing Nothing. Nothing but give sip service to being sick and tired of a do-nothing congress and threaten to “do stuff” on his own. What an ignoramus. Why, he’s just gonna do stuff on his own. So embarrassing. He’s completely unworthy of a role in governing this nation, much less a leadership role. Couldn’t even govern a deserted island.

Some of us are FOR making it easier for our neighbors to the south to legally become citizens but not as easy as walking over.

  52. When I was in England, a flu epidemic disabled Europe. The Brits felt superior because they were British. I learned a few things.

When about 60% of the population gets sick, the society breaks down. Dustmen quit picking up garbage, buses had pails for people to pay their fares because conductors were sick, and stores quit delivering food to old people.

We read magazines in the base hospital because our patients were too sick to come in. The ward was filled with coughing patients.

My wife had the flu, but her boss at the base library asked her to come in because the staff was too sick. She had only two customers all day.

No one panicked . We all took it in stride because it was the flu. Within two and a half weeks life was normal again,

Its far fetched, but what if an epidemic was more deadly? What if some exotic more fatal disease swept through a population. What if unease turned to panic?. What if terrorists decided to expose themselves to a serious disease or infected children as they and or children moved across the border?

A Sacramento school now has a TB outbreak. The children didn’t spread it, and no one who knows who did isn’t talking. I would bet the virus came from outside of our borders. Maybe the immigrant was legal. Maybe not

We need another Ellis island. It was in part, a holding area to determine who was sick and who was well.

  53. Our daughter-in law and her family moved here from Korea. They obeyed all of the requirements needed for citizenship. Many others would be assets to our country, but why should they be free to walk across the border when so many others obeyed the rules?

  54. “Obama is the President of Doing Nothing. ” -Muffy

That is exactly why that bus was turned around by the people. When the government is no longer fulfilling its Constitutional role, expect more of that kind of stuff.

It reminds me of a couple different lines in Apocalypse Now. Sheen asks a couple soldiers who is in charge. One dude, panicked as fuck, asks back, “”Aren’t You???” Later in the scene this bad ass simply responds to the same question with “Yeah”.

Nobody is in charge at that border. Then Rutherford is aghast when others are simply answering “Yeah”.

  55. crap…wrong link…not that anyone hasn’t scene that ridiculous but cool moive at least 5 times

You are aware you really didn’t say anything useful there, right?

  57. “I’m with you — blacks don’t get a free pass on misbehavior because they were persecuted for 100′s OF YEARS.” -R

    1) Are you referring to slavery (re: 100’s OF YEARS)?

    2) Are you portraying “blacks don’t get a free pass” as the way it really is – or rather just stating your position?

    3) By “misbehavior” you are referring to violence perpetrated on another person, correct?

  58. Like your progress since the inception of your blog?

Totally irrelevant and stupid comment. Tex, seriously when are you gonna grow up and realize ad hominem is no substitute for a real argument?

What in Gods name does my private life have to do with Palestine and Israel? Your comment is dumber than a bad attempt at a real argument.

Now address the point. Since that miserable failure Jimmy Carter cobbled together lasting peace between Egypt and Israel, what PROGRESS has been made in the region? None, nada, zilch, zero.

  59. Parker, your attempt to underplay religion in this shocks me. One of the sticking points in Palestine/Israel negotiations is Israel’s refusal to not call itself a Jewish state. Last time I looked Judaism was a religion.

And you know as well as I do that devout Christian’s investment in Israel is ENTIRELY based on religion and prophesy.

You need to go consult with Pfesser who was quite clear on this topic.

  60. Muffy I should have said “blacks should not get a free pass on misbehavior”. I was referring to 100’s of years of cumulative oppression from slavery to Jim Crow. Lastly the misbehavior I was referring to on the part of blacks was criminal activity.

  61. Rutherford, what do you think is needed for lasting peace in Israel? Do you view Jews as the aggressors and Palestinians as the victims? Are Israeli concessions (land/resources) something that would meet that end? If this isn’t a “feelings” thing, what are you advocating? Or do you just not like Jews?

  62. You are aware you really didn’t say anything useful there, right?

    Entirely relevant, eternally truthful.

You don’t debate. You scold, obfuscate, deflect when necessary, hide from the truth. You’re a hypocrite, making feeble attempts to find fault and never holding yourself to account for your many mistakes, oversights, and glaring errors.

You’re devoid of ideas, your own ideology lays tattered.

  63. Raji, I’m calling out a complacent society that tolerates increasingly abhorrent behavior on the part of its fellow citizens.

How about an Imperialist President, knocked in the dirt by his own SCOTUS, so venal and narcissistic? 13 times.

If you were not tolerant of abhorrent behavior, you’d call out every grievance hustler in America with a ‘D’ beside their name, loud and clear.

What an utter crock of shit.

  64. Israel, what PROGRESS has been made in the region? None, nada, zilch, zero.

Did you watch the film to learn how utterly empty your history of the region, pre-date WWII?

    No, I didn’t think so.

We won’t even talk of the history of antiquity.

  65. And you know as well as I do that devout Christian’s investment in Israel is ENTIRELY based on religion and prophesy.

Now hold on there, Rutherford. A devout Christian? First of all, one either is or one isn’t a follower of Jesus. There aren’t any in between. I do get where you are coming from, since many claim to be one, but just aren’t. They maybe chose the label, but don’t contain the genuine ingredient. We’re supposed to produce the good fruit of the Spirit. No fruit, no faith.

But among believers, some have been deceived entirely on this ‘state’ of Israel and the recorded words of the prophets. The blame goes to those controlling the message over time. The Word calls them wolves in sheep’s clothing and promises a special eternity for them. America as a whole got accustomed to middlemen and lost touch with its sources. With faith, you need to go direct. I’m not saying guidance isn’t sometimes needed, but that it should always guide one to the source.

  66. We won’t even talk of the history of antiquity.

Good, we shouldn’t. Tex you can’t have it both ways. You can’t say that a history of oppression shouldn’t inform current black behavior and in the same breath say Israelis and Palestinians get to cling to ancient grievances.

  67. Poolman, you’re an utter moron.

I saw a term the other day which beautifully describes men like you of no worth nor purpose – radical infantilism, 60s envy. You share every trait with Bill Ayers ‘cept one. You’re also a pussy….

You can’t say that a history of oppression shouldn’t inform current black behavior and in the same breath say Israelis and Palestinians get to cling to ancient grievances.

Palestinians have no historical grievances of antiquity, being they were trans Jordanian nationals until 1946 – the ilk that Jordan rejected, smartly I might add.

Rutherford is Josephus compared to your breadth of history…

  68. Rutherford – your posters have been beating the drum for a long time about how government intervention, and especially subsidy, inevitably leads to higher prices. Here is a superb – and very short – article about just how that works. Read it and tattoo it on your asscheeks, where you can see it when you have you head – well, you know where, and are thinking that more government is what your country needs.

    http://www.forbes.com/sites/danielmitchell/2014/07/06/the-obama-administrations-gainful-employment-regulations-discriminate-against-the-private-sector-in-higher-education/

“Mitchell’s law” – I didn’t know it had a name – same cause and effect in both American medicine and American higher education. Want to know why both are through the roof? That’s why.

  69. So Tigre, let’s get one thing out of the way immediately. I feel every group of people (barring criminal enterprises) has good and bad among them. Israel is neither pure “victim” nor pure aggressor. Palestine, if there is such a thing (I’ve heard this debated), is neither pure victim nor aggressor.

“That was then, this is now.” Seems to me those six words must start any negotiation toward peace. The older the grievance, the less lip service should be paid to it. More recent behavior is a predictor of future behavior and needs to be acknowledged and if necessary atoned for.

I think the Middle East crisis where Israel is concerned IS 80% emotional on both sides. I think good old fashioned marriage counseling techniques should be employed for these parties who inhabit the same “house” and need to learn to live together in peace.

My problem with Israel is I believe its hawks (Bibi) no more want peace than the most virulent Palestinian, yet we are spoon fed by our media that Israel wants peace and Palestine wants war.

  70. “Muffy I should have said “blacks should not get a free pass on misbehavior”. I was referring to 100′s of years of cumulative oppression from slavery to Jim Crow. Lastly the misbehavior I was referring to on the part of blacks was criminal activity.”

Gotchya. Well my response is that from the top (government) down to the dregs of Hollywood and all the gangstas in between far too much misbehavior is tolerated and the rest of the country has to walk on eggshells around it. So call that out as often as you cry foul against your political opponents if you’re interested in being truthful about having your fill of hypocrisy.

Secondly, I don’t believe that slavery itself is an issue of racism against one race or people. I do understand that black people in this country had to overcome tremendous obstacles in achieving equal status with white Americans once slavery was abolished and it took a solid hundred years. I celebrate those achievements by the way. However your equating the black experience in this country with historical persecution of Jews doesn’t cut it.

Lastly, you may believe that you’ve championed an objective point of view regarding Trayvon but in my opinion you’re overly tolerant and enabling of bad behavior both on the part of black people and primarily of Democrats. You’re loath to call anyone out but those you disagree with politically like the people standing in front of the bus making the people inside feel bad. A more glaring example is your unwillingness to “call out” your party’s perseverance regarding the abortion crisis but I’m not waiting for you to find your voice on that.

Speaking of, I’m appalled at the twisted enforcement of law and order that rewards anti-war terrorists with presidential pardons and lifelong affluence while anti-abortion extremists – far fewer in number than the anti-war legion – are rightfully put away.

  71. This post was stupid.

    Clearly, very, very stupid.

Are we a nation of immigrants? Of course. But we’re a nation of laws too. Can we do without immigration? Yeah, it would be bad in the long term, but we could survive and function. Can we survive without laws? Not even for a little bit.

Rutherford, as instructed by MSDNC, is outraged that citizens are outraged at a government flagrantly violating the law and threatening their community with lawlessness, disease, and social imposition.

“Oh the children” is one of the most intellectually dishonest arguments R has made in quite a while. Yes, lets use emotion to completely ignore the legal, and logical fallacies in R’s position.

Golf clap R, your patheticness is complete…

  72. Rutherford, are you aware at least three times the Palestinians have refused statehood when it was offered to them, most recently in 2008, and then refused any compromise?

Like Poolman and Huck, you’re simply a parrot for Jew haters and propagandists – you don’t even bother to attempt to discern or learn. It’s not truth you seek.

Not rabid like Poolman and Huck, but the message is still the same.

  73. This is how I felt trying to get on a PuffHO post the other day to mock them…LOL

  74. Evil people are destroying the corporation while we in effect bicker about dividing office furniture and paper clips. It sickens me.

Sexy beach dancers flash mob in Israel You Tube video. Take it or leave it.

  75. But we’re a nation of laws too.

The protesters blocked traffic. They broke the law. You condemn that, right G?

Your first amendment rights end where my physical welfare and right to move freely begin. Their vile behavior towards innocent children was bad enough but the bus being diverted was the real whopper. Law enforcement did NOT do their job.

Next bus should have National Guard or fed military on board to ensure safe transport.

Or my solution, mow the ignorant motherfuckers down.

Your implicit approval of this illegal act by the protesters shows how you selectively enforce the law. You’re a transparent partisan hack.

  76. citizens are outraged at a government flagrantly violating the law

WTF are you talking about? These were “illegals” properly apprehended and on their way to gov approved holding facilities. The law was being executed by everyone except the protesters.

What did you want G? You want the kids shot at the border?

