What happened to Obamacare? Rhetoric met reality. As both candidate and president, the master rhetorician could conjure a world in which he bestows upon you health-care nirvana: more coverage, less cost.

But you can’t fake it in legislation. Once you commit your fantasies to words and numbers, the Congressional Budget Office comes along and declares that the emperor has no clothes.

Glad you are back. You are the only other voice of reason here besides myself. Glad you had a blast despite the progressobot. I might be doing some white water rafting myself in 2 weeks or so. Ill let you know if I “accidentally” push a lib out of the raft.

Sorry. It was a last minute vacation as I wasn’t going to go until the day before – somebody has to care for the animals but my sister came through.

Oh, our tour guide was more liberal than you “R”. A complete lowlife, complete with bad acne and smelled like a man (you know, typical progressive woman).

Mmmm, maybe my memory fails me but I don’t recall any uproar over C. Everett Coop. He was hardly slender. At least Tex, you seem to see this for the foolishness that it is.

No doubt foolish – and C. Everett Koop was indeed a bear of a man. However, any other comparison must end there. C. Everett was probably the most qualified, brilliant Surgeon General ever nominated. Everyone knew him brilliant. As a reminder to the lib blogger, for instance:

This little butterball appears to be the politically correct nominee that Obama favors – incompetent and conniving – probably living off the public dole of Katrina and Ray Nagin’s lover in Chocolate City.

It’s even funnier when they decide to join a commune. We used to visit one when I was stationed in Northern Cally for…uh…some of their merchandise on the market. It was always funny to us: Every time they would give us a lecture about how we are just pawns in a world we can’t understand. Apolitical and just wanting to get fucked up, none of us even listened to their pretentious little rants. We did get a kick out of watching the various jealousies and obvious hierarchy make their little utopia of broken down buses identical to any other society.