  77. BTW one of my FB friends used my article as a jumping off point and upon further research feels this incident borders on insurrection. I tend to agree. Local police facilitating interference with a federal process.

  78. When I was a kid I spent many afternoons igniting things with flammable warnings. I knew it was stupid and dangerous but that was the point of it.

Right now there are lots of warning signs and many pools of inflamed groups of people. Tossing matches into them is amusing but after awhile it is just fire for fires sake.

Your expression of indignation and anger about the misguided protests is valid. Unfortunately the whole game is about getting one group of impotent people to rage against those who are even more powerless. The declining demographic is afraid and there are many out there to stoke that fear.

With that said the target of disdain and the ones actually doing more than making noise are the ones in office and the ones funding them. A bunch of ill informed people spouting nonsense is the sideshow. The real battle is happening behind the scenes and immigration, race and terror are just distractions from aggregating power and wealth.

  79. Evil people are destroying the corporation while we in effect bicker about dividing office furniture and paper clips.

Funny you should use that metaphor James. I just finished watching a Bill Moyers piece about grass roots revolt against the corp power structure.

While we liberals and conservatives bicker with each other the corporations who buy and sell ALL our representatives are laughing all the way to the bank.

  80. Ajax of course you are right. The fools blocking the bus are ultimately as powerless as the children inside it. Your comment makes me think I need to re-think the post.

In expressing my rage, no matter how righteous, did I not fall into the trap of misdirected rage?

    Food for thought.

  81. Next bus should have National Guard or fed military on board to ensure safe transport.

How about misdirected direction? We agree about all but direction of the wheels

Rutherford wants the bus to turn North and West. Most of America understands that if the bus doesn’t turn South, it is undermining the very fabric of a sovereign nation; a nation bordering on broke, a President leading whose aim is to break.

The only thing driving the Left to veer the bus right instead of left as it drives along the dividing line has nothing to do with love or empathy of fellow man – Leftists don’t love and laws are for little people; covet power and control.

The power to steer America’s destiny in a direction the Leftists can manipulate easily. More sheep for sale to eventually be sheared.

  82. “Your implicit approval of this illegal act by the protesters shows how you selectively enforce the law. You’re a transparent partisan hack.” – R

Hold on, I’ve got to find that post you wrote that condemned Occupy Wall Street for blocking the bridge, or the destruction of private property. I’m sure this won’t take long at all…….

  83. ” WTF are you talking about? These were “illegals” properly apprehended and on their way to gov approved holding facilities. The law was being executed by everyone except the protesters.” – R

R, you demonstrate your ignorance on a regular basis, but even this surprises me. Are you truly this naive?

Do you have any idea how much disease has been included in these “holdings”? And they’re turning schools into holding facilities, which is gonna be just peachy when little Suzy and Johnny show up for classes in August/September. Further, do you know what happens in this “process”? You do realize that when they are “processed” and given their court date that well over 90% never show in court.

So, they’re bused into these communities, often times without the consent or coordination with the community itself, and then thrust upon the community, who then spends out the ass on healthcare and law enforcement, to have them processed, and then released.

You’re display of righteous indignation is utter bullshit, and we all know it. These “illegals” turned themselves in because they KNOW they will not be deported, they KNOW they will be released, and they KNOW that there will be no consequences.

Talk about selective enforcement of the law, Obama won’t enforce border security laws, he won’t enforce immigration and deportation statutes, but you’re all fired up because traffic got blocked?

    Who’s the hack again?

  84. “Talk about selective enforcement of the law, Obama won’t enforce border security laws, he won’t enforce immigration and deportation statutes, but you’re all fired up because traffic got blocked?” -G

    Well said.

    Don’t you just love liberals?

    Rutherford wants illegal immigration.

He doesn’t give a flying fuck about the inhumane trip here.

And he also doesn’t care if your town’s local resources are stretched accommodating these kids (just not his school district…he is, after all, a liberal).

These latest are 55,000 people that will instantly be dependent on the government. A wet dream for Rutherford.

If it was a just world, an outbreak of disease would be unleashed on Rutherford. I know his immune system is much like the border. But life doesn’t work that way.

  85. “Or my solution , mow the mother fuckers down” Really Rutherford? And what do you think would happen next?

    Anger and martyrdom.

Review events in Ukraine for example. The police “mowed the mother fuckers down” and we know the result.

“I want you to know why thousands of people in my country are on the streets. There is only one reason. We want to be free.We want to be free from a dictatorship..We are civilized people but our government are barbarians. We want our courts not to be corrupted. We want to be free of politicians who work only for themselves We want to be free.”

    Yula Marushevska

Those protesters want to be free as well. I read that six people were arrested, and they were demonstration for the immigrants.

Yes, Rutherford, 90, they are laughing all the way to the bank.

  86. Yula’s comments apply here also. The difference is a matter of degree. reason.com “The Presidency Has Turned Into an ‘Elective Monarchy'” notes that a Pew survey showed that fewer than one fifth of us trust the government Nearly three quarters of us believe
our government is our biggest threat to the country.

FH Buckley “author of “The Once and Future King” says his native country, Canada is freer than the United States. The Cato Institute rates us at number 17.

I believe that given our national mood, Yula’s video could inflame a major protest movement or insurrection if a good PR firm or political movement used it correctly. Her words increasingly describe our society and where they don’t, emotions will make them so. The video has gone viral for a reason.

As Ajax wrote, the tinder box is being prepared by Obama and the progressives. He may not have intended to connect the protest with the ultimate source, but it is the truth. Obama is taking us down a dangerous road.

  87. #85 show how much of a liberal court jester Rutherford is.
Your first amendment rights end where my physical welfare and right to move freely begin.
As pointed out by G your past admiration of OWS and your obvious support of Civil Rights and false race events in the past absolutely makes you a liar on this one. You also are conveniently taking to heart the Lefts groupthink of nuanced words.
Their vile behavior towards innocent children was bad enough but the bus being diverted was the real whopper. Law enforcement did NOT do their job.
Local law enforcement is on record as waiting for back up and preparing an operational contingency plan. It was the Feds who chose to alter the route/destination in the first convoy. The second time it happened local law enforcement made 6 arrests if I am remembering correctly.
Next bus should have National Guard or fed military on board to ensure safe transport.
This line if no other line also applied is the one that shows Rutherford has his “this is a civil rights thing” marching orders. It shows the non thinking depths of our host who readily concedes he researches and understands very little. His epiphany to Ajax’s comment shows as much as well.
Or my solution, mow the ignorant motherfuckers down.
These reads so fully of a spoiled and frustrated child its pathetic.
All in all you took a potentially good topic to apply your vaunted liberal leaning social commentary to and just really hacked it. Replace your divot and try again. You get a Mulligan here.

  88. Lawlessness doesn’t bother Rutherford. MSNBC finally found a reason to report on the story and of course it doesn’t involve introspection but does include casting blame and condemning critics of this administration. Same thing every time. Ignore. Say you didn’t know about it. Wait for something to draw fire away from the regime. Latch onto it and imagine that is a righteous cause to take up.

  89. Yup…little tiny kids getting raped, disease, dying in the desert, moved like cattle by organized crime while sending a message to the entire 3rd world that there is no rule of law here…..simpleton is upset over the bus…..because MSNBC told him to be.

  90. 11 shot to death, 60 wounded in Chicago……doesn’t ruffle his feathers much either…

    Liberalism in all its glory.

How many died in Baghdad this weekend?

  91. Yup, we should all be up in arms over traffic issues, since there’s nothing else of concern with this whole immigration thing…

Obama made it clear he would press his executive powers to the limit. He gave quiet credence to recommendations from La Raza and other immigration groups that between 5 million to 6 million adult illegal immigrants could be spared deportation under a similar form of deferred adjudication he ordered for the so-called Dreamers in June 2012.

That executive action essentially lifted the threat of prosecution and deportation for about 670,000 undocumented residents illegal aliens—those older than 15 and younger than 31 who had been brought to America before their 16th birthday.

I suppose “It’s for the Children” will, with his vaaaaaassssssssssttttttttttt legal acumen explain how this “executive action” of amnesty is not a violation of the law. Wine CooleR could start by pointing towards the specific statutory language (or is it scripture and verse?) that enumerates the Chicago Messiah’s power to override immigration law? How about R, you gonna put up or shut up?

  92. That’s the channeling of the MSNBC rage goes for on cue.

Atomic time clockwork. I never realized how much Rutherford a MSNBC Marionette until I watched a bit of it – much as I could stomach.

  93. Holly shit, quick, someone call a traffic cop, that dude with a Gadsden flag just jaywalked! Sonofabitch….

    Meanwhile:

The Obama “administration should have been ready,” Rep. Henry Cuellar said Sunday about the flood of undocumented children and women coming across the U.S.-Mexico border.

The Texas Democrat told CNN’s “State of the Union” that the overflowing detention centers are “processing them as quickly as possible,” but “the numbers are overwhelming.”

“Border patrol should move those individuals out in 72 hours and again, if you’re a mother with children, you’ll be put at a bus station, 500 a day just in south Texas that they’re releasing,” Cuellar said. “And if you’re a child, then of course they’re going to send you somewhere else.”

The border-state congressman continued: “There is an incentive that if you bring a child over here or a child by yourself, you’re going to be let go.”

Can someone please tell Harvard what “releasing” means….

  94. “My original source was … wait for it … MSNBC but in my defense I did some backup reading to vet the story a bit.”

    T.V. Guide or Media Matters?

  95. I’ve lived in border states over 40 years of my life and have heard all the supposed solutions to solve immigration issue. It’s another political football. Nobody really wants to solve it. It’s like the myriad of other issues we continually discuss. Nobody wants real solutions, though every side makes that claim. But let’s go ahead and allow the press to put this issue at the forefront to play out in our collective emotional arena to where we want some wing or arm or leg of said government to come up with a solution, no matter said government’s longstanding reputation for further complicating every issue.

Any border or law or other man-made construct has to be universally accepted or forcibly maintained in order to even exist. It’s all make believe. We have vast amounts of rhetoric, resources, budgets, and personnel dedicated and dependent upon controlling these concepts.

  96. Tex, that Obama library float was in my neighborhood. The man who made it said he was not being racist He was making a statement about the VA hospitals while having a little fun. He is a Vietnam veteran who knows people who have had trouble with the system,.

Omaha’s talk shows used it as a topic. Some Democrats have poor senses of humor and short memories. One caller asked if the outhouse is racist, to which half of Obama is it directed, his white half or his black half?

  97. R, if you don’t want the charge, quit being such an MSNBC shill. It’s like arguing with a cokehead that says, “I don’t do coke, I just like the smell.”

  98. “once again … fuck you asshole” -R

What you gonna do….run me over with a bus.

    Bring it, cuckold.

  99. In less than a handful of comments, I’ve destroyed your post, premise and all……and you’re reaction is to get pissed at being called a MSDNC shill, which of course you are.

Hilarious, you don’t even try because you know you’re beaten…

  100. Rutherford Cuckold,

Do you ever give a bit of thought to how truly awful Barack Obama has really been? Aren’t you the least bit intellectually curious anymore how Barack Obama actually stacks up?

I’m almost sure I’ve said this before here. But in case not, think about this and when the need strikes you (probably never), justify how you could possibly grant a rating of “mediocre” to the current President.

I calculate this one all on my own – I’ve never seen anybody else do this, so you can’t accuse me of parroting FOX News. The amount of utter waste by this administration is mind boggling.

Barack Obama’s first major coup was obtaining approval to spend almost One Trillion Dollars for shovel ready projects – only later to admit the failure of no shovels ready. Unemployment actually went up over 2% points after a majority of the monies spent.

To put that in perspective (adjusted for inflation), with little discernible benefit to America, Barack Obama and the Dimocratic Party spent more than did Dwight D. Eisenhower, JFK, and LBJ spend to build the entirety of America’s Interstate System.

Why do things like that not outrage you?

  101. Hilarious, you don’t even try because you know you’re beaten…

It’s worse than that, Gorilla. Not only does “R” not realize you just flattened his point in its entirety, he didn’t realize you were making the attempt.

Classic reactionary spew without thinking critically is an inherited trait of Leftists. Ignoring the obvious is the defense mechanism, followed by charges of racism.

  102. This is getting too easy.

Australian naval forces intercepted a boat load of 200 people from Sri Lanka headed for Australia. They asked for political asylum, but the Aussies turned them over the the Sri Lankans at sea.

A UN agency expressed profound concern that the illegals weren’t allowed into Australia to plead their case. That concern will have as much effect as our criticism of Obama.Australia knows how to maintain its borders.

  103. The demonstrators at Murrieta protested again yesterday. This time, legal immigrants from Germany, Mexico, and Central America joined them. They plan to be ready for more buses.

The protest is largely symbolic, but one never knows. It might spread.

  104. “To put that in perspective (adjusted for inflation), with little discernible benefit to America, Barack Obama and the Dimocratic Party spent more than did Dwight D. Eisenhower, JFK, and LBJ spend to build the entirety of America’s Interstate System.”-Tex

    That is mind blowing.

  105. http://www.npr.org/2014/07/05/328793802/in-honduras-gangs-tell-boys-join-or-be-killed

A few things stand out to me in this interview.

Paraphrased: Nobody knows why people are leaving Honduras in such numbers, now.

Of course, that would be the disaster President Failure started by running his mouth.

Paraphrased: The fact that so many fathers are in the US breaks the families apart and makes boys fodder for gangs.

Ah yes. The unintended consequences of bad policy, often feel good policy. Illegal immigration feeding on itself and destroying the family.

  106. DHS report: Only 0.1% of Central American miniors deported in 2013

    By Rick Moran

A report leaked to Breitbart News from the Department of Homeland Security states that 99.9% of children from Central America who crossed into the US illegally in 2013 were not deported and are still here.

The report also says that the lack of deportations is probably a much more significant factor in driving Central American children to come to the US than violence or poverty.

The report, identified as “De-Classified” and “Law Enforcement Sensitive,” reveals the fact that only 0.1 percent of the Central American minors illegally entering the U.S. having been deported in Fiscal Year 2013, down from two percent prior, plays a significant role in why the current border crisis is occurring. The DHS-ICE agency report admits the fact that 98 percent are allowed to stay is a significant draw for the minors to come into the United States. The agency acknowledges that conditions in Central America play a role in why the wave is occurring, but directly contradicts the assertion that such conditions are the only significant reason the crisis exists. The report directly contradicts any assertion U.S. government refusals to deport illegal immigrants is not a significant factor in why the crisis is occurring.

The report further reveals that Central American nations are doing little to curb the flow of illegal immigration to the U.S. and attributes the lack of efforts in the host nations to stop the flow to the nations wanting their nationals to send money back home from the United States. The report also indicates that family members from the host nations already residing in the U.S. is a major draw for the current crisis. This indicates that illegal aliens already within the U.S. are possibly drawing more to illegally migrate north.

    The report states:

Migration pull factors include reunification with family members already in the United States and successful migration attempts; that is, most (98 percent) OTM UCs are issued a Notice to Appear and not immediately removed from the United States. Last year, only 1,700 UCs were repatriated to their home countries.” The report also clarifies the statement: HSI-Intel assesses with high confidence that reunification with family members already in the United States continues to be a pull factor for UCs from El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras.

    The report also states:

No single factor causes OTM UC migration to the United States. Rather, several factors combine to cause this, including poor economies and violence in home countries, potential employment opportunities in the United States, family reunification, and success at not being immediately repatriated drive OTM UC migration to the United States. [Emphasis Added by Breitbart]

In other words, the reasons the kids keep coming is not so much they are being driven by drug violence but because they are hearing from relatives already in the states that if you make it across the border, you can stay.

Other findings from the report are equally shocking:

—The same family members or sponsors are appearing several times to claim different children from the custody of U.S. authorities.

—The U.S. government time requirements and care responsibilities for the OTM minors are identified in a time-chart.

—Host counties are doing little to prevent their nationals from coming to the U.S. and are likely motivated to allow this due to a desire to have U.S. dollars going back to the host countries.

To say that what’s going on at the border is a clusterfark would be too kind. Part of the problem is that they are being overwhelmed. But allowing “sponsors” and “family members” to claim several kids is irresponsible. What’s the liklihood that some of those kids are sold into slavery or worse?

The report states that 97% of these kids are from three countries; Guatemala, El Salvador, or Honduras. Nearly half are males between 15-17 years old – prime age for gang recruitment. These kids are a crime wave waiting to happen – courtesy of the rancid policies of the Obama administration.

  107. Business Insider says nearly a million and a half of Americans wear the colors of at least 33,000 gangs. They commit 18% of the crimes according to the FBI.

Minnesota and several other states took in hundreds of Somali refugees to protect them from violence. Rules were loose about their destinations. They had to prove membership in a family. Some fake families dumped the kids after they moved to the US. Does this sound familiar?

Now we have a gang problem in parts of Minnesota, Washington, and Missouri. Somali gangs have participated in alien smuggling, human trafficking, credit card fraud, prostitution, and violent crime.

They often fight with other African-American gangs, including gangs from Ethiopia. These gang members are miniscule compared what our policies may unleash on the United States. Will new gangs from the three Central American nations express animosity toward each other?

If Rutherford understood the ramifications, he would be protesting like the people in California.

  108. How can we give the liar/disaster president MORE money to coyote children? We can’t give him any money, can we?

I say this all the time…..but I feel like we are living in a dystopian fiction written by the most paranoid of Obama haters back in 2008.

BUT THEN I REALIZE ITS ALL TRUE!

THIS IS THE BIGGEST FAILURE OF A PRESIDENCY OF ALL TIME

  109. Enough is enough of the years of abuse from this president. His unsecured border crisis is the last straw that makes the battered wife say, “no mas.”

Without borders, there is no nation. Obama knows this. Opening our borders to a flood of illegal immigrants is deliberate. This is his fundamental transformation of America. It’s the only promise he has kept. Discrediting the price paid for America’s exceptionalism over our history, he’s given false hope and taxpayer’s change to millions of foreign nationals who want to sneak into our country illegally. Because of Obama’s purposeful dereliction of duty an untold number of illegal immigrants will kick off their shoes and come on in, competing against Americans for our jobs and limited public services. There is no end in sight as our president prioritizes parties over doing the job he was hired by voters to do. Securing our borders is obviously fundamental here; it goes without saying that it is his job.

The federal government is trillions of dollars in debt, many cities are on the verge of insolvency, our overrun healthcare system, police forces, social services, schools, and our unsustainably generous welfare-state programs are stretched to the max. We average Americans know that. So why has this issue been allowed to be turned upside down with our “leader” creating such unsafe conditions while at the same time obstructing any economic recovery by creating more dependents than he allows producers? His friendly wealthy bipartisan elite, who want cheap foreign labor and can afford for themselves the best “border security” money can buy in their own exclusive communities, do not care that Obama tapped us out.

Have faith that average American workers – native-born and wonderful legal immigrants of all races, backgrounds, and political parties – do care because we’re the ones getting screwed as we’re forced to follow all our government’s rules while others are not required to do so. Many now feel like strangers in their own land. It’s the American worker who is forced to deal with Obama’s latest crisis with our hard-earned tax dollars while middle class wages decrease, sustainable jobs get more scarce, and communities become unrecognizable and bankrupted due to Obama’s flood of illegal immigration.

Who’s looking out for the American worker? Who has their backs? Who fights for them?

    We should.

President Obama’s rewarding of lawlessness, including his own, is the foundational problem here. It’s not going to get better, and in fact irreparable harm can be done in this lame-duck term as he continues to make up his own laws as he goes along, and, mark my words, will next meddle in the U.S. Court System with appointments that will forever change the basic interpretation of our Constitution’s role in protecting our rights.

It’s time to impeach; and on behalf of American workers and legal immigrants of all backgrounds, we should vehemently oppose any politician on the left or right who would hesitate in voting for articles of impeachment.

The many impeachable offenses of Barack Obama can no longer be ignored. If after all this he’s not impeachable, then no one is.

  110. I submit that Bo Bo is just doing the job he was groomed for, that most of what is happening has nothing to do with him and everything to do with what his groomers have planned for generations. If any can gain understanding from cause and effect and see through the many veils, they can agree there is a master plan in place. The following introduction to a master plan seems to explain much. The controversy over whether the following document is authentic or fraudulent is immaterial to the content and prophetic accuracy of its stated intent…

    1. The Basic Doctrine

Putting aside fine phrases we shall speak of the significance of each thought: by comparisons and deductions we shall throw light upon surrounding facts.

What I am about to set forth, then, is our system from the two points of view, that of ourselves and that of the GOYIM [i.e., non-Jews].

It must be noted that men with bad instincts are more in number than the good, and therefore the best results in governing them are attained by violence and terrorisation, and not by academic discussions.

Every man aims at power, everyone would like to become a dictator if only he could, and rare indeed are the men who would not be willing to sacrifice the welfare of all for the sake of securing their own welfare.

What has restrained the beasts of prey who are called men? What has served for their guidance hitherto?

In the beginnings of the structure of society, they were subjected to brutal and blind force; after words – to Law, which is the same force, only disguised. I draw the conclusion that by the law of nature right lies in force.

Political freedom is an idea but not a fact. This idea one must know how to apply whenever it appears necessary with this bait of an idea to attract the masses of the people to one’s party for the purpose of crushing another who is in authority.

This task is rendered easier of the opponent has himself been infected with the idea of freedom, SO-CALLED LIBERALISM, and, for the sake of an idea, is willing to yield some of his power.

It is precisely here that the triumph of our theory appears; the slackened reins of government are immediately, by the law of life, caught up and gathered together by a new hand, because the blind might of the nation cannot for one single day exist without guidance, and the new authority merely fits into the place of the old already weakened by liberalism.

  111. Impeachment will ruin any chance we may have of getting this country on track.

While he is surreal failure, what do we get out of impeaching? Just to say we impeached him while awaking the ignorant mob that put him into office in the first place?

Impeachment is a paper tiger and strategic folly of epic proportions.

Let the country never forget what their Pop Idol bull shit did to us so that when the next demagogue comes along maybe, just maybe, there will be a few million less fools showing to vote.

  112. I was one of the first to suggest impeachment after Benghazi. He deserves it, but impeachment would become a Democratic fund raiser and impetus to vote. The press would demonize Republicans.

I still think Obama should be impeached, but “what do we get out of impeaching?” Joe Biden,

  113. R, if you don’t want the charge, quit being such an MSNBC shill. It’s like arguing with a cokehead that says, “I don’t do coke, I just like the smell.”

Let me say it once again. With rare exception there is no earth shaking original thought from ANYONE on this blog. We all have our sources and if YOU weren’t a shill for whatever your source is, you wouldn’t be as predictable in your responses as I am.

But Tigre at least you can enjoy the fact that Rabbit has jumped on your “blonde Rutherford” bandwagon.

  114. No impeachment, though he deserves it a hundred times over Nixon and Clinton. America is so shallow, it would make this prick for president a martyr like it did the serial rapist Clinton.

What we’ve got to do is win the Senate and make proposals so clearly counter to Obama, that the media can’t hide them and the criminal Reid can’t interfere with them being brought to the floor. We can defund Obamacare, the IRS, EPA and other assorted federal POS.

It’s a given the market is going to collapse sooner or later. Let it happen under Obama’s watch so people can blame Obama and he becomes just not unpopular, but despised. Taint this asshole’s legacy so there is no doubt Obama labeled the worst President in the history of the United States.

Destroy him before he destroys the country. The day this asshole leaves office, I want him looked at like a dictator being frogmarched to prison. Relegate Obama to the trash where he belongs.

It’s possible we could severely cripple this regressive Progressive Party for 50 years and our children don’t have to deal with the defeatists.

P.S. – James, that float was hilarious. Tip of the cap to your part of country. 🙂

  115. I’ve destroyed your post, premise and all…

You’ve done nothing of the kind.

    1. The only proper legal procedure is being used with the children. Good NYT article points out difficulty of abiding by a Bush era non-Mexican child immigrant law which did not foresee this crisis. Feinstein says Obama has authority to bend the law to suit this crisis but that would make him a dictator wouldn’t it?

    2. I NEVER defended illegal OWS activity. Civil disobedience breaks the law passively, not by actively obstructing traffic. When it goes over that line, I do not defend it whether it’s from liberals or conservatives.

    3. You have a PhD in well documented whining. Where is your solution? Turn the kids back immediately knowing what they face at home?

  116. 1. What is the legal procedure R? What does the law SAY, not what your Messiah’s doing, but what does the law say about what he is legally required to do?

    2. Funny, I looked again and I couldn’t find the post where you singled out OWS “violations of law”, many that there were, for criticism and reflection. Hmmmm, we had the OWS lot that were convicted for attempting to BLOW UP A FUCKING BRIDGE, but that just didn’t seem to make the cut. You complained about BIC and the rest of us for pointing out messaging discrepancies to the OWS movement, you know, like the clown TAKING A SHIT ON THE U.S. FLAG. Apparently, that was searching for the worst. And I suppose the cases of rape, larceny, and assault were over the line too.

Nooooooooo, but you’re mad and you’re not gonna take anymore on those pesky protesters BLOCKING TRAFFIC. God Damnit, there’s gotta be line!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Did you read anything I said? 500 per day released into the country at one bus stop alone. Multiple reports of children being seized by strangers to be used to cross the border so the adult can be released. Disease. Crime, violent and otherwise. Overburdened systems. None of this concerns you, but heaven forbid someone block a bus…

    3. I have to solve the problem of your creating? As it so happens, I did propose a solution, and it was:

    FOLLOW THE FUCKING LAW.

You’re nothing but a little bitch. You’re a shill for a fraud, the handmaiden to a carpetbagger. You whore yourself out, “for the children,” under the delusion that it takes a village, all the while ignoring the flames as the village burns to the fucking ground around your feet. But the person with the bucket offends you because the snake oil, for the children of course, needs the flames.

You’re a disease, a parasite feeding off the blood, sweat, and tears of those caught under the yoke of this tyrants oppression. You’ve deluded yourself into thinking you’re intelligent, but you’re anything but.

    You’re a fool, an impotent, ignorant fool…

  117. Do food stamps cover marshmallows? Might as well use the village flames for something…

According to the 2014 version of a report that the Department of Health and Human Services is required by law to issue annually, the percentage of Americans on welfare in 2011 was the highest yet calculated. The data for 2011 is the most recent in the report.

  118. “Let me say it once again. With rare exception there is no earth shaking original thought from ANYONE on this blog. We all have our sources and if YOU weren’t a shill for whatever your source is, you wouldn’t be as predictable in your responses as I am.”

Sure. Keep telling yourself that. You don’t even know what to be outraged by without MSNBC telling you.

(gotta love how it turned from “no, I don’t even watch anymore” to “everyone does it.”)

Oh look, Cheney said something. . . maybe about Palin!

  119. It’s not about originality it’s about not hearing about an issue until MSNBC decides they’ll cover it. Which usually means they found an anti-Republican/Bush/conservative slant to exploit (read: twist). If they can’t find the slant then they don’t cover the issue. Only after they’ve crafted their narrative do you come in. You have to go all the way back to Trayvon to argue a difference of opinion with the party line as presented by the propaganda network.

  120. Look at those thieving bitches @#144. Arrogant as shit when they’re caught red-handed by the guy who paid for the shit they’re stealing.

One time I was at a ball game and two businessmen seated a few rows in front of us left their seats to get refreshments when it began to drizzle. Two young women noticed the umbrella the men left behind and grabbed it. When the businessmen returned they saw that the girls had their umbrella and they politely asked for it back. The girls said it was theirs. The guys stood there for a moment, not sure they should argue with ladies and probably a bit astonished that these gals were so unabashedly stealing and openly lying.

Of course I walked right over and ripped that umbrella out of that bitch’s hand and gave it back to the guy and told the girls I’d seen them take it.

    Integrity has become quaint.

  121. Gruppendenken. That’s all we’re talking about. From the infallible wiki…

Groupthink is sometimes stated to occur (more broadly) within natural groups within the community, for example to explain the lifelong different mindsets of conservatives versus liberals,[4] or the solitary nature of introverts.[5] However, this conformity of viewpoints within a group does not mainly involve deliberate group decision-making, and thus is perhaps better explained by the collective confirmation bias of the individual members of the group.

In other words, whether Rutherford is coming or going, he attends the same mind as his fellow progressives. In any event, the collective pulls from a common tool shed. And it works with conservatives as well. Originality ist verboten.

  122. Muffy, I went to the theatre once and a fight erupted in the lobby between a guy and his neighbor who was sitting in his seats because the tickets, which were sent by mail, were delivered to the wrong house. Talk about some balls.

  123. What are you talking about Poolman, R says it’s just coincidence that the narratives, especially the false ones, are repeated here.

  124. Rutherford believes in coincidence. I don’t. But yeah, the adage ‘great minds think alike’ must also take into account that feeble minds will have that same attribute.

  125. My grandmother’s favorite curse was “Oh, balls!! The previous comment reminded me. And speaking of…

  126. Policy started with Bush. Policy started with Bush. Rawk!

“Senator Dianne Feinstein, the California Democrat who helped write the measure, said the White House does not need new power to act. “That law already provides the administration with flexibility to accelerate the judicial process in times of crisis,” she said. “The administration should use that flexibility to speed up the system while still treating these children humanely, with compassion and respect.” ”

    http://www.nytimes.com/2014/07/08/us/immigrant-surge-rooted-in-law-to-curb-child-trafficking.html?_r=0

  127. Without borders, there is no nation. Obama knows this. Opening our borders to a flood of illegal immigrants is deliberate. This is his fundamental transformation of America. It’s the only promise he has kept.

    You’re a lunatic.

  128. Tex, if Obama goes to jail he has to get behind Dick Cheney who has American and Iraqi blood on his hands. Not to mention that of his “hunting buddy”.

  129. Rutherford, you are smarter than that. Your Cheney comment is beneath you. Dick Cheney has no more American blood on his hands than any other politician.

    We have covered this before.

The Iraq invasion may have been a blunder, but Cheney and the others, including Democrats relied on what they thought was reliable information. Moreover Iraq was violating UN resolutions. They didn’t illegally take us to war.

Cheney’s shooting his hunting buddy was an accident. I assume you were being funny with that one, I chuckled.

Considering some of the programs Obama has tried to impose on the people, Congressional obstruction is a good thing. Obama has refused to negotiate with most Republicans, and Harry Reid stalls their bills in the Senate.

For example, the cap and trade rules Obama wants to slip by a do nothing Congress will hurt us without changing our weather.

  130. Try careful reading Muffy. I already cited the NYT article, I already mentioned Feinstein. And I already said you’d be screaming overreach if Obama used discretion within the law.

If you’re not gonna read my comments, save your breath.

  131. R @ 139. “never a good idea to call anyone a cuckold. You don’t really KNOW who your wife is fucking, do you?”

    Can I get a witness…

Well actually Feinstein is quite wrong. It is actually something to give Obama credit for that he has made statements that he acknowledges being rather handcuffed by the law. Please keep in mind thought that no matter what spin you like Dream Lite has helped this crisis explode
    2. I NEVER defended illegal OWS activity. Civil disobedience breaks the law passively, not by actively obstructing traffic. When it goes over that line, I do not defend it whether it’s from liberals or conservatives.
yeah Im not buying this one R. Your philosophy is trying to live in a grey zone of convenience and thats just wrong. OWS turds blocked plenty a bridge, street and public way and you thought they were awesome-sauce. You even get erect for their poster girl candidate Lizzie Warren
    3. You have a PhD in well documented whining. Where is your solution? Turn the kids back immediately knowing what they face at home,
Actually turning them back immediately IS what Obama actually wants to do.

  133. I told you earlier that the AP reported ISIS had captured control of a site where some of Saddam Husein’s weapons of mass destruction remained.

Iraq has now told the United Nations that ISIS has taken control of a large former chemical weapons facility where 2,5000 chemical rockets filled with sarin and other chemicals are now under their control.

Our government down plays the significance because the facility was bombed in 1991.

How can this be? We were told there were no WMDs. Is it possible the wrong people were accused of lying?

  134. An estimated 300,000 children and adults are headed for our border. Why don’t we annex Central America as Russia took Crimea? Then we would save them the danger and trouble of treking a thousand miles.

  135. “You don’t really KNOW who your wife is fucking, do you? ” -R

No….but, at least lately, I know one guy she isn’t fucking.

    😦

  136. Tex, if Obama goes to jail he has to get behind Dick Cheney who has American and Iraqi blood on his hands. Not to mention that of his “hunting buddy”.

Of course. Draw those curtains and Rutherford’s right there with our Arkin. Our military are really blood thirsty mercenaries. I’m shocked there’s not a charge of racism to go with it.

    Mediocre President.

  137. “You don’t really KNOW who your wife is fucking, do you? ” -R

No….but, at least lately, I know one guy she isn’t fucking.

I feel like I got about the best wifey in the world. But on one account I failed miserably – like Barack Obama level failure.

My wife’s libido is on par with Mother Theresa. Pecks, lots of hugs, a thousand I love you’s a day. She’ll tolerate the occasional fanny pat as long as the kids aren’t around. And if it’s not too hot, I can actually crawl into the same bed, long as stay on my side, or we are on vacation for show. 😈

I think she won the war. Looking back she won most of the battles too.

  138. Rutherford, you are smarter than that. Your Cheney comment is beneath you. Dick Cheney has no more American blood on his hands than any other politician.

James? Stick around long enough, and you’ll begin to realize – no, he’s not.

He writes well, has the occasional epiphany, and in a month of Sundays and a brief weakness, he’ll post something that reads rational.

The rest of the time, he’s defending the indefensible, flapping his wings in unison with Chaz Maddow, enabling massive failure, propagandizing imagined successes, and living in the past glory of broken promises before they were broken, still believing he’s the one we all waited for.

  139. I defy any of you bleeding heart, braindead Leftists to explain to me why what is happening on the border is anything short of intentional, unconstitutional malfeasance.

Not even a floundering community activist could be this woefully inept. You’re damn right I think this is being done purposely. This is what thugs and narcissists do when serfs won’t bow to their whims and genuflect to their imagined brilliance. Attempt to punish.

  140. Muffy sometimes you maketh no sense. Don’t know what if…then argument you were referring to.

I’m glad Alfie reposted my comment because while Feinstein might be wrong, I very properly characterized the article. If it was unrecognizable to you, you either didn’t carefully read my comment or you didn’t carefully read the comment.

  141. I’ve been under the impression that Australians are notoriously insular and hostile to foreigners. James, is that really the country we want to emulate?

  142. R’s response:

#157: “G since when did you give a flying fuck about the American worker? You’re a corporate shill like most of the folks here.”

Deflection. What corporation have I ever “shilled” for? And since when is being against business good for the American worker? See, this is where you fall flat on your face every time. You think you’re somehow making a pithy, witty comment, but instead you’re just hanging your dick out, and like your brain, its small and shriveled from lack of use.

    June Jobs:

As we reported previously, and as hardly anyone else will discuss, in June the composition of added jobs was rather abysmal: according to the Household survey, while over half a million full-time jobs were lost, this was offset by less paying, benefits-free part-time jobs rising by 799K, the most since 1993. So what does that mean for the job quality as reported by the Establishment Survey. Let’s dive in.

Of the 288K jobs added in June, here were some of the biggest contributors:

Everyone, but especially you, should read this and this.

So tell us again how it is that you, being the big government type are actually for the American worker, because it has been your policies that have fucked the American worker more than anyone else. Especially for the black community, whose unemployment is double that of whites. Fist up, representing beotch…

#157, translated, is more like, ‘I have no logical, intellectual argument, so I’m going to arbitrarily call you a name too because I have failed.’ Yeah, we know.

#159: “Best part, G has the gall to use “obstruction” to describe Obama. Are you kidding? Start with the do-nothing congress.”

R, the word “obstruction” is used two times in your post and comments section combined: you in #159 and James in #161. I’ve never once said the word “obstruction”. However, I have said:

    Carpetbagger
    Snakeoil
    Tyrant

None of which imply obstruction, but rather corruption. I’ve not pointed out how Obama is doing nothing, far from it, I’ve pointed out Obama is doing a lot of thing against the law.

But to your flailing effort at a point:

Out of the 195 House-passed bills that are now stalled in the Senate, 31 were written by Democrats, and many have been awaiting Senate approval for close to a year.

    Read more: http://thehill.com/homenews/house/200228-house-dems-to-senate-dems-pass-our-bills#ixzz36xpd9FlD

It’s a Democrat leaning article, but it gets the same point across – it is the DEMOCRAT SENATE that is not doing anything. You are either too ignorant of the Congressional process, or to corrupt to admit that the Senate is the point of failure in the Congress right now. How many conference committees have there been? 2? Being the math major you are, you realize of course that is 1% of House legislation making it to committee. I could get into the tree, and Reid’s efforts to stack the tree, etc, etc, etc, but frankly, you’re too stupid to get it and I’m not going to waste my time.

In two comments, you uttered 44 words that were ignorant, misleading, and dishonest. 44. Coincidence? I think not…

  143. Rutherford, 177. yes, i have heard that Australia and also New Zealand are insular and hostile to foreigners.

That is a different issue from our immigration policy. We need to regulate the inflow lest our culture be subverted and destroyed. Like them, we need to favor people who can immediately benefit our nation. Australia and New Zealand companies pay higher minimum wages than here, I’m guessing, because they inhibit the competition from poor, unskilled workers willing to work for a pittance.

Many of our ancestors were once such people, but we simply don’t have room for everyone.

The administration or occupying regime as Sofia Jannok says, planned for this invasion as early as January when they searched for venders who could supply an influx of immigrants with necessities.. Many of them didn’t make it. Ranchers and others find bodies of the dead each day.

If anyone has bloody hands it is whomever found and used this loophole. Congress should change the law to end it.

Romanian singer Toni Tone’s video Forever Alive official video on YouTube is an ideolized unintended analogy for what progressives and others are doing to our country. Look at the video and understand why a little hostility to unregulated foreign immigration is a good thing.

  144. By the way, gorrilla is wining the argument. Our much vaunted jobs report still shows people have dropped out of the labor force, and the majority of new jobs were for part timers. Democrats mocked such as Mcjobs when Bush was president.

The actual unemployment rate is about 12 %. This is one of the longest poor recoveries since the Great Depression for similar reasons. I don’t know if I mentioned it here, but I did on the other blog. I was right then, and we are right now..

Tex, Rutherford shows his intelligence with his verbal contortions to defend a pack of lies and misinformation. I don’t know of anyone who can do it better.

  145. http://m.townhall.com/tipsheet/katiepavlich/2014/07/08/internal-executive-summary-confirms-at-least-16-unaccompanied-minors-in-nogales-are-ms13-members-n1860014

Rutherford…you must be so shocked that MS13 graffiti was left all over a processing center.

I had the misfortune of working with these people in correctional education.

Back when I had to deal with these terrorists they refused to speak English. You know what their gang initiation was at that time? Hide under cars and, with a box cutter, slit the ankles of women walking back from the store after shopping. I guess it was a real hoot to see their Achilles heel severed and squirt blood as the woman instantly fell to the ground.

Oh I know…just more anecdotal garbage from some loony conservative. Dismissed. You watch MCNBC from your apartment, after all.

You have no idea the violence that is coming into this country, R.

  146. Tex, Rutherford shows his intelligence with his verbal contortions to defend a pack of lies and misinformation. I don’t know of anyone who can do it better.

Kind of the little man’s Chaz Maddow. 😆

  147. either didn’t carefully read my comment or you didn’t carefully read the comment

LOL what happens when you answer a comment in between roadside calls.

Should have said either you didn’t read my comment or you didn’t read the ARTICLE.

  148. Enough is enough of the years of abuse from this president. His unsecured border crisis is the last straw that makes the battered wife say, “no mas.”

OMFG. G quoting without attribution is called plagiarism. Just happened to be watching Morning Joe and your speech came verbatim out of … wait for it … Sarah Palin.

If I missed the attribution in a separate comment, my apologies but I don’t think I did.

Oh, and the worst part is I actually admired your style, if not the substance. Shit you tricked me into thinking Palin sounded intelligent.

  149. James there is practical sense to immigration policies that increase our potential as a nation BUT does the Statue of Liberty say “give us your poor yearning to be free AND contribute to GM’s bottom line”?

If our immigration policy is profit motivated I guess there will be no more mentally challenged people allowed to enter the country, right?

  150. Rutherford Australia basically had a concentration camp set up on a couple of islands. They closed them and do immediate repatriation stuff now. Australia actually quite good about allowing economy positive folks in

  151. MS 13 ironically owes much to earlier immigration issues. We shipped bangers back home who dialed up the roots gang and returned yo the USA to show off

  152. Rutherford, you should feel complemented. It is how I intended it.

Mark Steyn,an Aussie, Brit, and Canadian conservative wrote “America Alone” which argued that legal immigration will save us. Immigrants are blessed with a cultural or genetic risk-taking trait which has helped make us such a great country.

HOWEVER, we have to regulate the traffic to give newcomers time to assimilate and support themselves.Otherwise, they will overwhelm and recreate the culture they left. Some, like my Dutch relatives rebuild as best they can, the home they left behind. So do some groups of Hispanics and New England liberals.. If too many immigrants come too soon, they turn our culture into an amalgum of others.

We can’t afford an invasion of low skilled and dependent immigrants who are used to support the Democratic agenda of a permanent liberal voting under class and businesses with a steady source of cheap labor. Blacks suffer from this mind set.

The Statue of Liberty inscription “give us people to meet our bottom line” doesn’t sound very poetic, does it? Ellis Island was a holding site to let authorities determine who was fit and unfit to enter the US. The inscription might have read “give us your heathy”

We can’t financially afford an unregulated border, nor can we risk an invasion of jihadists who can also sneak in,

  153. I noted the same about Australia as alfie did. The friend of an Omaha talk show host tried for a year to get a visa. He spent two years there, made some money, and had fun. At the end of his time, he applied to stay longer. The authorities practically drove him to the airport and told him they were glad he had visited, but “goodbye”

Scandinavians are beginning to complain about the immigrants who live in major cities. They feel they are stealing their cultural heritage. Fins who are different and also more introverted are less affected. An advise blog answered a question. “How can I get along in Finland?” “Be white.”

So far, minor organizations ranging from far left to Tea Party types to fascists are growing in a number of European nations. A common theme is immigration control,.

This is a random thought. When I saw my first ear necklace during the Vietnam War, the owner told me Australians started the practice. Vietnamese had a phobia about entering the afterlife with physical damage.

North Vietnamese soldiers feared Koreans above all others. Bob Hope and other cellebrities and entertained our troops. Other entertainers entertained the North Vietnam soldiers. They carried family pictures and letters from home just as our soldiers did.

  154. My mind is wandering because I don’t feel much challenge here now. Since we were discussing Australia, that country’s Sunday Night Show interviewed Agnetha Faltskog last May.; She had dropped out of sight for over thirty years after her divorce from Bjorn. He said after they won the Eurovision contest with “Waterloo,” they released the wrong followup and nearly became one hit wonders.

They released SOS in Australia and it became number one. British music business owners were surprised because they assumed ABBA was dead, but after they saw the Australian charts they decided to “take a chance.”

They didn’t want to leave home because of the children, so they made production umbers which were early music videos.
Bjorn and i think Bennie have financed a pop music college to encourage and train new talent. Sweden now ranks number three in countries which influence United States music.

  155. A newly released email from former IRS employee Lois G. Lerner, sent just as the tea party targeting scandal was erupting, warned colleagues to “be cautious” about what information they put in emails because it could be turned over to Congress.

“I was cautioning folks about email and how we have had several occasions where Congress ask asked for emails and there has been an electronic search for responsive emails — so we need to be cautious about what we say in emails,” Ms. Lerner wrote in an April 9, 2013, message.

The message came less than two weeks after the IRS’s internal auditor shared a draft report with the agency accusing it of targeting tea party and conservative groups. A month after the email, Ms. Lerner would plant a question at a conference to reveal the scandal, just before the inspector general’s report was made public.

The email was turned over to the House oversight committee last week, more than a year after lawmakers sought it as part of their investigation into the IRS targeting.

Republicans said the email shows Ms. Lerner was aware Congress was probing the agency and that she was preparing to intentionally hide agency discussions from lawmakers.

Ms. Lerner’s emails have become a major scandal in and of themselves after the IRS revealed that her computer hard drive crashed in 2011, causing the agency to lose thousands of her messages.

  156. Good news story of the day:

NEW ORLEANS (AP) — Former New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for his conviction on bribery, money laundering and other corruption charges. Prosecutors said the actions for which he was convicted spanned his two terms as mayor – including the chaotic years after Hurricane Katrina hit in 2005.

U.S. District Judge Helen Berrigan handed down the sentence Wednesday morning.

Nagin was convicted Feb. 12 of accepting hundreds of thousands of dollars from businessmen who wanted work from the city or Nagin’s support for various projects. The bribes came in the form of money, free vacation trips and truckloads of free granite for his family business.

The 58-year-old Democrat had defiantly denied any wrongdoing after his 2013 indictment and during his February trial.

    Chocolate City…. what a dumb ass…

  157. Rutherford, Bjorn has lost his memory of much of their career. He and his current wife look at old pictures to jog his memory. I have seen his interviews and television appearances. Bjorn was a guest judge on a British talent show. He seems to have all of his marbles, and I don’t think they did drugs. He said he isn’t sure what he remembers or what some one told him.

Jimmy Page said he also had memory gaps, but he also did heroin.

That is wonderful news about Nagan. He was one of the Democrats who transferred his Katrina short comings onto Bush. Karma.

  158. alfie@190

Actually, Australia is pretty welcoming to the right people, and pretty clear to the others that they cannot stay. There is an old anecdote about a billionaire who applied for citizenship back in the ‘nineties who put on his “skills” questionnaire “billionaire.”

His form came back, “not a skill we need at this time,” marked REJECTED.

  159. R –

I see Australian expat Rolf Harris just went to the slammer for sexual abuse of some teens back in the ‘sixties. He’s 84 now. Shit that sucks for him. Guess he never heard about how overrated is teenaged pussy.

He had quite a career, but you probably only know him from this one:

  160. R @ 185

‘no mas?’ I didn’t know Sarah Palin spoke Spanish.

Hell, we’re all still waiting for her to speak English, ya bet’cha…

  161. Rutherford, its over for your current argument. i’m sticking a fork in it. If you don’t believe me, read Betsy’s Page this morning.

Read” Immigration Tipping Point” by Frosty Wooldridge.

“America stands at a cross roads. It either controls its sovereignty by maintaining its borders against illegality or it suffers the consequences of massive population overload, balkanization, accelerating crime, educational break down, water shortages, economic ruin and loss of the Middle Class.”

With just legal immigration, the US will have over a hundred twenty million new inhabitants in thirty years. Chicago’s population will triple. The US will be a third world nation by then.

He writes what we have been writing, and he has more research and details to support his points. Your current arguments are finished. I no longer take your views on this subject seriously.

Garth Emery featuring Chistina Novelli, YouTube says the same. and also about this blog without meaning to. ” Inside you’re shivering. The silence shouts so loud. If I’m somewhere else, it doesn’t mean that I don’t see. I know who you are from the start. But now, I don’t know who you are. Soon there will be nothing at all when the concrete angel falls.”

parker, you are obviously a smart man but like Sarah, you are no genius. The jury is still out on whether you or Sarah Palin has more native intelligence. She has certainly done more with her life than any of us has.She was also right about death panels and several other subjects.Sarah is doubtless a hell of a lot smarter than Barry, but admittedly the bar is low. I still wouldn’t vote for her for any office higher than county commissioner, but that is another issue unrelated to her brain power.

  162. Gorilla,

That carnival cartoon was great and incredibly well done.

Unfortunately with all the Obama flubs, divisive tactics, colossal failures, and divisive plans, Obamacare has almost been put on the brain’s back burner. Till you die, of course.

Maybe that’s Obama’s Plan ‘B’. Baffle them with one horrific decision after another to bury the last horrific decision and disaster.

Obama would resign if he had one ounce of character. Biden is a moron, but nothing would change.

America could be better run by randomly drawing two names out of the census hat.

  163. Read a great comment at another site this morning which I felt deserved to be shared concerning most recently the Hobby Lobby case and Sisters of the Poor…but its application is far more reaching than that.

The ‘hobby’ reference what how Megan McArdle, the author of the article, referred to how the Left views religion.

    ———-

The secular left does not view religion as a hobby, it views religion as a competing, non-permissible loyalty. The dissenters are not model train enthusiasts, they are disloyal to the State. That explains the anger of the progressive Left to the Hobby Lobby decision and to those of us who do have religious faith.

It is said that the progressive Left would tolerate people of faith if only the latter practiced it strictly from 10 am to 11 am Sunday mornings and otherwise led a life of conformity to the State. That is not quite true — the true secular Left would never allow a citizen an hour to himself/herself. That is the difference between “hobby” and “disloyalty”.

Why did the Obama administration push an administrative rule requiring all employers to provide free contraceptives and not (say) free insulin for diabetics? Because providing free insulin doesn’t require anyone to subordinate their faith to the State, whereas providing forms of contraception that induce an abortion does.

That’s the real issue: it’s about breaking people of faith, by corrupting that faith in ways large and small, by forcing adherents to participate in that corruption and thereby to acknowledge that the State is greater then their God.

This is not about the “War on Women” or religion as a “hobby”. Socialism is a jealous god and will not tolerate any other being placed anywhere near it. That explains the ferocity of the socialists — they KNOW religious faith is a threat to them, and they’re out to break it.

  164. As with the Arabs and Jews,Romans and Carthiginians, Soviets and west, this struggle will not end until one or the other is destroyed.

  165. Jimmy Page said he also had memory gaps, but he also did heroin.

I saw a story recently that Page may have stolen the melody to Stairway to Heaven. I hope it ain’t true.

  166. Your current arguments are finished. I no longer take your views on this subject seriously.

This is a curious statement in that I haven’t taken a definitive stand on the immigration issue.

    1. I DO have concerns about how we treat children. That concern ranges from screaming at a bus load of them to returning them to an environment where they either join a gang or are murdered.

    2. I strongly reject the notion that this is a diabolical plot by Obama to weaken the country. I consider that meme sheer lunacy.

    3. Honestly, I’ve never devoted a lot of mind space to sovereignty. It’s not that I don’t think it matters. I’ve just taken it for granted. More thoughts on that in a new post coming out by Monday I hope.

I fully agree there is some substance buried in all the melodrama here. I’m still digesting it.

And not for nuthin but I’m no “immigrant lover” and I don’t take marching orders from MSDNC on the subject. If any of you have read my travails on the job you’d know that if I talk to one more person who can’t speak fucking English I’m gonna pop a vein.

  167. To be more specific, in Tex’s excerpt Megan ponders free contraception vs free insulin.

So let’s take that apart a bit. I don’t understand free contraception. Never have, never will. Like insulin, contraception should involve a copay of some sort based on the premium paid by the insured. If that is where she is coming from, fine. But she wants contraception off the table altogether. What about women with endometriosis? Are they supposed to pay up the wazoo because of religious paranoia about abortifacients?

Has it occurred to Megan that some crackpot religions oppose blood transfusions? Does a company get to tell employees “go pay for your own blood transfusion”? Who defines what is legit religious objection and what is lunacy? On the flipside, should insurance companies be forced to cover voodoo treatments?

  168. “Does a company get to tell employees “go pay for your own blood transfusion”?”

    In my perfect world…yes.

Seriously, as long as it is uniform….yeah…they should be able to say go pay for your own blood transfusion.

Companies shouldn’t have to pay for health insurance.

  169. What about women with endometriosis? Are they supposed to pay up the wazoo because of religious paranoia about abortifacients?

Your lack of medical expertise is showing. Sixteen of the twenty contraceptives are being paid for – the very ones that treat endometriosis. Once again, your argument rings hollow.

And once again Barack Jr., you’re not only out of your league, you’re incompetent and missed the entire premise of the excellent post…

  170. R Mexico as well as the other state ayers have a huge role in the matter. They literally need the remittance $$$ to steady their economies.

  171. R-

It’s interesting seeing the world from a non-religious perspective, isn’t it? The whole contraception thing seems such a tempest in a teapot. Just pay for the goddamned contraception and get on with it, will you?

  172. “The secular left does not view religion as a hobby, it views religion as a competing, non-permissible loyalty.

That is the difference between “hobby” and “disloyalty”.”

All nonsense. All straw man. Every word. Nobody on the Left ever said anything like that. All made up in the wild, wubbulous world of Megan McArdle’s cobweb-filled brain. Vaporware.

Now the Right, on the other hand (That’s a joke):

Those fuckers have three eyes and the center one shoots laser beams that fry little babies in the womb, and Rutherford and I want to go on record as being opposed to such malevolence.

Or we may pray for them.

    Sheesh.

  173. R case in point about the other state players. A train derailed in Mexico it had 1300 people on board who we’re heading to the USA. There is fully sanctioned industry that looks to get nationals into the US. In the hope $s flow home

  174. Like I said before, nobody wants to solve the border issue, at least nobody that can. There is too much invested and gained on both sides to ever really fix it. It’s like every other cause in a capitalist society, if you fix or make something permanent, you go out of business. In other words, fix yourself right out of a job or steady income stream. Bidness must go on… nothing personal. 😈

  175. There is truth to what poolman is saying. That’s for sure. When the left is teamed up with many in business…..we’re in trouble.

Personally, I’ve always looked at strawberries as a special treat. I’ll pay more to have them picked legally . But….that’s easy for me to say.

  176. Alfie ,

Isn’t that crazy? A non passenger train derailes and over a thousand illegal aliens heading for America are stranded.

    This country is dooned.

  177. Companies shouldn’t have to pay for health insurance.

Exactly. And it’s marked up 20 percent. What began as a benefit or perk by compassionate business owners somehow became another burden for EVERY employer. That passes down another cost to the consumer. People are so dense. How can another forced tax burden be a good thing for all?

  178. All nonsense. All straw man. Every word. Nobody on the Left ever said anything like that. All made up in the wild, wubbulous world of Megan McArdle’s cobweb-filled brain. Vaporware.

No Pfesser. You fit the bill of that which was just condemned. I knew you’d be here. Like Huckhead, you’re easy as hell to bait and so predictable, easy to beat. The comment was brilliant – perhaps the best descriptor of you I’ve ever read. You’re the text book case of this:

It’s about breaking people of faith, by corrupting that faith in ways large and small, by forcing adherents to participate in that corruption and thereby to acknowledge that the State is greater then their God.

Only you’re a little different breed. You god isn’t the state. It’s you.

What a little altar for the divine you make. 😛 Even worse than the Leftist.

  179. “Nobody on the Left ever said anything like that.”

‘Oh, they’ve said it and you’ve said it at least a hundred times a day.’

    OK – where? Cites, please.

  180. Rutherford. I misunderstood your original post in which you wrote you would drive over the protesters. Your comment about the Statue of Liberty misled me too’

I’m glad we agree our invasion of illegals and dream children is a toxic attack on our country. I agree the children don.t deserve to be harrassed and mistreated. I would have been at that demonstration but I wouldn’t have yelled. Those children have suffered enough.

An expert with the Heritage Foundation told KFAB Omaha details of the crisis. Obama is one of the people who unwittingly (I hope) set this into motion. She also said an unknown number of children has died enroute.

We would be better served to negotiate with the Central American countries a poor person’s Marshal Plan, It would be cheaper for us in the long run. Mexico is doing little Their law enforcement organizations are corrupt, and are taking bribes from cartels.

Soverignity is necessary for our survival as a country. It is no different than regulations forbidding a neighbor from cutting down a tree in your front yard.

  181. OK – where? Cites, please.

Move up…and did you miss the Little Sisters of the Poor being demonized by the godless manhaters, or did that one escape you too?

  182. The Gaza health ministry has confirmed the deaths of 101 Palestinians so far in the besieged strip since Israel began its relentless assault early Tuesday. Among those killed, at least 22 were aged 16 or younger. The two youngest victims were both 18 months old.

    http://english.al-akhbar.com/content/victims-gaza-list-palestinians-killed-israels-ongoing-assault

The only terror being inflicted on the Israelis right now is being inflicted upon them by their own government who are regularly calling for air strike sirens to go off so the population is duly horrified and kept in a state of constant fear while the Israeli government makes ready for their oil and LNG grab in Gaza. That’s why they withheld information about those missing boys. That’s why they crafted this crisis in the first place. That’s why Diane Sawyer and Disney owned ABC “World News” had to LIE about various images of destruction in their Tuesday night “news” broadcast. They didn’t wish to show the REAL images of Israeli “horror”. But I will.

    http://willyloman.wordpress.com/2014/07/10/imagine-a-photo-essay-for-gaza/

  183. Hamas must be destroyed…anyone acting as human shield for Hamas must be destroyed.

They hide in a mosque, level it.

And quit with the forewarnings that you’re going to bomb the house.

As Nike says, “Just Do It!”

This is my advice to Israel. Quit worrying about the Jew hating propagandists. Kill them all, including the beasts of the field.

    ——–

The intelligent of the world will quietly thank you for destroying the puppets of the Terrorist State of Iran.

  184. The only terror being inflicted on Israeles is by their own government” for sounding air raid sirens. How dare anyone pollute the internet and this blog with such sewage? That is just plain stupid.

Hamas and other extremists started the attacks because Isreal’s existence offends them. My reaction to pictures of dead extremists is the same as their reaction to dead Jews. I hope Israel kills them all.

The Justice Departmente is in Norfolk to investigate the outhouse float today. The feds are trying to intimidate and end free expression.,

  185. You guys sound pretty extremist to me. It certainly reflects a racist slant to want to annihilate a person based on where he lives and who his parents are.

  186. Although I don’t agree with Mcardles piece to think the left is benevolent and oh so tolerant and accepting is a hell of a stretch. Ever hear of a book titled Nudge?

  187. Interesting thing about the recent uptick in ME violence is many think Hamas has run into a conflict they don’t need to be on and are grossly incapable of getting through nearly as well as prior ventures

  188. Interesting tidbit I haven’t seen elsewhere but been busy perhaps it is…
I think there are a number of folks contemplating getting NORTHCOM involved on the border. Anyone cool with that? Against it? Doubt it possible?

  189. It certainly reflects a racist slant to want to annihilate a person based on where he lives and who his parents are.

    I wasn’t aware Palestine was a race…

If Israel was as evil as you insist, Poolman, there would be no such thing as Gaza or the West Bank – only Israel. That disconnect apparently never registers in your one Leftist and Right sulcus.

I think it’s a horrible mistake on Israel’s part to even call ahead before bombing. They’re much more humane than I would be if somebody was attempting to murder my kids and wife.

  190. Alfie,

I have such little trust in anything under the jurisdiction or affiliation with Obama, I have to assume NORTHCOM would be as hamstrung as the National Guard and our military.

Probably demanded by Leftists to hand out Popsicles.

I’ve been reading Lone Survivor. Our rules of engagement are now so ludicrous, I think everybody in the military is in danger. In this book, over a dozen SEALS were lost because they feared being thrown in the pen for engagement, chose not to, and let these shepherds go who then directed Al Qaeda to there position, and then lost their lives over it.

Leftism is death to this nation. And I am not joking.

  191. Empress Nero Pelosi fear mongering about the mean mens on the supreme court determining what contraception is legal and other assorted lies related to the recent ruling. She looks more like a tranny every day. Think she’s a crackpot Rutherford E Coyote Super Genius?

Watch Rutherford get on his rocking horse and babble “I never defended blah blah blah.” Yes you did you bug dummy – every time you entered a voting booth.

    Enjoy extinction you stupid cows.

  192. Any parent who sends their child alone to another country ought not get them back and their families should be permanently barred from ever coming here legally. Immediate sealed adoption for the child and a lifetime ban for the parents.

  193. NORTHCOM is already part of the mix. You must mean a more visible role. They are another of those top down post-911 constructs.

  194. “I already said you’d be screaming overreach if Obama used discretion within the law.” -Rutherlosi

See the “if” there, dope? That’s your trademark coup de grace.

SO WHAT?! That has nothing to do with why Obama suddenly decided he’s subject to laws and order. He’s got a pen and a phone, remember? And anyway who are you kidding that us “screaming” isn’t the desired result?

Your support goes to a man who clearly wishes that the American people who oppose his appetites had only one neck so that he could be done with us all at once.

You wanna run this lady over with your imaginary bus?

“It’s not right. Billions of dollars are going to be borrowed from the White House to feed and house them. What about the goddamn kids here? In our neighborhoods? In our country?”

  195. If Israel was as evil as you insist, Poolman, there would be no such thing as Gaza or the West Bank – only Israel. That disconnect apparently never registers in your one Leftist and Right sulcus.

You apparently ignored, didn’t understand, or did not see the link I provided in 69. What do you think Israel’s end goal is? How do you think the map will look after this campaign?

I think you have difficulty recognizing evil. Maybe review Matthew 23…

  196. “How do you think the map will look after this campaign?”

    The same.

In other news drudge is reporting they are letting illegal aliens on flights with no I.D.

Just some xeroxed piece of paper.

I can’t believe the fire this administration is playing with.

  197. It is fire, but it’s funny you expect illegals to have id. Whose id should they carry? They haven’t been initiated in the capital letter society – yet.

  198. I never expected them to have ID. I just don’t expect them to get to fly on commercial flights (free of charge) in ways us plebeians are not allowed.

TSA has been busting balls. But the mysterious unknowns from a foriegn country? Walk on without ID. Unbelievable .

Obviously …it seems to be an absolute recipe for disaster.

  199. I’ve the Where’s Waldo street person with the sword 5 times now.

That guy is really impressive .

  200. I think you have difficulty recognizing evil. Maybe review Matthew 23…

I think you should review Genesis 12:3. Perhaps that helps to explain why your world so bleak. 😉 Who knows? 😈

What do I think Israel’s end goal is? To exist; to live in peace.

    ———

Poolman. There is one immutable difference between our measure of faith. But let’s put the theological aside for the moment.

For expressly secular reasons, I support Israel because I see Israel as both a lighthouse and a fortress of civilization in a sea of Islamic barbarism.

You see Islam as a religion of peace, as helpless victims, with America leading the Imperialist charge as lackeys for murderous Jews.

I’ll let the rest of the secular world decide which one of us is more logical.

  201. It’s a political move designed to ramp up the terror level thereby accepting more top down control (passed off as security) over our lives. How has all this been handled before it got all the press? Have kids without ids been put on commercial jets before? As for the children, we’ll probably just immunize chip process them and send them into various populations to disrupt society ala american gladio return them to their country of origin and study their future behavior.

  202. “That guy is really impressive.”

Yeah THAT’S a crazy guy on the corner you don’t mind having around.

One time when I was about 9 I was sitting on the corner watching an ant colony and I started narrating the sequence, eventually giving voice to the ants themselves. At 9 I was a little old for that kind of thing but I sort of got really involved in vocalizing the scenario they were playing out and didn’t notice the two guys sitting in the car with the window down watching me. They scared the shit out of me when they busted loose laughing and I jumped. I’m pretty sure all parts of my body and limbs left the ground.

They rode away and I’ll never forget the passenger sticking his arm out the window and banging the top of the car he was laughing so hard.

  203. “What do I think Israel’s end goal is? To exist; to live in peace.”

Tex, ever wonder why the don’t-let-it-get-personal lip servers never really present an opposing argument to, say. #259. They just get personal. Real quick. Personal and PC.

  204. Man I knew when I hit send that I hadn’t closed my italics. There should be a tiny window for callbacks. 2 minutes.

I miss discussion forums. The blog commenting thing is such a weird phenomenon I don’t know how it ever caught on. Laziness I suppose. Laziness and boredom and a gift for gab.

    Very clunky though.

  205. I think you should review Genesis 12:3.

Tex, I know how much of an OT man you are. You’ve proved it time and again. But even you have to admit Abraham loved his son Ismael, though forced to send him and his mother into exile to keep the peace in his house. God protected them, however, and I believe He still has compassion over them.

But that really isn’t the point of Genesis 12:3. Abram was told to leave his home and was given a prophetic word. That is what Genesis 12 verses 2 and 3 are. They are indented in my text to show God was telling Abram he would become a great nation. How many claim descending from Abram? Who curses Abram, or Abraham for that matter? The Jews were not a separate and distinct people yet. This was well before Isaac, the father of Jacob/Israel.

Genesis 22:18 further elaborates this very same blessing, which refers specifically to his seed and Galatians 3:16 further ties this to mean Christ. So the blessing and curse refers to Jesus.

  206. “Rutherford shows his intelligence with his verbal contortions to defend a pack of lies and misinformation. I don’t know of anyone who can do it better.”

Yeah, especially that “Policy started with Bush” crap.

Everyone loves flattery but only a fool actually believes it.

  207. 200 alien children are now living in Nebraska, and the governor is angry. There was no coordination or consultation,.One of the dangers is TB.

  208. . I wasn’t flattering Rutherford. I think he defends lies and ignorance better than most.

“That policy started with Bush” crap is a diversion which might work with a liberal simpleton,

  209. An Omaha station showed the wedding of two Ukrainian rebels. They were well-dressed and looked good. They also had weapons strapped onto their clothes,.

  210. Well, if it troubles you that I beat you up with the Old Testament, I most certainly can move to the New Testament and do just the same, Poolman.

It’s actually easier to do that than to debate some Aryan like Huck who is completely secular, where I have to provide secular reasons for supporting our only real ally in the Middle East.

Out of curiosity, what is the relationship of this man you serve named Mohammad have in common with Jesus’ lineage, the message, and the 40 Jewish authors who penned our Bible, including all but two books of the New Testament?

I think I have finally figured you out, Poolman. Though you have a form of religion, it’s really a twisted form of taquiyya very similar to Islam that borrows parts of Judeo Christian heritage and gospel. And I believe that kind of parallels your conspiracies and vicious propaganda, and there is a reason for that.

Because I think you’re an insanely envious and angry human in passive form that revels in another’s misery. You’re looking for somebody to blame your own path – the U.S. government, J Street, most Christians, Zionists.

I’ll bet one of the most exciting days of your life was 9/11. Misery does indeed love company.

  211. You guys sound pretty extremist to me. It certainly reflects a racist slant to want to annihilate a person based on where he lives and who his parents are.

Not much to argue about there.

  212. Your mind is like a corn maze, Tex. Some days I don’t know how to get through it without a machete. Your logic and conclusions do amuse, however. For reasons unknown, I still strive to correct your wrongheadedness. Life can be a thankless journey…

Is missus Taylor going to treat you nice this weekend? Did you ask for new knees for your birthday?

  213. Justice Department officials and the NAACP investigated the parade outhouse designed to protest VA mismanagement. A Vietnam veteran who has contributed more to this country than the investigators said there was nothing racial.

Yesterday an angry Governor Johanns said in a KFAB interview that at least 200 illegal children were smuggled into Nebraska without notice or warning. The government refuses to give names or locations. Observant people think most are in Grand Island with a few in Omaha. Without knowledge of their identities the state will lose them to the general population and tax payers will maintain them. With

The talk show hosts listeners are understandably angry. One caller said he had called several neighbors after work to vent. This morning deputies from the sherriff’s office visited his home and told him he ought not be trying to anger his neighbors.

PJ Media discussed a German writer who has been defending the US for years. The US is unique and willing to take the initive when Europeans are bogged down by bureauocratic rules and fait He noted Rummy’s observation that New Europe in the East was more dynamic than Old Western Europe is no longer true about Obama’s US. The US has become the New Old Europe.

We are becoming the dictionary definition of a fascist state, and Sofia Jannok’s term, “Occupying Regime” is true since Progressives have imported a foreign ideology.

We need more protesters like the folks you refused to wish happy nation’s birthday to, Rutherford. This is the message they and KFAB’s callers are sending this morning.

    “If I’m somewhere else,
    it doesn’t mean that I don’t see
    That you don’t trust yourself
That’s why you don’t trust me
    When you’re crazy
    You don’t speak.
    You think you know me
    But what you know
    is just skin deep
    If you keep
    building these walls
    brick by brick
    tower so tall
    Soon I won’t see
    you at all

    angel falls.”

  214. Rutherford – as a thinking man, I thought you would appreciate the Forbes article on the psychology behind the popularity of Game of Thrones, the HBO series.

    http://www.forbes.com/sites/alicegwalton/2014/07/08/deeper-than-swords-10-reasons-were-so-addicted-to-game-of-thrones/

What made me think of you and your virtual world was this, though:

“The ‘Game of Thrones’ world, very much like ours, is not one where characters can ‘reach across the aisle,’ find a common ground or compromise,” Donovan points out. “The show is a perfect metaphor for the scorched-earth style of politics in a deeply divided red state/blue state America. Westeros can stand in for a world of Fox News fans and MSNBC fans who despise each other and would accept nothing less than the complete annihilation of the other side.”

Arguably, one of the best examples of modern-day metaphor in the show is the Wall. It’s designed to keep out other, both literal and abstract. It’s an “effective metaphor for the United States’ own undocumented immigrant issue,” says Donovan. “Just like Westeros, the U.S. is debating whether its southern borders should be sealed by larger and ever more restrictive walls as more and more foreigners are attempting to breach it.”
    **********
A quick survey of the comments this evening reveals the spelling of Nazi as “Notzi.” Normally, one shouldn’t comment on such things, but on so many levels it explains why your country is in the pickle that it is.

  215. Oh man. That Game of Thrones metaphor was so deep.

The Wall maaaaaaaaaaan. Its like the border. Woaaah.

And the Fox News is like…….Westoros.

  216. Not much to argue about there.

Six years ago, never in my wildest dreams could I imagine Rutherford being on par with FG Poolman…

    But he is.

Damn, Rutherford. You must have lived under a rock growing up. Poolman has half an excuse. He’s raised Bxttf!ck, TX, I doubt high school educated, and wouldn’t know sand from oil – corn stuck in his teeth.

What the hell is your excuse, Harvard? Since when is Palestinian a race, you imbeciles? Kill them all…

  217. The original Jews and Palestinians are both members of the Semitic ethnic group a subset of the white race as Tex noted. Their relationship is obvious when you see their faces. Those of us who are white can’t really be racists against our own race. We can be bigots.

Don’t worry, Tex, I fixed it for Rutherford and Poolman in 272 when I wrote that Rutherford is right. The extreme Muslims are racists as he “implied” We know he didn’t really, but I made his post and also Poolman’s more accurate.

  218. James,

I concluded long ago, Poolman wouldn’t know the difference between a neutron and a crouton.

Poolman mimics some nitwits out on la la land at the latest conspiracy site. Take his Palestinian/Israel maps he found, unable to conclude the difference in mass is perfectly correlated with Arabs attacking Israel, then losing.

Rutherford has simply become beaten down, his ideology in tatters over his feckless and severely weakened President. The world has already impeached Obama.

Rutherford is intellectually lazy, but he is smart enough he ought to know better. I think. 😐

  219. Because the census card doesn’t have a Palestinian option unless you consider ‘other’ they aren’t in their own category and therefore not a separate race? I get it. They don’t fit neatly the box we made for them. Brown people then. If we all came from the same ‘Adam and Eve’, as your belief system insists, how can we be of varying race? Maybe tribalist is the better descriptor, since racist has such politically weighty negative clout.

  220. “Rutherford – as a thinking man, blah blah blah…”

LOL. Not a believable start there Lord Pflattery but that’s a cracking deep article. You know, there aren’t enough articles analyzing the popularity of Game of Thrones. Amazing insight, reason number 3. “Sexposition has been a hallmark of the show, and supposedly forces people to pay attention to essential plot explanation through the nakedness.” People like it for the sex – whoa, groundbreaking.

You remember sex, don’t you Uncle Pfester?

  221. 283 subjective categories don’t mean much except for cultural definitions, Poolman.

Genetics show southern Europeans, southward to have some African genes. Some northern and eastern Europeans have a few Asian genes. Many Pakistanis, Indians, and north Africans are caucasians though they have brown or dark skin,

Most Europeans and Asians have some Neanderthal genes, and Tibetans are tolerant of high elevations thanks to Densovians, relatives of Neanderthals who gave their genes to Tibetans.

Scientists discovered a seven thousand year old skeleton in Spain. The man had genes for blue eyes but also for brown skin. Separation, mutations, and evolution made us look so different from each other. Genetics trace us all back to a single Eve and an Adam parent if you reach back far enough.

Jews and Palestinians are of the same race. Of course converts from several hundred years to the present look different from original semetic people because though they profess a semetic religion they still belong to another variety of people.

Tribalist is more accurate when people of the same race fight each other, but as you write, it doesn’t have the same emotional impact.

    Tex,

You are right. It is also obvious we hold the best hand. We might as well play sometimes and have fun with our position. It will only worsen for the other side.

  222. It tickles me to death that the person I assume is the eldest of us all quotes contemporary pop music lyrics. James, every time you quote a song you get my attention. Keep it up dude. 🙂

  223. Oh man. That Game of Thrones metaphor was so deep.

The Wall maaaaaaaaaaan. Its like the border. Woaaah.

Do you know being dismissive is your least appealing quality?

  224. What the hell is your excuse, Harvard? Since when is Palestinian a race, you imbeciles? Kill them all…

I wasn’t focused on the word race but on Pool’s underlying message. Tex I know for a fact you don’t want Palestinians, 10 years and younger, to die because the adults that control their lives are vicious assholes.

  225. I concluded long ago, Poolman wouldn’t know the difference between a neutron and a crouton.

I’m sorry Poolman but that cracked me up.

Tex if you replaced more of your invective with humor, you’d be a lot more effective. You can write some really funny shit when you put your mind to it.

  226. Tex, of all your criticisms of me over the years, the one I must cop to is laziness. It plagued me in college and continues to this day. But believe it or not I am trying.

  227. Muffy ….now that’s where I draw the line. Half the sex scenes in Thrones are gay. What are you trying to say?

Despite the random gayness, the show is awesome. Great escapism.

In fact, that’s what makes Phaker’s corny metaphor so stupid. The show is entertaining because of all the different Houses competing against one another . Its not a bipartison world at all. Its multipartisan.

As for the wall…..they actually give their lives defending the damn thing.

Not that it would have been terribly rivitting if Pfaker’s metaphor was on point in the first place.

Sorry Rutherford…..i’m not in your long lost corporate office where I have to pretend something isn’t stupid as pfuck. You notzie.

  228. Sorry Rutherford…..i’m not in your long lost corporate office where I have to pretend something isn’t stupid as pfuck. You notzie.

You have to do it in the classroom so I guess I should give you some latitude here.

  229. Anyone that believes modern television (or any TV) is somehow painstakingly accurate and without social engineering is truly buying into mystique of Hollywood.
I find all the players pretty egregious.BBC is especially unrelenting in their spin for present day sensitivities.

  230. I wish to publicly thank pool man for providing some of the stuff he does. I find it a fascinating look into an element of the US and indeed the world that more folks should get acquainted with. It serves a purpose of engaging thought and seeing how there are elements who are truly dangerous to mankind.

  231. Thanks Rutherford 293 I’m glad you like them. You might like some of the music if you listen to it on YouTube.

I’m so old I remember “Shrimp Boats are Coming” and “Some folks call me Speedo, but my real name is Mr. Earl.”

  232. One point that has been made by a few of you, with which I agree, is that all employer based health care subsidy is a BENEFIT. This actually should, regrettably, give employers a lot of latitude in how they shape the benefit.

  233. ‘Sorry Rutherford…..i’m not in your long lost corporate office where I have to pretend something isn’t stupid as pfuck. You notzie. ‘

R: “You have to do it in the classroom so I guess I should give you some latitude here.”

And that’s why American kids never learned to spell. The teachers can’t spell, either. That’s because they went to the same schools.

  234. Man…you will never guess what I caught on a Hula Popper fishing lure today. Top water fishin.

Let me start by rehashing my car theory . Buy 2 5,000 dollar cars and roll with it. Gangster lean in a 2003 mini van.

One problem. I’m always blocking my wife in the driveway . I don’t mean to. But I always fucking do it. And it infuriates my wife.

Today I hear this batching in the driveway . I walk outside and my mother in law is nagging at me but I don’t know what she is naghing
about. It’s then I see my wife’s ass practically hanging out of my 94 blazer.

My wife’s hair is completely hooked by my Hula Popper. She must of put on a good fight. Both hooks imbedded in her 200 dollar hair style.

She was moving my Blazer because I blocked her in of course. Apparently my fishing pole was at the wrong angle. Considering she is blind in one eye already, she’s overly sensitive to these types of mishaps.

Had to bust out my tackle box for the needle nose.

She was very pissed at me.

  235. So I get this from my 10 year old daughter today:

Daddy, you know why you would survive a zombie apocalypse? Because zombies eat brains.

Mmm maybe she is reading the blog? 😆

  236. It’s then I see my wife’s ass practically hanging out of my 94 blazer.

My wife’s hair is completely hooked by my Hula Popper. She must of put on a good fight.

    ** GUFFAW **

  237. Little ditty from my grad school roomie:

Today I swung my front door wide open and placed my Remington 30.06 right in the doorway. I left 6 cartridges beside it, then left it alone and went about my business.

While I was gone, the mailman delivered my mail, the neighbor boy across the street mowed the yard, a girl walked her dog down the street, and quite a few cars stopped at the stop sign near the front of our house.

After about an hour, I checked on the gun. It was still sitting there, right where I had left it. It hadn’t moved itself outside. It certainly hadn’t killed anyone, even with the numerous opportunities it had been presented to do so.

In fact, it hadn’t even loaded itself. Well you can imagine my surprise, with all the hype by the Left and the Media about how dangerous guns are and how they kill people.

Either the media is wrong or I’m in possession of the laziest gun in the world.

The United States is 3rd in Murders throughout the World. But if you take out Chicago, Detroit, Washington DC and New Orleans, the United States is 4th from the bottom for Murders.

These 4 Cities also have the toughest Gun Control Laws in the United States. ALL 4 are controlled by Democrats.

It would be absurd to draw any conclusions from this data – right?

Well, I’m off to check on my spoons. I hear they’re making people fat.

  238. 5.7 V8.

The thermostat works (although it might have got fried a little…I drove about a mile hot as fuck).

After I filled the radiator I ran cool as a cucumber all the way home. Drove about 100 miles. Leaked like crazy when I pulled in. Heater didn’t help.

    So….it could be the cap.

    No noise…..

I think it has to be the water pump.

I ended up taking it in to the shop to get it pressurized. Waiting on what they say.

I’m too lazy to do it myself.

Tex says 6 hours of labor. He didn’t add the rabbit factor into the equation which brings it up to 12 hours and a lot of cursing.
